Our team does not own an Xperia Pro. So builds, as and when they are released, are not tested.
INTRODUCTION
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project.
Its another custom rom like cyanogenmod, but with much more features and customisations.
The development is headed by RomanBB who is a full time college student.
More details can be found on http://aokp.co

ABOUT KANGXPERIAPROJECT
This ROM is a combined work of all members of KangXperiaProject.
KangXperiaProject is our noob-ish project to build AOKP (not port) from sources for Xperia line of phones, as Xperia devices are not supported officially by AOKP officially as of yet.
Members of KangXperiaProject are :
Supervenom , Championswimmer, Stelios97, Daveee10, Pikpok
(We are not any great developers, we use sources from CM team, AOKP team, and Freexperia Team)
KangXperiaProject ROMs contain some added unofficial features in addition to AOKP.
You can find lots of themes from GummyROM and a better AlarmClock + Stopwatch by Achep.
More devs willing to work are welcome. It will be easier to maintain more devices then
FEATURES
AOKP has hundreds of awesome features added over AOSP and CM9
a list can be found here
In general, what is different in AOKP is that all special settings are placed under "ROM control" and not mixed under settings as in CM9
Also some very user friendly features are provided, like on screen buttons can be switched on and off using a toggle, we can switch on the torch using power button long press and many such features.
Also lockscreen, task manager, and many aspects can be customized a lot.
CHANGELOG
The official AOKP changelog can be found here
http://forum.aokp.co/page/news
Unofficial Changelog for KXP is found here on post#3

this is for pro NOT for arc
and supervenom and me both are on the same team "KangXperiaProject"
since iyokan didn't have a native build so i made this

Thanks for your work :good:

Another win for the team

Thanks for your contribution .

Dude, do not tell people to use Sirkay's Kernel for this. Sirkay's Kernel is for the Arc (as far as I know) and not for Pro.
We'd have to stick with the latest FXP.

just installed the rom, but im not able to enter my pin code for my simcard. no screen keyboard pups up, and my HW keyboard doesn't give any input.
any tricks to get past this ?

Here are some screenshots from AOKP:
As you can see, even tho it is based on FXP kernel, Panorama Camera is working!
But it has a big bug:
It has no on-screen keyboard.
That's from my end, OP you can research this if you want.
EDIT: If you think the pictures are too big, tell me to resize them.

^^
the model number says it's Ray ???
that definitely needs fixing... ha ha ha
will try fixing keyboard soon

NO ONSCREEN KEYBOARD !!! AAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Mj

should be awesome once everything is fixed

For MK16a users who do not want to be branded as MK16i after flashing a custom ROM, here is an option. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1751048

is this rom going to get any update?

Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!

Since we're updating frequently, making manual changelogs ain't possible anymore...
And also take note that although I am involved in the development of this ROM, but I do not own the device, so I might not be able to answer your device specific questions...
Looks promising! Will keep an eye on it.

Rom looks cool, will try it later today. I've been on a flashing spree looking for the right rom for me so hopefully this will be it.
will this work with CMW recovery version 6.0.4.4??
I have not been able to install the updates. I keep getting an error message in recovery. Also why isn't this in the regular thread?
Sent from my Droid Razr Maxx HD
What regular thread? It is in the right section...
It could be caused by two reasons:
a) Gapps (/system/app/Provision.apk, /system/app/CalendarProvider.apk etc has unexpected contents.)
b) system files are modified (this includes flashing a custom kernel which replaces system files)
To solve:
1. Format /system (or else old gapps will be restored)
2. Flash full ROM
3. Flash OTA
4. Flash gapps from MoKee Centre
Future updates will be working...unless you are still using a custom kernel, where you must flash back the full ROM or restore the specific files if you know how...
Downloading and installing now.

Nice to see you doing something different after your amazing work on keeping SlimKat alive for a while in the Yuga community. I'll definitely test this out as I've never tried an Omni ROM-based ROM before.

Bluetooth not working
Been using this ROM since 2nd build was uploaded. Its fast and stable. After flashing the latest update my bluetooth stopped working. I installed new update and wiped cache. Reinstalling new build over did not do anything. I have not done a clean install yet using the latest build because I wanted to see if it maybe a bug or not. Thanks
This is my first the posting a logcat pls excuse me if I did something wrong. I tried to embed a pastebin window here but it didn't work.

This is Candy5. Built straight from SlimRom source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS.
We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM.We aim to add more features as this project progresses.
We have also come up with the Candy Sweetener Pack. This is an Aroma installer that is full of delicious treats.
Inspired by the CandyShop thread on XDA it has everything from glow dots to statusbar mods
I will open a thread soon with our new EvoMix Kernel done by Oliveer, SuperHanss and me...
This rom is built with it. This kernel have been improved a lot, faux sounds, kcal, f2fs, overclock to 1728mhz, underclock to 192mhz, simple GPU governor, voltage control, 11 CPU governors and 8 schedulers etc etc...and more to come!
Indeed its kexec hardboot patched so its MultiRom ready..

A slim-based rom is very welcomed for our beloved tab z. ?
Excellent @Alx31TLse
Very nice to See a New Rom
Still getting used to the SGP311 (coming from Nexus devices, which are way easier to customize), this ROM is impressive. Nice work.
Thx Bro
We will try to implement the OTA for our build server.
It's only a matter of days before we can provide you with OTA Xperia range

As always great work @Alx31TLse
Quick question, did you try building cm12 or Omni (android L) for the TabZ? Do we have support yet, I mean, is there anything buildable?
