You should really give it a shot. Everything works and it runs a little bit smoother than ICS... actually a lot smoother!

Actually, scratch that. I failed to notice your comment about the icons. My fault. Sorry. Lol.

This is correct it won't work on gb. There is a thread that has all the live wallpapers from ice including one that was made from the GN boot animation. Not sure where but it should be in this section. I imagine if you search for black hole you might find it. Or just search live wallpaper. But it is here posts already.

Does anyone have the ICS live wallpaper found on galaxy nexus, the one with a spectrum of colours? The ICS rom I have has it broken and I quite fancied it.

Mi locker (MIUI rom has an app for its lockscreen)

If you are using android 2.3 you should download this app that allows to customise your rom lockscreen.
Have you even wanted to have MIUI lockscreen? So, go to this web page and download MiLocker.
Thanks me

When you select a lock theme there is an option below to include the wallpaper or not. You can unselect it if you want your default homescreen wallpaper.
Also note thats its only hdpi. Can someone port it to mdpi? I wonder why miui make it to hdpi devices knowing most hdpi device can use miui not with mdpi devices.

That's way cool. I can't thank you enough for this. Been missing these ever since I moved to CM7 (damn MIUI kept corrupting my sd during restarts)
Does it support widgets and apps on lockscreen?
Some themes work on my mdpi phone- the very first one and the wp7 default ones work... trying to find others now.
I can't seem to get any of the themes from the MIUI lockscreen thread on here to work, just goes to homescreen with a notification bar which doesn't work.
Anyone else had better luck?

[Q] Folder app

Hi everyone!
Yesterday I bought my Galaxy S Advance.
After using some Android 4+ devices I am used in using folders on my desktop.
Is there any app that allows you to use ics styled folders?
I cannot find anything interesting. The most are bad copies of the iPhone folders.
Thanks in -S- Advance
Hmm.. What "folder" are you referring to? Are you talking about the "circled" ones on the Homescreen which keeps a bunch of apps in itself?
Try some different launchers, some have this feature....
Sent from my GT-I9070 using xda app-developers app
Holo Launcher HD does nice job of folders imho. Lots of settings like background and icon and text sizes.
Thank you both guys for replying, I haven't find yet anything :crying:

Yes! Thats what I mean. I do not mind if it will be circled but the stock gingerbread folders are really bad. I would like to keep on using the default launcher because I like it very much.

If it is possible I would like not to change launcher. Touchwiz is very nice!! But there isn't any good app for creating folders..
You can upgrade to Jellybean if you want.. as Jellybean has a more "modern" UI than the outdated Gingerbread...
On JB, you can use Nova Launcher, which has the Feature you are looking for
I will, but in my country the JB rom has not been given yet.
We are waiting for it, up to the middle of March it would have been released.
So, for now I stay with Gingerbread.
Yeah, thats up to you....
But if you want it now then you can Root your phone and upgrade to Jellybean.. it still didn't release for my country too (only released for Russia) but I have using it for more than a month now...
But then again, since you bought your phone just recently you might not want to void your warranty by Rooting it...
Sent from my GT-I9070 using xda app-developers app
It's the default style of TouchWiz in JB.

Install CyanogenMod, don't look back

I wasn't sure if I wanted CyanogenMod on the Nexus 4. I tried the stock android for a week or so and was dithering on it. Finally I decided to try CM (I've used it on all my previous Nexus devices) and I was reminded why it's just plain awesome! Within minutes I was delighting in the additional options, the extra preferences, the ability to drag down at the right to open the switch screen, all that stuff. It's pure magic.
If you're a tinkerer, I recommend it. The monthly release has been pretty stable for me so far.

I like the stock, but there were lots of things I realised after installing that I'd missed from earlier CyanogenMod versions. I like the additional customisability of it. I can see that stock makes more sense if you want a phone to work reliably with minimal tweaking. Personally, I like to be able to configure it just the way I like it, to tune and tweak the power icons, the various panels, and so on. For example, I particularly like being able to disable the search bar on the homescreen and stretch the launcher to fill the screen. But horses for courses...

I'm not clear on exactly what it's focus is. It's all about tweaking the size of apps? Or it's about total customisation? I couldn't make much sense of the homepage or find a wikipedia page on it.
