Hey there everyone,
need help with my Milestone camera.
Since I update to the latest version of Cyanogen I have a repeating problem.
After taking the first shot with the camera (which comes o.k) the camera loses the focus and from this moment and on cant get focus and I stuck with blurry images.
I tried different photo apps - didnt work
tried different rom (Miui - same problem - one shot then it doesnt work propery)
Please, I just had a baby and must take photos of her!!!!!!!!!

I don't update my CM6 Mod cos I face lots of problems but I don't check the camera/video. Abt the bugs I think need to check with the developer.
I've tested a few roms and I prefer CM6 0.05 w/o the update.

Steps of installation:
1. Full wipe (except for those who r coming frm previous mokee os version - just wipe dalvik & cache)

Let wait for whyzee to fix the headset, or maybe can try the previous patch bcoz this rom also has been developed base on the official one.

i decided to release this alpha 2 although camera still partially work. for this time being, u can use hdr camera plus (included) to shoot, although the screen is black u can still capture photo.
what working great in this version:
- call & messaging
- data (2g, 3g, 3.5g)
- wifi
- bluetooth
- flashlight led (similar with torch in miui but it has dual torch, one using camera, one using front led screen - to make this work i hijack ledlights.mx.so frm meizu mx rom & change it to ledlights.fb0.so)
this rom come with low sound by default but its not a bug, to change it u need to go to sound setting & increase it. for call volume u need to set it with x5 setting app included in this rom, maximum call volume is 200, but just make it around 170-180. x5 setting also allow u to overclock yr cpu & choose yr governor.
steps for rom installation:
1. do a full wipe
2. flash the rom (download here: http://www.4shared.com/zip/H9UEUvuk/mokee_32_qzsu_2.html)
3. flash kernel patch (download here: http://www.4shared.com/zip/8REnd06V/UC-Kernel_v5_MIUI_11111_signed.html)

I managed to port this rom to our device & proud to say this is the very 1st time i successfully ported rom frm huawei ideos x5 u8800 WITH RADIO SIGNAL! yes... ril is functioning, this is y i put the dev stage as alpha. Bluetooth also working, i'll fix wifi later.

p/s 2: now i get a problem with my phone, my power button is jammed. if u guys think i need spare hp for my porting works pls donate, bcoz i dont want to port miui & cm roms, i want to bring something different! somemore, we already hv numbers of miui & cm devs here

I'll do it today, let me settle my office work first, in fact, im now trying to port dianxin os - ics to our device frm desire s, they manage to boot it up in their device using cm9 kernel

5. No File explorer
6. Little bit laggy

I know but there is a root explorer in the rom, in chinese i will change it once this rom is working

my power button jammed... anyway to fix it? luckily i still can go to cwm by pressing volume+ & volume-. i try to change all framework & app files with dianxin os for moto defy files, but still no signal, with this changes, transition look smoother.
ohhh... that baseband switcher FC, cannot use
once again, anyway to fix the power button issue?

6. flash google patch
7. reboot system

i add spirit fm radio with its library file in this rom, u can test. my country is not in the preset list.
i/o scheduler (deadline) is seems like not really compatible for our device, some apps function, such as selecting certain themes may reboot yr phone, to stabilize it, just go to x5 setting (included) & change to cfq, so far its working great!
ALL MAJOR FUNCTIONS ARE WORKING.
NO IN-CALL VOLUME ISSUE.

spirit fm radio that i put in the rom did not appear on the screen, so i install the apk manually, i can confirm u its working first time headset is functioning, to hear the radio, also as an antenna.

its not happen to me, im using it now, except the front camera 90。yes

1) Wifi did not connect properly ( it would connect once and then disconnect after few seconds).
2) After switching on the WIFI the phone switches off automatically and you will have to remove the battery to switch it on again.
3) The keyboard was in chines and sometimes even that would not pop out when i tried typing.
4) Front camera problem has already been mentioned.
I was initially excited to try this one but with the above problems its impossible to use it. Switching back to CacingKalung 2.3.7. i feel thats the most stable ROM so far. Any ways still appreciate your effort in porting another ROM. thanks.

i hv tested wifi several times b4 uploading, i know its working. i hv told abt changing i/o scheduler to avoid hp rebooting.
and u hv choice to use another keyboard frm market if u too rigid with chinese alphabets. im not chinese but i know the option to use english keyboard, its a chinese button beside the enter key, bottom right.
i hv ported many chinese android roms, keyboard never gv me problems

dude if you are over 2.3.5 stock then it not for you, its base on 2.6.32.9 kernel ...

go to recovery SDE and Remove android kernel if you have already installed any official firmware !
go to Flash kernel & Initramfs and copy here zImage and initramfs.cpio.lzo from (Stock_Root_4.0.25)
Ok ! ... & wait to boot !
* just put your favorite scripts in init.d directory , and reboot your device !
( no need extra settings ...my Rom takes care of them to make proper settings ! )
( ..also, keep in mind what scripts you use .... the stock busybox has limited applets !!! )

Hi, plse just confirm i have do the good step (all work fine for me, i just want confirm all)
I have downgrade to 4.0.6, after temp root and install sde, i've install again the 4.0.6. After i installed the 4.0.7 (delete the kernel) with root and 4.0.24 with root too.
And now the 4.0.25
Is that the correct step?!

beter for you make a clean install and reinstall all !!
In your situation i tried uninstall sde,.. format all and install the 4.0.6 official and do all step again (root, sde..)
in other words i tried a clean install!
i tested your methode not work update failed (221) , my tablet is dead?
I'm going crazy I'm super archos hang on 4.0.25 and without SDE, I want to break the tablet in half so it makes me going crazy
So I managed to install j SDE via the old method, HE WAS time I lost patience.
I should be able to install the 4.0.25 root surdru but it does not always tells me why I can not go back to the old firmware.

Decided today to root and install SDE my new Archos g9 8gb and install this rooted rom, unfortunately as I had applied the standard 4.0.25 firmware there was an error when trying to install the SDE.
I tried returning to stock 4.0.7 but that now reports it is too old for my rom.
Looks like Ill be staying on the standard rom for some time yet lol

Hi!

So I managed to install j SDE via the old method, HE WAS time I lost patience.
I should be able to install the 4.0.25 root surdru but it does not always tells me why I can not go back to the old firmware.

( For Official Firmware you are not allowed to downgrade firmware ! On root version you can install any firmware you want ! )

I had similar problems with some applications google owner, and I resolved by reinstalling ! :good:
( also for full compatibility please , first use English to see if is there some issue ! )
The best Governor for our tablet seems to be hotplug, is the only one who knows how to manage both processor cores !

The problem was error 221 or 223 depending on where I was and what I was doing.. basically::
On a NON rooted Archos 8gb 101 I updated to the official 4.0.25 (which worked) and then I wanted to install SDE / Root.
I was unable to do either using the newest ( link here ) method but the OLD method ( link here ) worked, that then allowed me to install SDE and then a custom rom.
On a side note: Can anything be done to improve the audio volume? When I watch a movie I have to use earphones as the speaker volume is too low?

just litle question.
Imagine now i run 4.0.25 root from surdu ... tomorrow i want restore all to the latest official firmware ..
Just need delete sde menu
format all and put the file to update?! and voila.. It's easy like that?!
I dont want comeback.. i like too much this version and rooted better still !!

hi friends . i use android 4.3 on my X.SP and i see that Touch Problem ( like on Table ) and Screen Problem (sometimes it doesnt on correct ) Are FIXED !! but android 4.3 has many many BUG ... in 4.1 my device was very fast !! but in 4.3 my rom have lag in anything , like Application or setting ! for example i touch the setting >>>> setting start runnig >>> and after 1 or 2 second setting are Visible to me !! in 4.1 i never had problems like this !! or this : im in Total Commander ! i touch home screen button but i go to home screen after 1 or 2 second not exactly when i press home button so i want back to 4.1 ! but i dont want the Touch and Screen problem any more (( so i have a question for XDA developer ! can you find bugfix for screen and touch in android 4.3 and port for 4.1 ??? it is very necessary trust me
