Restore to factory

I wanted to restored my Nexus One to Factory.
Sick of getting 2.2.1 pushed on my N1 and have it fail.
I recovery mode it says restore to factory but even this did not work it did not completely restore everything.
The Clockwork recovery partition stayed.
So when Google want to push 2.2.1 ...... it fails still.
You can not completely wipe your phone ???
Please did not tell me i need to adp or whatever it is called push anything because I really do not want to go through that.
You mean you want to revert back to stock rom and recovery? Search in the development section, there is a thread with the file you need.

[Q] Reverting back to UK Stock and Unroot?

Hey Guys,
I'm due to return my phone to a Samsung service center because of a faulty charging port. I was wondering how to revert to UK Stock Gingerbread (that is what I received it as) from my current ROM? (Rocket Rom Reloaded v1 JB) and unroot?
Thank you very much in advance!
Download the GB Stock from Dr. Ketan's old thread or from sammobile.
Install this Rom with PC Odin - No need to "unroot".
Don't forget to wipe after for removing your data on internal card.
Will this unroot and revert the phone back to stock kernel, recovery etc?
Also which method should I use to wipe, as I remember the stock kernel had the emmc brick bug if I had wiped?
Thanks in advance!
If your phone detecting in PC Odin then do the following step
(No need to format sd card, just remove sd card, dont forget to take all app, data, contacts and messages )
1. Go to cwm recovery
2. Do 3 wipes and do format /system, /data, & /Preload, Format emmc
3. Reboot download mod
4. Flash Stock GB rom from Dr. Ketan's thread using PC ODIN
After flashing you will be having stock rom with stock kernel
Thanks for both of your answers
So I should just go with any of the UK Stock ROMs found here right? (Just making sure I have the right download and thread)

[Q] Restore to stock from WCX

I loaded WCX some months back and want to go back to the stock ICS that I had. No need to unroot, just to go back and try stock again. I have S-off and a nandroid backup of my original stock and all the drivers, rootkit on the computer . I want to make sure I am doing this right. My plan is:
1. Wipe phone, davlick etc
2. Use rootkit to fastboot the old boot.img back to the phone.
3. Reboot
4. install old nandroid recovery on sd card
5. boot into recovery and restore nandroid from sd card.
I think I should then have my old ICS stock back and running and "only" have to re-install the apps.
Does that seem right?
Thanks ahead of time for all the help
Why dont you just use an RUU

Help deleting folders - used rooted phone

I just bought my first Android phone - HTC One. I'm loving it so far!! The guy I bought it from previously rooted it and ran several roms on it. I'd like to copy all the files to my computer and then figure out how to wipe all the folders back to stock (no need to have all kinds of roms and folders from apps he had installed previously, etc.)
Is there a way to do this and wipe everything back to factory?? I tried to do the reset through the OS but the files are still there. I also seen factory reset in the bootloader but havent tried it since I'm still learning and dont want to brick the phone.
If you have the nandroid backup of stock the mobile.
Then goto recovery mode and wipe all data, dalvik cache, battery stats.etc..then say restore..The original stock will be back.
If atall u see old files delete with no fear using root explorer.(be carefull)
If any thing goes wrong just restore the backup through recovery....
Good luck:thumbup:

Thanks ... I was thinking the same thing last night ... I thought after rebooting into recovery TWRP had a wipe function (not sure if this does a full wipe or not).
How would I restore a backup once I wipe the device if it wipes the entire device? Use USB and upload it back to the device then restore?
Lastly, I restored into the first backup the device has on it but unfortunately it has tons of stuff already installed on it and I'd like it to be a fresh build. Additionally, I'm only on version 4.1.2 and I'd like to upgrade if possible. Perhaps I can find a newer version of the factory AT&T image which is fresh?
I seen a 4.2.2 thread stickied on here ... would that be a factory AT&T image I could restore to after wiping the entire device of everything? Or perhaps I should try the 4.3 leak or even wait for 4.3?

[Q] Help me! almost bricked i890L

Hello fellas, i really need a help here.
I have a I890L Brasilian with latest updates installed - is the phone of my wife. She was complaining about the slow so i decide check for a CFW or a something. I'm not new on it, i flashed cfw to my smarts since i had a P500, now on Moto G. But the question is:
1º - i rooted the S3 mini follow this thread - How to guide easiest way - and works fine. No problems here.
2º - after it i searched by a CFW and decide by AOKP 4.4.4 (this) but i made a mistake and put the files on sdcard, not external. So when i wipe data/factory i erased it (stupid, i know) and did the follow threads: remove the batery, get the memory card, removed it (to put the files of CFW - aokp4.4_golden.nova.20140805 and [GApps][4.4.2][AROMA]_Aroma_Installer_GApps-v1.5.2 - and while it happens i started the phone. Normally, jsut clean. So enabled the usb debugging, put the memory card back and proceed the 1º step again - in my mind, since imade a factory reset and it stats with the official samsung firmware, was unrooted. The things was normally, works nice and i enter on recovery using the win+adb strategy.
3º - now is the problem. On recovery, i wipe data/factory, wipe cache, installed CFW, root and installed gapps - and now i'm froze on a android logo (it's a bootsplash animation). The question is how i solve it? i don't enable the Three-button combo so i can't back to recovery; but the phone is detected by Odin while on download mode.
Can someone help to solve it and help me to flash a CFW on the proper way?
forget it. i solved flashing oficial firm through odin
