FriendStream Widget not refreshing after ICS update - HTC Incredible S

Hello everyone,
Updated to ICS just recently and everything seems to be working fine so far apart from the FriendStream widget.
I'm using the full-screen widget as opposed to the other 2, smaller, versions.
At the moment, I have placed the widget on screen and it shows my updates, but when it refreshes itself the updates don't show.
The time at the bottom of the widget changes to show that it updated recently but the status updates don't change.
If I go into the FriendStream app itself the updates are there but just not on the widget.
Odd.
I have to remove and re-add the widget for it to 'refresh'
Any thoughts please?

Question about HTC Calendar Widget

Hey guys,
I'm using the Pure Calendar Widget right now but I'm not really a fan of the look. It just doesnt fit to the Sense UI.
The problem I'm having with the HTC Calendar Widget is this:
You can choose bewteen two looks. 1 is the whole month as a grid, the 2nd shows you your next appointment. I would love to use the 2nd, but being able to see all my appointments directly there listed without tapping on the widget and checking the overview. Is this easily doable?
Your right, there's not much out there for that with the HTC style theme...closest I could find was:
- Laik Agenda Widget
But that's not quite perfect either.
You coukd give pure Calendar more Skins.
I've Pure calender Widget installed and I'm using Dark grey with white outline.
Did you tried that?

[Q] Dashclock widget 4.1.2

I'm looking for a minimalistic widget (clock + weather), and came across dashclock. Its a very well executed open-source apk that syncs notifications into the homescreen widget (as well as lockscreen.) and has several extensions that can be added.
This Apk requires 4.2 (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.nurik.roman.dashclock&hl=en)
Im aware that on 4.1.2 (which im running), doesnt allow lockscreen widget, but I would like the homescreen widget of the same. Is there any way of installing this?
If not, any known alternatives?
Thanks in advance

I know this is a really old thread, but did you ever try Better Dashclock Widget? It's the exacto same one but it works for the home screen

New App Widgets Not Showing

I've had an issue lately where my Widget Selection menu won't refresh and show a widget available from a newly installed app. Has this happened to anyone else? After a reboot, or waiting for quite a while, the widget will appear in the Widget portion of the app drawer, but it's not always immediate the way that it should be. Any suggestions?

Widgets (calendar/agenda) don't update/refresh?

No idea if this is an Android 7.x issue in general or specific to OP3T.. but I can't find any calendar/agenda widget for my homescreen which will update (refresh), other than via a reboot.
ie. if I reboot on Tue Apr 4th.. the widget will believe it is April 4th until I reboot several days later .. and show the calendar accordingly, and not pick up any new appointments.
The main calendar app does. Just not the widget.
I had been using Agenda Widget, but that broke badly with 7.x, so I have since tried several others (most recently Tiny Calendar). None of them update.
My Weather widget (Transparent weather) also doesn't update the day and thus shows out of date weather info.
Other than unlocked bootloader, I am stock.
Any solutions?
EDIT: so far as I can tell, I don't have any battery optimizations enabled which would throttle these apps when in the background.
so this is working for everyone else?
I was using the Google launcher.. just in case I switched back to the OP3T launcher.. but no luck. Today is Wed, and both my weather and calendar widget report they still think it is Saturday.

Clocks freezing?

Does anyone else notice clock widgets seem to freeze every so often so the time shows incorrectly? I've turned off battery optimisation for the widgets but it still does it
Not on mine... I use Beautiful widgets for the clock and it keeps on ticking (I don't lick my Note 9)....
Are you a 3rd party or the Smasung clock widget? I think I used Sony Xperia widget on my V20. It featured this behavior occasionally if I had not touched my phone for awhile. It would update itself after stretching out and yawning some more. My note9 with in house widget is not doing this.
Using better dashclock and another widget (that's the name lol)
