Hello, I have new galaxy note from 1 week.
This is my 3rd android phone so I know the system
With my new note Gmail doesn't sync immediately with push system even if all is configured well.
I tried with stock gingerbread rom, now I have kingdroid 4.3 but same problem.
I tried to clear app data etc without result.
Anyone have an idea (please don't say to use k9 mail)
Nobody can help me?
First try to remove ur google account from settings-accounts then add it again,make sure that background data is enabled then do a sync to c it works or not,if stills not syncing check if u have any firewall or tool that blocks gmail or service sync as droidwall or so,also as a last resort u may try remove google account then add it again while using 3G not with WIFI,i am sure ur problem will be solved,

I use the Samsung Social Hub Premium 7.52 and have problems losing all my email once in a while. I can force a complete synchronisation of all my accounts and it returns but it is anoying. Can't find any pattern in it so i am clueless.
1) Do more people have this problem?
2) Is there a newer version included somewhere in a CSC file for JPM/JP6 or JPA?

social hub losing email and not good in editing words while i typing email
i have the same problem that everyone have it in samsung galaxy sii and the problems is :
1-losing email by saying (lost connection) or (your phone in air flight mode) or (losy connection with yahoo server but the connection will restore automatically but if the the problem persist contact yahoo)
2-blue pointer sucks that it supposed helping u to fix or edit some words when u type email by moving it to the word that u want to fix it but it too hard to move it to can fix it and always not appearing good by hiding 90% of it and thats not it easy to move it by ur finger.
3-when u open email on mobile then u sign on from computer thats u find emails as not reading and thats annoying

i cleared my cache 3 days back and now i found out that my facebook contacts are not syncing.....i deleted the fb account and again added when i try to sync it give me some error messages after few seconds
"Sync is currently experiencing problems .It'll be back shortly "

can you see your FB contacts in your phone book? if not, you'll need to add them again one by one. the same thing happened to my SGS this morning.

did you clear the cache of both SNS and SNS Account in the applications list?

I am running stock Samsung Froyo 2.2.1 and somehow, SNS status of my contacts stopped working. It does not show if I create a shortcut on desktop, hovewer it shows in the Dialer app. I tried to re-join facebook and phone contacts, re-enable facebook sync with the samsung app and also with facebook app, nothing helping. The only thing not tried is removing the Facebook sync account and add it again. Any suggestions?
that wont help either im having the same problem i guess its messed up but i tried removing the account & adding it again still did nothing hope this answers ur question

I am having the same issue. The get friends screen simply says "No SNS accounts". This is a samsung galaxy s. I have a facebook account setup... On Android 2.1 I used to be able to select who to sync. I am now on 2.2.1

I had heard Facebook and Google having a falling out and Google disabling sync but I thought it would only affect official 2.3 firmwares. Might be a corporate rather than a phone issue

i sighed up a new gmail email accout i would like to use , it is possible to transfer my apps as i have purchased apps ect on my current gmail acocut.
basically i want everything as it is now , only with a new gmail email address.
possible ?

so ???? will that save all my saved apps , whats the process to change my primary gmail to another gmail account ? ,
awnser was verry vauge .
you will have to root and back up all your apps with titanium backup, any app that requires an email address check(meaning it wont work without the email that purchased it) wont work but i dont think there are that many that do that..
then you will have to do a factory reset, set up your new email reroot and then restore apps....
What if you added a second Google account onto your phone with your new address and then just stopped synching the email, calendar, etc from the old one?

Any purchased apps are tied to your gmail account.
I don't know how to move that to a new account, or if it is even possible.
This is probably a question that needs to go to a broader audience than just captivate users, if not straight to Google's support forum.

Anyone else having problems to sync the Exchange Calendar in build 10 from teamhacksung?
Mail sync and contacs sync works as it should and I also believe that the calendar actually is syncing since there are no sync errors.
The problem is that in the calendar app you can't see the Exchange Calendar and it will not show any data.
If someone knows about a fix, please tell me.
And someone who can make a post in the developer thread of teamhacksung please ask them to add this too the known nproblems list of the OP since I'm not the only one having this problem.

I had the same problem in ICS Onecosmic beta 2. There is actually a known ICS (including Galaxy Nexus) bug with calendar exchange syncing.
To make it work (for me atleast)
1. remove the whole exchange account
2. Turn on auto-syncing across your phone.
3. add back your exchange account, but this time make sure on the initial account setup that you select an auto syncing interval (anything except never). I used every hour.
4. Wait a while and it should show up in calendar (it did for me)

I've the same problem with htc hd2. android ics calendar don't see with exchange.
exchange mail and contact work well. the app don't see the exchange calendar to syncronize. i try to recreate account. don't work.
"older" version of android work well. (but i've htc sense).
may be the problem is that htc calendar support exchange?
but future release come with sense or the develop is closed?

Workaround worked for me as well on LG Optimus 2X ICS 4.0.3, Google Apps 20120215.
Indeed initially I had created my Exchange account with a "never" autosync interval.
Recreating it with Autosync interval on "Push" solved the issue.

I had the same problem.
Installing the gapps fixer via the SD card solved it.
I do have the same problem al syncs in exchange except the calendar.
I’m using a SG2 and liting rom 4.03.
i did the reinstall as above but it didn’t work
i also did the gapps fix In ClockworkMod

I have exactly the same problem as haka12.
Running Latest Lightening Rom on SGS2 I9100 and everything syncs fine with exchange except the calendar.
I have tried removing the exchange account and deleting the calendar cache etc. but the problem still persists. When you look in Sync settings it shows 'Sync Contacts' and 'Sync Email' as usual, however instead of showing 'Sync Calendar' it shows 'Sync com.android.calendar...' etc. Weird.
Any ideas gratefully received!
