[Q] How to delete clipboard content. - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have tried to download the app from the play store but nothing works.
Theres several items stored in my clipboard and i just cant seem to find a way to delete the items,
Several attempts at google and no prevail aswell.

On S Memo there is an icon below the Save button. This serves to add a photo, but we have the option to add a note. If we click, is a list of all the copied items, of course we can delete them taking pushed on the 'photo' and selecting the option to delete; also ther is an app for the same thing download here ;https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.eraser&feature=search_result.....

Open Polaris office and click on the '+' sign now click on the clipboard icon and delete them as u want

Camera Folder -> Picasa

Hello All -
Is there a way to have the default camera folder auto-sync to Picasa as an album?
Thanks
That would be great. I don't know of any that does it with picasa, although, photoshop.com mobile (search market) does it with it's own account system.
Auto sync... not that I know if... but I think if you long press on the album and choose 'share' you have the option to send it to picasa.
Tried the share option but that doesn't keep them in sync. If I wanted to add more later it would duplicate photos.
Too bad. That would be killer.
It's not a sync, but there is an app called "Picasa Tool" which makes uploading them pretty simple. It shows thumbnails of your images, which you can filter by the last 2, 7, 30 or "all" days, with a little upload button next to them. Uploads go to a queue so you can scroll through and tap as many as you want. After they're uploaded, the upload button turns into a "re-upload" button and, from what I can tell, re-ups overwrite the old ones so there are no duplicates.

[Q] How do I set an image for a contact?

I copied some of my own low res photos/images JPEGs from my PC to the phone.
Now I want to use these as the image for some of my contacts. However, when I go to edit a contact and select an images, these images do not appear in the list.
I only get a selection from "Camera, bluetooth, and Images" folders. But they do not appear even if I physically move the files to those folders.
If I view the images the option to "set as..." disappears?
Do they need to be a special size, format etc... to be valid?
Thanks.
I use gmail and the contact pictures are sync from there. I put the pictures in my gmail account(make that in my pc offcorse) and when i sync gmail the pictures appears in my phone contact

Ah, okay, I'll give that a go. Thanks.
Doh! Figured it out. Was because I had Rescan Media app installed and disabled media scan on start up - tip to self: great app but remember to rescan after copying across media!
Thanks.

Any way to attach any type of file through the stock E-Mail app?

The file picker dialog the stock E-Mail app uses is different from the G-Mail one. The G-mail one defaults to only photos, videos, etc too.... but gives you the option of enabling other apps to hook into it (such as file managers) so I can attach any type of file from anywhere on my device.
.... the stock (and I assume made by HTC) E-Mail app for anything that is not a g-mail account.... does not. It only allows Photos, Videos, Documents, Etc. There is a "File" option if you scroll to the bottom..... but this is practically the same thing as the above options, as it only lists recent files (only types it understands) or files sorted by type, etc. It doesn't let me browse the file system.
Is there any way to either choose any file I want, or add a file manager to the list, without basically downloading a different e-mail app?
Download and install the stock Android (AOSP) email app from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1965468

Actually deleting photos from Picasa permanently... HOW?

People are fooled by the numerous videos on Youtube on how to remove those annoying Picasa photos from being seen on your device. But all those videos show the exact same instructions which only remove the photos from syncing to that device. It does not delete them. Once you buy a new phone, those photos will show up again.
I would like to know where they are coming from. and delete them permanently.
All photos backed up from your phone are in Google+ Photos. If you delete them there it will ask you if you want to delete the photo everywhere.

Use an app called Picasa Tools. From there you can change the albums to Hangouts. Select and delete the pictures you want.
I'm guessing that any Picasa gallery app would work?
There are a few ways to delete from Picasa.
1) open google photos. delete from there. It will warn you that it will delete pictures even off of your device, however.
also remember to open the side menu and empty the trash, they don't get deleted immediately.
2)go to your google + photos on an actual computer. you can delete them through there without worrying about them being deleted from your phone. However, if you have auto backup on, it'll just reup them again anyways.
to change what gets uploaded, open the side menu in google photos, go down to "on device" and uncheck(disable the cloud icon) the folders you don't want backed up. if you don't want any backing up, make sure you turn off the photo syncing in your google account settings on your phone. (settings - accounts - google - *your account* - uncheck Sync Google + Photos) Then clear the cache on your gallery app and reload the app, it'll all be gone.
If they keep reappearing try this: Get on a desktop computer > sign into google account > go to picasaweb.google.com/lh/myphotos?noredirect=1 and delete the actual photos at the source.
It will give a huge list of the places that the photo is being deleted from! Caution: this deletes the photos from EVERYWHERE including blogger posts, etc

How to eradicate picasa?

I have picasa web albums set to never sync through gallery and settings>accounts, Google photos is removed, drive set to never sync photos, and still when an app wants me to upload a picture my old picasa photos fill up the selection screen. Is there a way I can disable that or is it just a curse of android?

Iv a weird thing going on with picasa. It shows on my home screen as picasa but when I check out the app info from within app management it shows as Google+ and it shows the same data as cache etc for it.
The weird thing is I'm pretty sure I disabled or hid picasa but after stock root it popped back up on my unhidden apps list. Any ideas?

first in settings, check for the apps and disable the ones you dont want... it will say disabled to the right of it.
second, i have been using an app from the playstore called nobloat free version and then i disable the bloat this way also...
but i acutally go to the system/app and system/priv-app and delete the unnecessary files (bloat ware or apps that I can get from the playstore, cause i have on TB or MyBackup, then for the missing or remainder of the files I find out with nobloat the other file names and then delete the files also.
This way I make a nice clean Stock Debloated Version with TWRP. and save that for when ever I want to start clean..
There's an easy way to disable through settings but I forgot and have been too lazy to look it up again. You should be able to find with a little Google investigating. When you find it, please share with the rest of us lazy bums.
