i can help you a lot please read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1321268
there are many threads here in Xda where users have written guides and tutorials to help new members. My advice would be to search and read everything concerning Flashing Roms because this will help you in understanding how NOT to brick your phone. If you don't understand, ask questions on the relevant thread so that members can help you.
Check these threads for a start and use the search tool for more infos :

very wrong forum in fact, the general rule is "if you didn't create it, it does not belong to development",
use the warning sign icon in top right-corner of your original post to report and ask the mods to move the thread to q&a forum
Try rocket rom, is sooooooo original. It's the only 4.03
Thread moved and closed
Questions never belong in General.
You've been given the answers you need, do your own research and study before flashing anything.

Which ROM is the BEST for HD you have tried ratings fro 1.to.10 ---- 1 for least and 10 for the best ......
Guess what, this topic will be closed and you will receive a warning letter for your "fantastic" question
What harry_dinh is saying is your question is an opinionated question which under forum rules is forbidden.
Only advice I can give you, and everyone would agree, is to try each rom yourself and make your own conclusions. As a start you could also read this thread.....but as I said, only results worth reading are your own. So test each rom you fancy and stick with the one you like most!!
Sorry please tell me how to delet the thread

yes, because that's all there is to say, honestly
when you read them and still have problems post in the relevant thread but never open a new one just because you are (sry for beeing honest) too lazy to check/search/read on your own
As stated above and forum rules, please read the wiki, forum stickies and most importantly search before creating new threads. I understand people need answers urgently, but try and abide by the forum rules
@ all senior members. Please try and be patient with all members, after all you were once a novice yourself

Well, how can I say that without being too rude....
Firstly, you're in the wrong section, there's a Galaxy S Q&A (for Questions and Answers) section...
Secondly, there is a search fuction on this forum, which is nice because you can see the questions already asked, and answered, and not "polluting" the forum with "always-same-and-same-questions"...
And finally, here is an instructive link for you, I think you must check it before doing anything : How to begin !
does any one know how to install the new update that was released on 10/8/11 here is the website http://droidangel.blogspot.com/2011/10/i897uckj2-at-samsung-captivate-android.html need help please and thank you or if there is and other thread can you post a link to it here
this is NOT the questions and answers section.
GO TRY AGAIN!

There are instructions everywhere on how to flash it. Also, thats an old version, the new KJ3 released today
step 1. dont post questions in dev forum
step 2. ???
step 3. profit
I'll get straight to the point....
Despite stickys and forum announcements most of us are still finding ourselves becoming terribly, terribly vexed at the amount of [Q]'s cluttering the dev section...
Therefore, from now on, if you do not follow the rules outlined below, you will be infracted. Break them again and you may find yourself unable to post anything at all on any forum!!
[Q]Surely thats a bit harsh aint it??
[A]Not really....
We've tried to be nice about it but that clearly doesnt work.
If you cannot read and abide by the simple rules in this sticky then I dont know how you're going to manage to hack your device without running into trouble.
The Dev section is NOT for asking questions.....
The Dev section is NOT for general topics..........
All threads posted MUST be prefixed with a description of the thread, [ROM] / [Kernel] etc etc.....*
*(Not planning on being particuarly strict on this. You guys (the devs), know how to title a thread.... just a pointer for new devs.)
Basically, unless your thread is to actually release something or discuss something of a very technical and n00b unfriendly nature, it doesnt belong here!
Pretty simple really.....
If you see something that shouldnt be here then PM me....
I will try to check in as reguarly as I can but I have a few sections to keep an eye on and believe it or not, a life outside XDA
Yes thats right, there is life outside XDA

This is a direct quote from the sticky at the top of this forum. Read around before you post. This would have been received much better in the Q&A Forum. Because its a question. And nowhere close to a development.
Thread locked. xCRZYx, post your question in the Question and Answer forum. This is development only.
Hi,
why not asking questions on ROM developer forums before ask 10 general questions?
I want just ask a questions to developer of used ROMs on my device.
Best regards.

Please read this for a detailed answer . To be precise such questions may already have been addressed in other forums and you are advised to use the search engine first or post about it in your device Q&A forum.

But it should be no problem, you can read over some threads, maybe write some stuff and then you have 10posts and you can posts everywhere, in ROM Developer Forums, too !!!
First time i registered here i was a little bit confused about it, but like xsenman said, the XDA-Mods will prevent the forum from spam and while reading about the whole forum/portal you learn about the rules ...

Hi again,
I Understanding you. But I already searched solutions for my problem on relevant forum but not found. Usually ROM developers are very busy and not replied the private messages. Absolute solution, ask questions on relevant forum. but restricted
due to forum rules. Thanks for everything.
Best Regards.

what you can do is post about your problem ( start new thread with Title referring to ROM Name) in your device Q&A forum and use mention @developersname, such that he will be advised about it and he or any of the ROM users will respond to it. :fingers-crossed:

xsenman`s idea is good ...start a new thread in Q&A forum and i`m sure when you menationed the dev you will get an answer!!!
