Nexus 7 shipping in UK - some arrive by Tomorrow 7/13

Just saw this..
Nexus 7 reportedly shipping in the UK from Ebuyer, some orders scheduled to arrive on July 13th

I ordered mine the day after Google IO, seems like I have been waiting forever!
Im a little annoyed we (UK) wont be getting Play Magazines or able to purchase TV shows and Movies

Mine's been getting 'picked' for the last two hours, but the hopeful side of me is maintaining that they've already picked it, packed it, and are waiting for Parcelforce to turn up before they mark it shipped. My truly ridiculous side hopes that the Parcelforce driver will decide to make one last delivery today, just down the road in Hull, at my house, in about an hour:laugh:

Yeah, what that means is - your order number (1 of 25,000) is being picked from a hat to see if you get sent one of the 500 they had or the "sorry your item is out of stock" mail
I hope you do get it, but I have had personal experience with ebuyer and this sort of thing before.
Let us know how you get on later. If you have not had a delay or cancellation mail by midnight, you may be one of the lucky one's

Time will tell I guess! Since no-one else appears to have despatched theirs yet, it does make you think maybe someone pressed the wrong button at Ebuyer HQ as the stock as technically arrived, but possibly not allowed to ship yet.

Mine still says being picked.

Super envious. I went for PC World due to a cashback offer (having previously had it "in basket" at Ebuyer). D'oh! and a thousand times D'Oh!
Oh well good luck to those getting it tomorrow I suppose!!!

Ebuyer dont usually change it from Picked to Shipped until like 9PM+ so if its still saying Picked at midnight then its probably not coming at all.

Mine is saying picked as well. I can't see it coming tomorrow to be honest but I'm happy they are doing the £15 free play credit as well

Canadian Pre-Orders; Has yours shipped?

I am curious if any Canadian orders have gotten notification of shipping?
I placed my order on July 1st, and have yet to receive any notification. My card has not been charged, other than the pre-auth that was done when I placed the order.

My Pre-order from ncix has not shipped. I might have waited too long to Pre-Order from them.
A friend pre-ordered one from the play store at the beginning of the month and it hasn't shipped either.

I placed my order June 27th around 6pm EST. No charge or any notification yet. I'm hoping something happens tomorrow.
EDIT: I sent an e-mail to the playstore but nothing from them yet.

I placed my order a few days after the announcement and haven't heard a thing. The Android in Canada blog reports that they are expected to ship in "late July".

True however I wanted to see which Canadian customers have or haven't gotten their orders yet. I know about 15 Canadians that have ordered from the Play store, and I have not seen a single Canadian "pre order" that has been shipped yet.
I wish I had known Memory Express was selling them I was right by there on Friday morning :-\

Ordered on the 2nd through the Play Store. Sent 2 emails to Google so far and have not gotten a reply. Have not received any shipping information or any emails other than the original receipt. As always, Canada is receiving new tech last .

Ya I decided to order a 16GB through futureshop and sent an email to cancel my 8GB Friday morning, got absolutely no reply. It's almost as if they had Friday off, the support is sort of brutal to be honest.

I placed my order right after the pre order page went up on Google. No change to my shipping status.

Purchased on July 5th from the Play Store and have received nothing at all. Expecting an email or new processing information on my Wallet account tomorrow. I am in Ontario right across the boarder from Detroit.
Since I am in the Second wave we should be getting info tomorrow!

Hi there, disgrunted ex-Samsung owner here!
I had a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, which was a great piece of kit from a hardware perspective. I just got majorly hacked off with Samsungs stonewalling, lack of communication, woeful support and reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaally unnaceptable delays in software updates. Shame, but there you go.
Has anyone on this fine forum got a Nexus 7 here in the sunny UK yet?

Nope, Ordered 28th June, and it's not dispatched yet, and emails to Google Ireland (where it ships from) are unanswered.

still waiting, Google has now said we will get them next week there are other threads about this tho

I read this from the support pages...
"All Nexus 7 8GB orders will ship by July 20 (BST). All Nexus 7 16GB orders placed through June 30 (BST), will ship by July 20 (BST). The remaining Nexus 7 16GB orders will ship next week."
So, we should be smiling and happy by the end of next week, which pretty much seems to be in line with the projected delivery estimates on the Google Play site.

Mine is out for delivery with TNT and my friends was just delivered!

My 2nd (16gb) arrived this morning as well (UK), via TNT. Ordered on the 28th June.
Edit: I wrote them (Google) a quick note at midnight last night asking about a status update and about 2am there was a note saying it had been dispatched and with a tracking number, and the card had also been charged. Unfortunately this unit's battery was flat as a pancake, and has a few other issues as well. It seems that all 16gb units ordered in the UK before 30th June should be delivered either today or tomorrow, as google are doing 1day shipping now.

Did people get emails saying it was dispatched or had tracking numbers, or did they just turn up out of the blue?
People that have them, what date did they order, and what model?

Ordered 8GB from Google 28th June.
Ordered 16GB from EBUYER.COM 12th July.
Received 16GB from EBUYER.COM 13th July
Cancelled the Google order via Contact Seller contact form on 13th July.
Received "Shipped" email from Google 17th June, for delivery today.

C'mon brother; I just don't see the need to be all bent out of shape at the moment. Whatever's going to happen will happen; if Google sends me an email telling me they ran out of phones and I won't get one for three weeks or my screen has a big fat yellow mark on it I'll join you and get mad. Until then, I am just enjoying the ride and the energy of the forum right now. It's a good time for some levity in the face of all the tension and angst.

This is a poll. Not a nerd rage coliseum. The first post you posted in this thread sounds like this is another nerd rage coliseum. I'm not bent out of shape. If you think starting a poll of this type is bent out of shape, then I'm glad I don't work for the government.

Ordered 8gb model at 11:34am EST Tuesday, did not receive confirmation email but play store said ship on 15th and wallet said pending. Bank account was charged minutes after placing order.
Received tracking number at 4:38am EST this morning. Play store says shipped and wallet transaction is complete. Tracking number returns no information yet.

I ordered a 16GB at around 8:55AM on Tuesday. I didn't get a shipping confirmation or order complete notification, but I was hoping I might get it today since I got in 25 minutes after launch.... but there's no sign of the morning UPS man so I guess it'll likely be next week. :/

ordered the day it came out. got a tracking number and it says 2nd day air. the tracking number works now. should deliver monday. cant wait

Anyone else backordered already?

I went to a TMO store on Saturday the sixth and placed my order for Blue Note 7. I haven't received any notices or tests from TMO and my online account stating that the shipping date is changed to the 18-19th. I called the service number and asked about the status of my order. Sadly I was told that I am backordered. Frustration doesn't describe my feelings.
I've purchase many phones from my local store so I went in today and told them about my conversation with service. There was no sympathy at all, just a cursory, "Yeah, lots of people are going to be backordered."
Has anyone else had this experience? If so, just state your order date and color. I am really disappointed. I suspect they just stopped fulfilling orders to have enough inventory for the stores. I am really ticked.

They won't have any blue one in stores for at least a month just an FYI. I went to the store with my friend today because he wanted to get on the list and they told them his only options were black or silver or they could order him a blue one to be delivered as soon as they weren't on backorder anymore.

If they backordered me I would cancel the whole thing. The whole point of pre ordering is to get before or as soon as it comes out. I pre ordered mine Thursday. They said when my card is charged that means it has been shipped. My card was charged today. If I don't get this phone by Friday I will cancel the whole thing and stay with AT&T. Now if they would have told me that it will be after Fri I would have went somewhere else.

Yea it seems like everyone wanted the blue version. When I ordered mines on the website, it pushed the date back depending on the color you selected for the pre-order. So yea, Im sure thats why it went straight to back ordered.

Yeah mine changes to shipped once it updated.

Even though I was told I was backordered I received the shipping notice late yesterday and my Blue Coral is going to be delivered today. The point is that the rep I initially spoke with was wrong and the amount of notice on shipping can be very short.

Oh cool. Yeah, that backorder notice would throw anyone off. I Ordered yesterday and should be receiving today. I didn't get the Coral, though.
