No....just must do next-connect to your androidAP network and wait for 45s-1min and you will get internet access..its not a bug or something like that

I just flashed Cyanogen mod v7.2.0 into my OB.
Well, after restarting setting up and rebooting into recovery installing gapps zip booting back to CM, my WIFI IS DEAD!!!!! NOOO
Description: Connecting... Disconnected. Connecting... REPEAT ****.
FIXED.. SHIFT THIS THREAD IT IS NOW A FIX.
NOTE THAT YOU ARE FIXING THIS WITH A ROOT EXPLORER(NOT a COMPUTER)
Steps:
1) Head to /system/etc/wifi/nvram.txt (Notice that you will see a wifi mac Address. COPY IT.)
2) Head to /data/misc/wifi/config
Open it up and look for the 00:00:00:00 mac address (This is the bug.) (REPLACE IT WITH THE ADDRESS OBTAINED from step one.)
REBOOT
BOOMSHAKALA DONE!!!
Thank me

Delete apk
Make it a system app
Change properties
If its still not working, reflash
I am a potato, problem?
It seems you flashed a modified mms.apk which wasnt meant for your baseband.
Thanks all of you solved

Which ROM you are using?
I had this problem on SuperNexus Build 4, I flashed build 3, problem gone. Wipe cache / factory reset from CWM before and after installing ROM

I have a problem with the Fly-On Mod on CyanogenMod 7.2 (Unofficial lastest nightly - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2271153). I'm getting a bootloop. My device just stays at A N D R O I D title at the center. I'm not getting this problem on stock 2.3.6 or CM10, but I want to use CM7.2. Help!
At first the device doesn't boot. Just take out your battery & reboot. It'll be fine.
