No, this is not the OTA, and it's not the same as the OTA. It is, however built directly from the sources which gives us a cleaner build than before. It does not include JB proprietary blobs, etc.
Just like any other ROM this would work for all models? I9020A?
Cheers!

I don't think the blobs are not yet released, but what's now available are these in the sources. https://android.googlesource.com/device/samsung/crespo/+/android-4.1.1_r1
Kernel version will be the same as GNex as the Common AOSP built, 3.0.31.

No, afaik, JBQ said full kernel source will be released when ota starts or just before ota.(he said in july 13th)
And no binaries yet. It already built-from-source when "source code released date" in other forum, but it couldn't boot.
Anyway, let's see if this legolas93's version works. But I think it will be like mixed version with ics and jb.

Thus I will compile and keep flashables updated with AOKP builds and every so often with CM9 nightlies.

AOKP M6 REVERT
CM9
**CM9 has now integrated the mod in the latest nightlies and only a key edit is needed now**
With a root explorer, open /system/usr/keylayout/cypress-touchkey.kl and change SEARCH to APP_SWITCH the reboot.
You can also going into /system/usr/keylayout/cypress-touchkey.kl and edit APP_SWITCH to SEARCH to restore search button.
Disclaimer: These may or may not work with ROM's based on CM9 or AOKP. If you try, prepare the revert with android.policy.jar pulled from your ROM zip framework.
CM9 nightlies are subject to change, which may cause incompatibilities. I will try to update weekly, but please post if it doesn't work for a specific nightly and I will try to update ASAP.
Does not work with ICS Slim right now.

Yeah apparently their frameworks differ too much to work.
Revert only replaces with unmodded. aokp policy.jar so same problem since not compatible.
Pull the policy.jar from slim to revert for you.

Im guessing the CM9 one might work. Either that or the stock one(go to evilistos thread).
Otherwise might have to use Slim repo to get it to work.

He just needs to create a new thread. He did what CM did, he started building CM 10.1 releases and stopped developing CM 10 abruptly. His OP is just out of date.
A Mod needs to step into his thread and just state that, IMO.

There you have it, what I have been working on behind the scenes......AOSPA wasn't made for non-nexus+hdpi devices like the GT-I9100G, so certain parts may be buggy...I will try my best to fix them, but there is no guarantee...and as usual, no whining and no ETAs...feel free to report bugs but be as informative as possible...remember: logcat it or it never happened!

Any status on official? IIRC you had to fill up a form to become a maintainer : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1uxtmNYbfZg92omuRQOwMJtVN7IZuJoWk8HLx2siF778/viewform?pli=1
I was trying to push stuff into their gerrit but seems that it is down...lol

No problem, once I build them for my xt907, its a peace of cake to port them to the mb886.

That +100. Once the initial rom is done, alls necessary is do the same exact things for the other phones.
To Eveyrone
If some of ya'll had any idea how easy it is to do we'd have a lot more roms available. For most roms, all ya gotta do is add in the Dev Team's CM repos, maybe tweak a few makefiles in device or device-common (just reference the SGS3), go to vendor/whatever, copy the SGS3 files and reword them for us, add us to the vendor/whatever lunch script....that's it. That's how almost all of us are doing the custom roms. I suggest the SGS3 because it has the same board as us (msm8960) and you want to reference a device as close to us as possible. What's cool is the X is supposed to have the msm8960 as well as being the same resolution as us....X better ship with a 4.3+ kernel that Hashcode, Epinter, Dhacker, and the gang can use.
Cool.. Any screenshots of this ROM? People who have flashed how is the battery life?? Thanks a lot for the ROM dude..

Hey guys, as of recently it has been tough to keep up with posting "OP Updated" whenever I update a ROM since I have quite a few ROMs I'm supporting on 3 different forums. So from now on, it is gonna be up to you to check the link in the OP for updates. I will be updating all ROMs regularly... So check back often. Thanks guys and ENJOY!

Probably this one or aokp. Used to be aokp no question... But slim has won my heart recently... Been running it for a week. Longest I have run a rom in ages.
I'm having some trouble getting Gapps to run on this ROM. I'm using the 7.8 version, and the Gapps from Slimroms for version 7.x. In particular, the Play Store keeps saying that there's no connection, even when there is - I can use the browser.
Any suggestions?

About MoKee OpenSource:
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP and CyanogeMod project. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
The Mfunz Forums launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better.
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development. Newcomers are always welcomed!

On Mokee ROM never need wipe, absolutely. The installation went well anyway!
Multi window on vibrant? How does it work on this device? Is it smooth and comfortable?
