I have a note on 2.3.6 unrooted with touchwhiz. Whenever I exit from a game Or app to Tue desktop screen. The screen will appear without the icons. The icons appear only after 3-5 secs of lag.
Any solution for this?

This is the launcher refreshing, chances are the game uses so much ram that some things have to close to free up that ram. Try using some sort of script to lock the launcher in memory something like supercharger script, it requires root access

Check for backgrounds apps before playing games and clear memeory

Does anyone have experimented that the Droid 3 sometimes get a lag to load the apps in the app drawer or the widgets in the home screen? Why is that, it supposed that is dual core.

The stock launcher sucks. Use launcher pro, adw, or go

I get lag too. More with more widgets. Less with less.
Having more widgets is gonna increase lag no matter what phone

The problem is the low ram, the home screen is low on priority so it gets removed from ram whenever an intensive application is loaded.
I believe.

Is this possible? I don't want to use GO launcher EX. And organizing apps on the home screen is hard and annoying. That's why i want them in the app drawer. If there isn't a way to do it in the app drawer maybe there is a way to easily organize folders on the home screen maybe?
U can make folders on homescreen
If my post helped, don't mind hitting THANKS
Won't Apex Launcher do that?

I don't want them on the hone screen because its too fiddly. I want them in the app drawer or I want an app that can make it so that I can easily put them on the home scree. I HAVE ABOUT 200 APPS!
With Apex you can just drag and drop to create folders, so you can have as many as you have space for on the home screen. You can even create them in the tray.
Not sure that helps though ;o)

Anyone got any ideas where to start looking at how the App drawer is sorted now we have root?
The only thing I hate about this phone, is the way it arranges the Apps, with system ones at the front and downloaded ones after.
I want them all alphabetical, but I don't want to spend ages moving them by hand...
I just switched to Apex launcher. Now with root, it can also move widgts from the drawer, and it sorts alphabetically by default. Don't know if this can also be achieved with the stock launcher, but i don't see that much advantages in stock either.
Yeah I would switch to nova launcher, but I want the weather widget

Yeah the Launcher from LG is crap. Just install the Jellybean Launcher from the market it rocks and its so much faster.
I really like the LG Launcher, for everything BUT the app sorting.
Does anyone know how I can remove the shadow behind the application icons?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
It depends on your launcher I think. With that said, not many launcher has the shadow effect as an option. Launcher 7 doesn't have shadow if I remember correctly, but that's a bit extreme.
I flashed the Beta 6 by elitemovil.
It is a stock rom port of the nexus.
So i think i have to install an other launcher. But THX for your fast answer.

Sometimes after playing a game, when I return to the homescreen the size of the app icons are smaller. It needs to reboot to get them right. See the pics in the attachment and you'll see what I'm talking about. What could be the issue of this?

Happens to me in app drawer. Entire drawer turns into smaller grid.
Usually closing app drawer helps
