Rom compiled by me, from "Gingerbread 2.3.7 source code Google ", no changes, no tweaks, no modified kernel, all purely AOSP.
Features
- Add root Superuser (latest)
- Add busybox 1.19
- Add su binaries in system/bin
- Add fonts from i.c.s. dump
- Add gapps-gb-20111012 (2.3.5+)
- Put the rom.zip in your sd, enter in recovery, do a full wipe, install as a zip file, then reboot.

everything works perfectly! drivers installed in the rom, are those of the original google binaries (WiFi, accelerometer, GPS, NFC, etc. ..)
it is multilingual, well inside the original google keyboard, its else Japanese android keyboard!

Nice build. Just one small problem. When English United States is selected as the default language there are no suggested words that pop up when you type.

its a problem of keyboard translation...you can use other keyboard?
or if you like this aosp gb, i make an update.zip to flash!

yes you can use all kernel if you like....matrix, netarcky, trinity etc...

Just curious, besides root, what is the difference between this and the OTA 2.3.7 update?

If that was directed at me, then no. My phone has an unlocked bootloader, is rooted, and has CWM Recovery flashed.

Just flashed it on my i9020a for Koodo (Telus) and I haven't had any problems. Full bars and everything!
Thanks to whoever worked on this!

Working on my 9020A
Its up and running, although I had some issues. My UCKE1 radio did not play well with this ROM, but worked great on the other 4.0.4 ROM's
Not sure if its this or the crap I was doing earlier, but the SMS/MMS carrier access thing in the *#*#4636 thing is blank. Ill be fixing that soon.
Other than that, so far, so good.

I guess you never read the article, redy once posted about this topic. HW accelleration is there already since GB, not only ICS or JB. So it's in there already, but there are still a lot of bugs, which keep the phone from running fluently. Looks promissing I gotta confess Is it compiled from source, or a cooked port?

internet is serious business, thats why... lol, people get hyped up initially when they see something like this but upon further investigation realize how awful and how much of a pain in the ass it is to get things working properly, the hype wears off soon enough, i hope people aren't committing suicide trying to mess this with semi-aite rom none of us can read

All JB roms you can find are based in the GB kernel. Those roms works very well except for hw acceleration, so no video camera and no Netflix. Look for epinters rom.

I used jBART for translating but I don't have my language (polish) when I install translated ROM. Why?

When I listen to music with soundcloud IT doesnt appear on lockscreen

Okay no, for the player control double tap on the lock ring.
A thing that don't work for me is mi-tools module, the part of the statusbar don't work for me
