[TOOL & HACK] unlock your SIM FOREVER (ICS & JB)

Hi guys, I understand that some of you are unhappy with this sim lock because you want to test the latest JB leak . so here i ve a solution for you.
DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!​
Precaution:
-* don't use voodoo app after using this mod or any other mod, (if you want use other mod restore your original efs file).
-** Before to update to a new build (like the coming stable JB) restore your original efs.
*, **, in the case you got the phone unlocked you can always use my mod to unlock it :good:
HOW TO UNLOCK
- First you need to backup your "EFS FILE" in safe place.
- you must be in unlocked stock firmware like BLG8 (using voodoo app + libsec-ril.so (mike1986 fix))
- unzip the attached zip "efs.zip"
- copy the files (.nv_core.bak, .nv_core.bak.md5) to your EFS file
- reboot and enjoy !!!
NOTE: applying this mod will not change your imei.
Backup & Copy & Past & Reboot ....easy
This MOD will remove the lock completely.
Don't tell me what i did because SAMSUNG ......is UNHAPPY

Is there a way to make stock look like iphone not just launcher but menus too

I just wonder if there is a way of modyfying the status bar and menus gallery contaxts messageing all to look like iphone paid or free apps dont mind thanks in advance im now on stocklitev8

Hey there, if you just want iPhone looks then I'd suggest that you try iLauncher or Espier Launcher from Play store.
If you're looking for an iPhone ROM then Love cry A5 is your best bet.
After first install, go to settings > Aa (Language option)> Select English. And Ta-da .... you are good to go.
Any other query feel free to ask.

since i asked i found a few ios roms on my phone so cant add a link but i found iosv4 and ios5 complete different roms i am on the one you sugested but apps some apps an the keybored have japanese/chinese language do you think one of the above ones would suit better thanks

Love cry was basically a Chinese rom that was ported. You can try the two mentioned above.

[Q] BBB 6 bluetooth doesnt work

ok i have a captivate with an unbrickable mod running baked blackbean 6. when i go to settings,wireless and networks, then when i click bluetooth the baked boot logo pops up ad stays there. if there a way i can fix this? if you need any info about the phone just ask. thanks

http://bakedrom.com/baked-downloads/ My guess is he found the rom here. However even though the captivate is shown as available for v6 there is no link for download. So he either downloaded it from elsewhere or downloaded the galaxy s version thinking it would work for captivate. Or maybe they had an active link previously.

Rom manager

I heard from a thread that using rom manager bricks this phone if you have a partitition and I'd bought the premium version before partitioning my sd card, just want to ask, is this true?

Go on CWM, its healthier for our Ace!

It has nothing to do with having a partition or not.
It bricks the phone anyways. Better remove that app, its dangerous if you don't know what functions of it can be used safely.

Mostly the motherboard i think, people reported that they had to get new a motherboard installed in order to unbrick it.

Hmm, that's confused me, I thought it would have broke it system wise. I know how to flash, root, etc, but I'm not exactly sure how they all work, but I thought that flashing just overwrit the system+os. So two questions, when you root/flash does that interact with the hardware in anyway and how?

Try flashing CWM from rom manager and you will see if and how it interacts

Rom manager ... flashes new recovery ... with wrong mounting points ... making your phone useless it will be like having the light switch of your kitchen in your bed room and your bed room light switch on your attic ... know what i mean? Nothing will work !! Since the phone will change the mp to points that dont exist on your phone.
Just flash cwm from stock recovery or from odin and you'll be ok

Hi SnowPluralism,
can u tell me how can i use odin to put my phone back "online". I have gt s5830 and i didn't know about that problem with rom manager and i end up using it, and my phone doesn't want to start properly

Now your phone is oficially dead.
There is nothing u can do. Take it to service center and play stupid like "i was playing or updating my phone and he dyed" dont speak of root cwm xda. And they'll fix u 4 free

I honestly don't think anyone will put any effort in porting a CM7 rom, as we already have CM10.1 working on our devices.
Maybe you can request for the modded apps and install them over a different base rom.
EDIT: I might do that as i have some free time, but i really have no idea if it's going to work. So no promises

Atleast make this from 10.1 version pls.....

Neither do I, I'm just testing stuff out

There was never a CM7 for this device so I wouldn't be able to compile CM7 and manually copy the necessary files over. If you find a CM10.1 version of the same thing I can do it for you.

Gave up, as com.android.phone stops working as soon as it boots.
Didn't had enough willpower to test with stock phone and another mix of apps.
The rest of the rom worked fine (except it looked like a crApple thing).
