If you find flashing roms difficult you shouldnt be on this site. Installing Overcome rom is simple, follow the PDF guide.
Also, simply backup your data, whats hard about that?

Have you tried just install overcome kernel 4.0 via Odin?
It will convert your file system to ext4 without wiping, but you need to have some free space, I don't know how much, it was mentioned before.

Is that a question or statement?
Yes it will wipe your internal memory but all you need to do is backup your data before you re-stock.
i will install no wipe Version

do you not speak english? or do you just PHail?
what do you mean by "up rom"? upgrade? upload?
what rom were you before? stock?
disLagfix ? disable lagfix? is that what you mean? you would DISABLE BEFORE flashing, ENABLE after.
loading files via your phone? #1 you load TO your phone VIA a usb calbe or VIA wifi ect. #2 what do you ACTUALLY mean? that you cant push with odin? cant mount usb? ect.....
try including information, to help us help you, if you want help.
and using terms that we dont use, makes it obvious you didnt READ AND LEARN BEFORE FLASHING.

you cant 'upgrade' you need to flash the FULL 1.1 over your current rom. shouldnt need to disable lagfix at all, but it wouldnt hurt. the idea there is to disable BEFORE you flash the rom, then re-enable it AFTER flashing the rom.
if you flash the full rom over your current rom it will wipe everything for you, except items on your sdcard (pictures/music/apps that store data there, etc)
REmove ext. sd card,. odin back to stock with repartition checked.
your sd card is corrupted mine did this and i had to do this. also format
your ext sd card mine was so corrupted that its actually no longer any good

I´ve had this problem before on di11i's 6.0 rom... just download the SGS Tools 4.5 from this thread - apply the "clean_thumb_db" script, reboot. The gallery should be back to normal after the system scans the media... well... this is how I fixed mine anyway!

Well, we all know that Doc's method will not work on custom ROMs. A similar method is possible on custom ROMs and that is by using the Amarulz' script to mount the ext-partition as your internal memory. You can search it on the Dev Thread. But remember that using the memory card as your internal memory will result to a slightly slower performance on the applications.
there are so many scripts and app to do that like dt app2sd script, amuralz script, s2e script, link2sd app, and many more but out of them I like link2sd app because it allow me which app to move and which to not
thanQ all,
and i am begin to get used to ( link to ext) but still
feel some lag
and does any one know how to attach a memory flash
to this rom ?

Hello,
After flashing ICS rom, I want to have completely fresh phone. I wanted to format internal storage (as some stuff from previous 2.3.6 is there) but can't find this option in ICS.
Any hints?
Should be in mounts in cwm

In GB there is such option, in ICS not. Anyway, I simply connected the phone in storage mode, removed all dirs and files from it. Then factory reset, rom flash ... and now I have a clean system
Thanks for your support.
Or you can connect USB , go to My Computers and Right click on your SD card and Format.
Simple.

I have read above procedure and the link given, still if someone can clear my confusion will be appreciable.
I want to partition my sd card. I am not asking how to do, just tell me where I am wrong in the follwing steps.
1- format sd card
2- partition thru CWM recovery. By giving proper details of partition, and choose ext3. So tell me how it would be ext4.(I have read somewhere on)
3- Flash any script like a2sd, darkmentors etc....
4- Use any app like A2SDGUI, link2sd etc.
5- success.
One more confusion, do I have to flash the script every time I change rom, or it comes preloaded in some roms.
(I am currently on apocalypse final.)

Hey, this is my first post on XDA and i really need some help
When i was reading on the forum about moving data and apps to SD i got stuck..
I got a rooted Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 with 2.3.5 stock rom.
I managed to move my apps to SD (Titanium Backup) with success but i still get the anoying message internal storage error. ( It's FULL)
Now i searched a bit further and found the app Link2SD, every review is positive so i gave it a try.
It doesn't work like it should :s it creates a link to my ext2 partition on 16 GB C10 card but it DOUBLES the internal storage of my apps... Am i doing something wrong?
The app isn't giving me more internal space, it just messes up my internal storage alot more .. First i had like 24-25mb free, after linking 2 apps ( airdroid and playstore ) i only got 15mb left?
Please help me out!
Thanks

Can it be done with a stock rom? Just trying to tweak stock to the very end..
For the stock you require a kernel with init.d support ( Fire kernel is good one) n aftr this you can try cron mod.

Int2ext scripts and link2sd work fine in stock roms.
I posted that, you need a custom kernel to enable init.d support well there is a way to enable ir without flashing any kernel but the fastest way to enable it is using a CUSTOM KERNEL, so I advise you to use BATTERY EXTENDER 1.5.1 . Flash it via CWM
