Hi all, im seeing a huge decline in nexus one roms compared to the desire forum..
so i thought hey why not just start porting some over here since the devices are practically the same (with the exception of the hardware buttons)
is there any guide to porting desire roms to the nexus ? what to look for, what to watch out for ?
for your help, i promise i will post anything i get working on the development forum =)

hello i have a doubt .. can rom for desire s work on incredible s?? as both have same hardware except the screen size..
A more informative title would be helpful for people browsing the forums.
As for your question, I'm not sure. Even if it did work, it would look weird as the resolutions aren't the same.

No. It doesn't work like that. ROMs are device specific and you should not even bother trying.

Okay thanks guys .. and sorry for the thread title .. I had flashed the ROM from desire s .. It booted after I flashed some other kernel but soft keys light did not work ..

i tried them already and they failed to boot my phone.
i know its frustrating and all, but can people stop asking for something which as a dev i already know about and am constantly working on!

That's what the devs from there did to try and help us. Problem ish everytime we added it it.....out phones went nuts.
the kernel we have to use is 2.3.3 rom based, once we conquer that via rom.....we laughing!
I do spend alot of time researching stuff for us, and its becoming increasingly hard now newer phones are being released as devs are moving along.
As always I will endeavour to get us a kernel !

I see how rooting is a bit difficult, as they are blocked and all that stuff .. I come from a Optimus One, everything is easy with this little ..
I need someone who can give me a boost in my first steps with nexus one, lest something bad happen to my phone ..

imho rooting nexus one is a very simple process. rather you can just unlock ur bootloader,flash custom rom and then flash watever rom of ur choice.

Hi there guys, this is my first post on here.
Im trying to flash my one x with cm-10-20130217-NIGHTLY-endeavoru. Im using fast boot and clockwork to try and do this but it hasnt worked. I've searched high and low around the internet to try and work out what the issue is but nothing. First of all i was in a cyanogen mod boot loop. and now after changing to the most recent daily im stuck on the htc splash page and i cant get off it. If anybody is able to help I would be very appreciative as so far my phone is looking like an expensive brick.

my question is relating to the PACman primou rom. Is it compatible with one v? ive tried flashing it a couple times and always seem to get stuck at the loading screen that just says PACMAN. I belive the instructions i had were to flash the hellboy-42-201305202359.img kernel which only seems to make things work less.
help please?
i'm currently using CM9-KANGBANG v3.0
one more question, what do you think the best rom for the one v is so i can try it out??

lol, i think he knows this is for the m7 not the one v and is asking if it will work? short answer = no, it won't work.
