Here is a ROM I made for my personal use. Thought I would share it with the community. Please no OTA's and Bashing will personally be reported to XDA staff. This has some png's used from epic blue theme. I take no credit for those.

Thanks Tory and Team Inferno! Love the rom, best boot animation on the vib, hands down. Also love the theming. Runs great! I think when the JB craze slows down this rom will get more attention. Thanks again.
P.s. you have come a long way from theming w/Nick.

I cant take screenshot's as i no longer have the device. If someone could post so i will add then to the op.

New wallpaper in third post enjoy. Let me know what you think?

Wow, best looking rom for the Vibe. So far great performance. Thanks a bunch.
Just one simple question. In other roms it was easy to find the on/off for the persistent google search widget. Is that gone in this rom or can I get rid of it. I think I check all the menus??

I was told to make a new thread for the port. So if you have downloaded mine in the other thread, there is no need to download this one. They are the same.
I will not be supporting this build so if you would like to take it over, Go ahead but please give credit.
Thanks,

THANKS to XxXViRuSXxX for helping me along the way.
I think the best way to go about this is through a google code collaboration effort, like myn suggested. That way nobody would have to "maintain" a rom per-say.
I don't think very many others have taken interest in this idea, however.

Camera is broken, force closes on soundset and mobile network settings. Also, a big battery hog.
Other than that, incubus produced a damn good port.
I did not experience the same battery issue. I posted some results on the original thread. I also flashed Lou's #7 kernal on it.
I like the idea of a collaborative project. Do everything at the code level and that way there's a checks and balance system. We would have a community build with solid code versus a string of roms based off incubus' initial port that may be bubble gummed and barbed wired with hacks and work arounds. A sense build like the way cyanogen and team douche go about it. I say we poll it and solicite some of our most talented Sense devs to head it up.

I'm not the "most talented sense dev", but I'd be willing to contribute and commit what I can. I do agree, though, we need some more interest in this.
incubus and myn are already doing something similar with Warm Z, and it seems to be working well.
I would be willing to contribute as well. I was just saying. "Most talented" for those who would verify and approve changes etc.

Gotcha, that's smart. I'm shooting myn a PM now, and I believe someone in the Evo thread is going to create a subversion project, if myn doesn't get that far.
edit: Looks like myn set up a project already. https://code.google.com/p/incredible-s-united-base/
To anyone wanting to get involved:
myn said:
Okay. The svn repo is up.
https://code.google.com/p/incredible-s-united-base/
For the folks who want to contribute, please PM me your gmail/google email address and I will add you. Please let me know its for the Inc S. I set up another one for the Honeycomb build today so I want to make sure which is which
Also here is an outstanding tutorial on using TotoiseSVN with code.google.com.
http://mzaher.wordpress.com/2009/03/02/how-to-use-svn-with-google-code/
The latest version of the AndroidKitchen now will ignore source management repository directories (.cvs, .svn, .git) so I recommend fetching this repository into a WORKING_XXX directory within the kitchen. The .svn directories will automatically be removed when you do a Build (option 99).
If one of you have a Linux hosting provider with shell and cron access we can also set up a cronjob to create nightly releases automating this for us.
onicrom had written a script for me to generate these for my Warm Z nightlies that we can reuse, assuming we have a host.
Let me know if you have questions.

Yeah, unless you change it to an edify script.

[20-Dec-11] XDA Toolbar for Chrome v1.7

The XDA Toolbar Chrome Extension has now been published on the Chrome Web Store.
Features
Hide signatures, either all, none, or user-by-user.
Toggle thread posts full size or minimal.
Limit image size to 200x200, 300x300 or 400x400 or custom a amount of pixels max (can then be toggled original and reduced).
Shrink/expand toolbar to keep it out of the way of normal activities.
Please post any feedback, requests, questions or bug reports and I'll get back to you.
Please Note: The current extension only works on the XDA 2010 scheme. Making it work for XDA Classic is one of the things to do in the future.

Future Plans
Convert and test in Firefox, as per the previous version.
Add a "go to top" button to take you to the top of the forum or thread.
Add an optional confirmation to the thanks button for those of us who sometimes click it when we mean to click the quote button!
Add an option so you can see who's signatures you are hiding and be able to stop hiding without having to find a post.
Add an option to automatically pad posts to make them tall enough for the info box on the left (some flags end up in the post below, with or without signatures).
Add an option to show "basic" stripped-down posts.
Add a bookmarks menu so that you can bookmark forums and threads in the toolbar rather than your browser.
SigToggle Users
Users who have the previous "Signature Toggle" extension installed, please uninstall it before using the XDA Toolbar as the two will conflict. You can do this by going to tools, extensions and removing the old version.
Unfortunately, in an effort to future-proof the settings made with the toolbar the old settings are now incompatible, so you will now see any signatures that you had previously hidden. This will not happen with future versions.
Known issues
Youtube vids are still sitting over the toolbar sometimes.
None of the updates that the toolbar performs take place after replying to a thread.
Changelog
v1.7
Added "Jump to top of page" button.
Added hints to toolbar buttons.
v1.6
Fixed issue where signature options were not persisting.
v1.5
Added custom image size for people who don't like the default 200, 300, 400 options.
Added some Christmas decoration that can be toggled on and off.
v1.4
Made the image resize button only appear when the mouse is over the image.
Fixed issue where signatures weren't hidden if there are attachments in the post.
v1.3
Added toggle toolbar button.
v1.1.5
Converted to toolbar.
Added hide/display all signatures, as well as toggle selected.
Hidden signatures are indicated next to user name.
Added thread options - minimize all posts, maximize all posts, maximum image size (200, 300, 400px or original size).
Small images can be toggled original/small.

The scrolling IS very annoying, and I did a quick attempt to try and fix it but ended up not really caring enough, for now. It's on the list.
Firefox is a different story. I've not even looked at Firefox addons/extensions, but I think they're javascript, so I should just be able to use the script that the Chrome one uses. I just inject it into the page differently.
Anyway, the extension's been updated now to fix the issue with it not getting rid of my sig in the first post. Just download and install it over the existing one.

I agree i think you should work alongside decalex and etoy. You dont need to create a new thread for this because it will overcome the original amoled blue because of this wonderful mods that you added.

Actually I don't know where's the problem I'm sharing a combined mod while linking threads/devs and giving credits
I didn't say anything is made by me but just combining them
I start the thread because I don't want to post a bundled stuff many times in different threads as I won't make different combinations

let me explain (well, hope so). i'm not jealous of my theme..it's just a theme at the end. i'm happy seeing how many people like it, didn't ever expect that success. what i don't like is that people thinks it's free, opensource, blabla and they can do whatever they want with it. me and decalex clearly posted to contact us BEFORE using our work. i contacted sonnysekhon asking if he gladly allowed me to use his Lucid-style widget image file in my theme. i think he'll not be happy to see it used by other people without his permission. i asked travp624 if he allow me to use his inverted apps in my theme, and so on. if you contacted me (or decalex) and asked about that, i'd probably allowed you to use the stuff. just explain me what's the point in making a separated theme with "just" evilisto's mods (which are awesome, indeed) instead of just proposing to add those mods to AB theme. otherwise, (don't want to be rude here, really) why don't you just start your own theme? we'd be happy to help you out with it, no problems at all! sharing everybody's knowledge is the fundamental of this forum imho.

Google makes android, gives it as opensource. Some guys make chromium, gives it as opensource and google just takes it and make google chrome. You take android files, change gama and brightness, put your name on it and want some "deserved kisses in the a**"? Did you ask google devs to change their files? Cmon man, this guy gave all the credit to you in the first post. He could ask you, but he didn't, why are you making such a big deal out of it?

Taking requests for Android Jaku icons!

Hello everyone, many of you may know of the beautiful Jaku iOS theme. I recently started using Photoshop and making custom icons and as of today I'm an artist for their repo of free user made icons (http://jakurepo.com/index.php). Being one of the few (if not the only) uploader for the repo that's an Android user I figured I'd make a post here.
So feel free to check out the few icons I've uploaded (http://jakurepo.com/index.php?artist=E34) and if you have any requests let me know!
EDIT: Just wanted to give full credit to William Szilveszter for creating this amazing theme, http://www.szilveszter.ca/
EDIT 2: If you like my icons please don't hesitate to post some screenshots, I'd love to see them!
For those of you that aren't sure what I'm talking about, some screenshots:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

REMINDER: BEFORE POSTING REQUESTS, SEARCH FOR THEM ON THE REPO, THERE'S A HIGH POSSIBILITY SOMEONE HAS ALREADY MADE AN ICON FOR THE APP.
its funny how these icons never get old.
my requests are:
1. Ashford University Mobile
2. an Air Jordan 4 bred icon
3. A Samsung Galaxy S III icon
4. Plague Inc icon.

Bevel
Thanks for your dedication.
You're being very helpful with the community
And I need to say that your icons are very promising. Can't beleve you're only beginning at this stuff.
Just please don't pack the already existing Jaku icons of the repo as a theme
I mean, they already are there and available to anyone, so no need to package a whole .apk off Jakurepo.com's contributions. As a means to pay respect to William Szilveszter's (szilveszter.ca/news/jaku-android/) word in regard to porting Jaku to Android. And for unfair competition sake.
Oh, and one thing about the bevel. The pattern (when there's one) is meant to extend from the top face of Jaku icons over the bevel as if the icon was sliced off a part and the pattern is actually deep underneath the icon's surface.
Like this attached image instead of your XDA icon...

No problem and thanks again man I enjoy using Photoshop and it's the least I could do for XDA since the community here has helped me so much since my obsession with Android began.
And I wasn't planning on taking anything I didn't make off the repo and putting it in an apk/zip/etc so no need to worry, most I'll do is make a .zip with my stuff and throw it up on DeviantArt. But that probably won't be for a while.
Your attachment doesn't show though lol, and yeah I realized I messed up the XDA icon and fixed it earlier, just forgot to change it on my phone haha.
EDIT: Now I see it, I need some more practice with that, for some reason when I try that it comes out looking really pixelated and bad

Good. I just HAD to say that. The same about icons from the paid iOS theme, they shouldn't be shared, even in modded form.

Basically, you need to duplicate the one-pixel high last row from the image above the bevel and stretch it over the six-pixels high bevel for it to look as intended.

They're paid so also no intention to, plus piracy/stealing whatever you want to call it isn't allowed here in the first place so no need to worry :good:

If you're talking about an apk for a launcher theme you would need to decompile the apk and put the icons in. You'd probably be better off just manually changing the icons with an aftermarket launcher.

Hey everybody, can anyone tell me what the heck is wrong with the xda forums lately? There are multiple things going wrong and some functions of the site dont work at all?
For example:
- Clicking on notifications in the top right corner doesnt open the received notifications, instead it opens this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/usercp.php
- Cant expand the names in a post to see who gave thanks, again opens a different page
- Options like attachments, smileys and all other options when writing a comment dont work (their not clickable)
Maybe there are more, but these are the ones i came across till now. Anyone having same behavior? or maybe it's just my laptop thats tripping... In any case its very much frustrating!

Everything Is Working Fine, Double Click On The Notifications Menu Will Show usercp.php Instead Of That Menu, The Fix Is To Click Just One Time, I Don't Know About The Others...
But You Can Try Between These Different Solutions :
Uninstall And Re-Install Your Current Browser.
Or Use The Old XDA Layout.
Or If It Always Failing, Try Using Google DNS.

About a months ago, I reported xda forum issues but never received a reply. If interested check here and here.
Normally, I don't use my GT-I9305 for visiting xda. However, due to your post I checked the xda functionalities by using the Gello browser that came with my ROM.
Everything is working as expected and normally except that the [view] button is missing to expand the thanks row to see who gave thanks.
For the still existing issues with xda on my laptop, please refer to the first link above.
