[Q] My HTC Incredible S Cannot Received Any OTA update Anymore!!

I know this is a noob question.but i need answer and guidance..
why my device cannot received any OTA update anymore??
i already root my device and using custom rom on this site..
now i need to revert back n want to received any OTA update like before..please guide and advice me ...
i need ICS official update for my device...
i'm from malaysia,
please provide me the suit RUU or stock Rom for my country to download..
Really need complete guide to revert back and want to received any official update back....

There is no official ICS OTA for the IncredibleS yet!!!!!
As for the noob question, you should SEARCH this forum first because there is plenty of information about reverting back to a stock ROM.

As soon as an ota update for ics is released there will be a stock rooted version of it available to download in the dev section. I promise you.

but any custom rom for incredible s has so many bugs..
i need official ICS rom that originally and has no bugs..
do you have any idea or link to have ICS rom that had no problem/bugs while using that rom??

You are just going to have to wait for an official HTC ICS ROM for the IncS just like the rest of us!!!
If you are tired of custom ROMs with bugs, then you just need to go back to a ROM based on the HTC Sense 3.0/Gingerbread 2.3.5.

[Q] am I ok for now? (NOOB)

Being overeager i Flashed the official stock ICS 4.0.3 German build onto my note using PC odin, everything went ok and the phone is running great. (i was on stock 2.3.6 and unrooted before)
I plan to remain unrooted and on stock for now, but just came to know about the issues people are having with ICS and bricking.
So my question is am i in the clear? or should i revert back to GB?

Well, if you are planing to stay unrooted then you are safe...

also if i remain the way i am, will i recieve further OTA updates from samsung?

just to be totally clear, am i in the clear for now if i stay this way!? if i want can i revert back to stock GB using PC Odin?
Also if in the future samsung send out another official update will i get that OTA? or do i have to use another manual method!?

You are very safe, don't worry bro.
I think you should still get the OTA updates but I say flash the stock ICS for your region whenever it comes out.

[Q] Update from 2.3.4 gingerbread to 2.3.6

Hey guys-
Looked for a thread about this and didn't find anything.
I read in some blog that in order to flash my stock rom to cyanogenmod 7.2, I need to have the latest gingerbread update.
a) is this true?
b) if so, how do I do it? Do I have to root it again once I get an official update?

a. Nope. 2.3.4 is good. You can use 2.3.6 but not needed.
b. Yes, but as I said 2.3.4 works.
My baseband (stock ROM when I flashed CM is called baseband) is XXKPK 2.3.4. It works perfectly. But you need stock 2.3.6 from your country otherwise, 3G and GPS will not work.

Yes, as long as your phone is 2.3.x (Gingerbread) it's alright to flash CWM and then flash custom roms, don't have to be the latest version (2.3.6).

Yes. But if you want to update it to 2.3.6 you need to find a stock ROM from your country at samfirmware.com. But you don't need to update, because 2.3.4 is good. Now it depends on you.

I was wondering if there was a way to flash a GB rom onto my bionic that received the ICS update?
