Are there any applications that can save/backup the market links for all my installed applications? This would be very handy when flashing!
I don't wish to backup the apps themselves, just the market links, so that when I flash, I can install the apps one by one from market. This way, I know I get a fresh install and the newest updates.
In advance, thanks!

Do you know that it has said function? I tried it once and it didn't work, but maybe I did something wrong.

I have just re downloaded all my apps using AppBrain as usual .
Might need to make a new list if you have updated your phone . But thats as simple as using old list and click on install button .
Alternative is to use root explorer and copy the APKs to your computer .

Use AppMonster Pro. It will save your apps/market links to SD Card.

Not the same kind of "image" file. Do a google search on "android image extract" or "android rom image extract"
There's tools out there for it.

ACCESS_VIOLATION = probably means you need to run it in admin mode

I'm using a "paid version" of it. And it works on gingerbread. All I'm going to say is search 4shared.com for let's golf 2 v3.0.3
It's the only version that will work on thunderbolt..

Well that is one way to do it although that would be pirating.
I will post the .apk in a few minutes.

Edit: Seems that the file may be encrypted possibly as I also got the access violated error.

The way I got Let's golf 2 back on my rooted bolt was to backup my current rom then flash jcase's ota then titanium backup let's golf on jcase's ota then wipe and restore my current rom then use titanium backup to restore let's golf.
I did that and now I have it for good.
Hope this helps.
i pmmed jcase and he said that it's a ext3 and to not use unyaffs, what does that mean?

google it. if it were a tough question to answer, i would just say it. your answer will come in 10 seconds after you do. just a hint, you have to mount it in linux (or there's ways on windows with 3rd party apps)
I paid for it too back when on release day. It would never restore after I changed roms. Never got much of a chance to play it.

If it's that simple wouldn't it have been just as easy to just answer his question?
I just googled it and I'm still not sure what it means.
If you are talking about the golf game, I have it installed and it runs excellent.

Because I think it's better to teach him some information than just hand it to him? I've been contributing to the thread for a few posts trying to help them out. I didn't just jump on anyone to just look it up without some guidance or additional info. That and maybe I dont want to go through the steps of download the original image of the phone, extract it myself and post it here? I don't mind helping but doing that takes way more time than typing out stuff I know off the top of my head. However, if you have the game, that's what they want so feel free to post it for them.
I'm not sure what you googled...but on the first page of typing ext3 it says "How to read Ext3/Ext4 linux partition from windows 7 | Ubuntu Geek." How hard is that? Anways, ext3 is to linux as fat32 or ntfs is to windows or UDF is to a dvd/cd (they're file systems). Just find a program that extracts or mounts it or look up how to mount it directly on linux.
If you want me to find an article for you. That's a bit much since it's the difference between needing help and information and just not wanting to type a keyword into a search engine. There's plenty of tools and information out there.
There are a few ROMs out there that still have the apk for Let's Golf 2 in them.
Here is a deodexed ROM that has the apk inside.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1030608
All I did to get it on my TB was to put the apk on my SD card and install it.

just resorted to this, wanted to stay away from pirated apps but i already purchased the game so **** it right? it was way to much work downloading unyaffs then finding out it was an EXT3 and then downloading a bunch of bull**** that didn't yield any results
This thread is all about root apps. The ones I will post here are the ones that I have tried and are safe. Kindly post some other root apps if I miss some.
First things first, at the very first moment you have rooted ur phone, well you might want to check if its properly rooted. You don't want to have a bricked phone, right? Well the app I used is Root Checker by joeykrim. Here is the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joeykrim.rootcheck&feature=search_result
Second is Titanium Backup. It does exactly what the name says. Here is the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup&feature=search_result
Third is Root Explorer. It accesses the whole of the whole of the phone's system. Here is the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.rootexplorer&feature=search_result
Fourth is SetCpu. It does what the name says. This is vey great for those who want to speed up their phone, but I have to warn you that this might brick your phone. This is the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mhuang.overclocking&feature=search_result
Fifth is Font Installer. It shows the list of fonts for android, as well as installs them as default font. This is the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.font.installer&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5qcnVtbXkuZm9udC5pbnN0YWxsZXIiXQ..
Last but not the least is Rom Toolbox, both Lite and Pro. It packs some of the most important apps for root users. This is the lite version https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.liberty.toolbox&feature=search_result
And this it for the pro version https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.liberty.toolboxpro&feature=search_result
I hope I helped you! Please hit the thanks button if you appreciated my thread! Thanks in advance You can post your best root apps here too!

I must remove my samsung account because I lost my code words - my note is rooted - can it be done with titanium or how ?
THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, you could probably do it that way. I'd factory reset and either not set it up or make new passwords and write them down.
This should be in Q&A not android development.
Yes I know a reset will be good but this is what I wanna avoid...

You can remove the samsung account infomration with titanium backup. I have all of the samsung account/software uninstalled from mine. I am not sure how this could be affected since you are alreadddy signed in. Can you go into Setting>Accounts and signout of the Samsung account,,,, before you uninstall all of the connected apps?
After that go look at the Lag fix / frozen apps thread and there is a list of all of the samsung apps you can uninstall.

Hello! I'm new to the site and could use abit of assistance. I'm using a Rooted T-Mobile Galaxy S6 Model Number: SM-G920T. I deleted my Themes Store using a Root Uninstall App, and am now in need of said app, but all my attempts to restore the app failed and the app is nowhere to be found on Google Play Store. Any help would be appreciated, thank you. -Daniel

Sadly I don't, Is there a link to download the specific apps for my device or am I out of luck? Thank you so much for helping me! *Sorry if I didn't reply right, I'm still a noob. XD*
Download the apk at the below link. Then, install Titanium backup and make it habitual to back your apps and data up. Once your apps and settings are currwnt then make a recovery backup as well.
