[HELP] Carrier - Android Themes

IS there any way that I can have my carrier showing, even if I have notifications. When I receive a notification, it hides itself.

Nobody?

Ah, I see. I'm not on MIUI but I've done similar things before. All I'd need to do is look at the status_bar.xml
I think I know just how to do this.

I don't know how to do it so any help is appreciated!

I can do it for you. I just need you to share your framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk

Is there no way you can do it via a theme? Otherwise, I can live with it.

Oh, I can make a flashable zip file easily enough.

Heres my theory lol. Just take out the statusbar PNG from the theme and put the logo in there using Photoshop or paint.net and then zip everything up. But Its going to look weird cause when you get a notification its going to be on top of the carrier logo.
Are you on miui?

Ah never mind, cba to flash a zip :/

Yah i'm on MIUI.

As long as you haven't touched the pixel-wide border around the outside, they'll recompile without any issue.

You'll need a launcher, like ADW, GO, or LPP…the stock launcher doesn't give you the ability to change icons, as far as I know, without altering the framework…

You have to change the icon in the
Blurhome2, make sure you either push the file or use a flashable zip because this file cannot be changed with rootexplorer as far as I know as it will cause your phone to freeze

OK so here's how this will work.
INSTRUCTIONS
DIY!
1. Find the pngs you want. See link on first post. Otherwise they need to be for xhdpi phones. E.g. Galaxy nexus
2. Use root explorer and extract your current systemui.apk.
3. Copy and paste the new pngs to /system/res/xhdpi
4. Zip it back up. Rename the extension to apk.
5. Move it back to your /system/app.
6. Change permissions to rw-r-r.
7. Reboot.
Thanks for the easy tutorial.

Tickle My Android can be used to change the icons on the actual statusbar to make it look like this. That's simple enough.
The expanded screen will take a bit longer but it should also be quite simple.
I'll add it to my list of things to do.
With your java problems, it sounds like you haven't installed it to your path.
