Android development is a hobby for me, the Android community has been good to me and I enjoy what I do, I don't do it for any personal gain or gratification so if you like this ROM and would like to show appreciation for the time and effort me and other people have put into it then I would very much appreciate it if you could donate to the 'childhood leukaemia' charity I support, you can donate via Paypal or by card/cheque, thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks for donating if you choose to .

Additional notes
PLEASE READ: I welcome bug reports or feature requests however when reporting a bug please state how exactly it happened and how to reproduce it so I can investigate it, you can email me bugs or feature requests to /dev/null
Please note if you have flashed any 3rd party kernels, I will not be able to offer support as I can not answer for problems caused by 3rd party changes, the kernel provided with JellyBelly is maintained by _thalamus who many of you know to be a respected developer, I respect and trust his work enough to incorporate it into my own. I would not include anything into any of my work if I thought it was detrimental. I want JellyBelly to be stable for both you and myself.

The OTA was JRO03E however 1. this isn't the OTA and 2. the Android Source at present is at a newer build JRO03H.

AdamG would you maybe pm me your default.xml for source please?

I was having problems with my .classpath. I would like to build for crespo4g. Ive been building using your sources for awhile now. I dont release any roms. They are for personal use. Big fan here.

Love it n will try today,. Thanks adam,.

Is it with rom control?

Thank you Adam for this smooth ROM. Can you please add "volume wake" option? it would be perfect for people wanting to preserve their Power button like me
High Big Mem patch and "hold back to kill" would be also awesome but not really urgent
Thanks again for sharing this ROM.

Welcome to the ROM scene. Looks like a very nice ROM and must say one of the most organized ROM explanatory post.
Sounds interesting, will probably have to give this a flash

This ROM reminds me of Oxygen! Especially with the thread format. Looking forward to it.

Yeah I saw AdamG made a ROM for the Galaxy S2 named DevNull. Didn't think Oxygen could be even more "lighter" but this will be interesting
Thanks for the ROM!

It's working now
Note to everyone: there was an issue when I built the ROM, so I have to rebuild it entirely. It should take about 20min, so please be patient.
One thing I like about CM is the toggle widgets in the notification panel and non-intrusive notification sound, that is the notification sound does not interrupt my music. Are these two features also found in this ROM? I'm currently on stock ROM for its stability, but I really miss these two features.
Good. Waiting on the update. Will the power controls and oxygen settings from 2.3.4 work w this?

Fixed builds are up.
So far really loving the speed of this rom. Any plans on putting in the theme chooser? Or is there a way too?
Sent from my Nexus S
Looks like a very nice rom!
Here's a few suggestions:
- Remove wallpapers and Live Wallpapers, they take away space and are not necessary.
- Add some menu to the Settings.apk for these:
-- Power Widgets
-- Torch
-- Battery Percentage
Also, what kernel is this using? I assume Netarchy 1.3.9 CFS.

Notice
Very important. Read all before posting questions!
1. This ROM is based on doixanh's personal ROM and continued in the same philosophy to keep it as lightweight as possible. You can report bugs in this thread and suggest additions, but understand we're not obligated to fix or include them. We'll fix what is needed, and we'll include what makes sense.
2. We are NOT responsible for any bugs caused by custom-made fixes/additions/tweaks. You use them at your own risk and responsibility!
3. Regarding the copyright branding at the bottom in Lockscreen: We will NOT remove them nor provide any option to disable them. Don't PM/Post to ask for the removal or nag otherwise.
4. If you have battery drain, try the following:
Clear battery stats in recovery.
Freeze unused services (like Email, DSP Manager, Maps). This is important.
Turn OFF 'Allow mock locations'.
Don't set brightness too high.
Don't install too many unused apps.
Turn OFF WiFi, 2G, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth when not in use.
Turn OFF LED Succession.
Reboot after you listen to music. Music service caused battery drain (in the past).
Generally, doixanh and me usually get 2-3 days out of a charge (give or take depending on usage).
5. If you still have battery drain after following Step 4, try:
Full wipe in recovery, re-install GingerDX.
Use Stock ROM for several days to see if the battery problem is caused by GingerDX or not.
If it doesn't drain, try installing one of your apps, test battery for a day, install another one, and test.
and so on...
That way you will know what's the cause of your battery drain.

Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. There will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for daily usage. I personally have a high standard when it comes to releases and this is why this project always meets the expectations of users. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

CPU frequency sliders in Performance Settings don't work (known CM10.1 bug), but you can set them using Rom Toolbox, SetCPU or similar apps from PrayStore
Rootbox is currently being updated to being compiled using Google 4.7 toolchain, so there may be some other bugs, but please do keep
in mind that this is a work in progress, and things will only get better given time

Sounds good to me. Excellent! Ore a discussion Fred :good:
BTW. Got the PA prefs working again. You might want to take it in the 2nd post, after it got verified of course and confirmed working.
DL the zip file below and extract it /somewhere/on/your/phone
Make system RW only if necessary
Simply put those 6 .XML files in system/etc/paranoid/preferences and make sure all of them have 644 permission (rw- r-- r--)
Reboot.
Enjoy hybrid settings of PA.

Well done.
That resolved, there still remains the broplem of browsers FCing, but hopefully that'll get rectified soon.
Yes. I have seen the FC Browser multiple times now ... Hm . No clue, okay. Dolphin works.
Concerning PA prefs. There will be an ugly FC of system ui maybe as well, if you change it to tablet ui, e.g. option 2 (192dpi). As Bajee wrote he will have more time at the end of the month
Can I haz Samsung apps with this rome?

That won't be necessary starting from the next build if the XML files perform well. I'll insert them into the Rom so nobody has to bother pasting them into /system themselves.

Support on this thread is for LiquidSmooth ROM related issues only.
While we do not mind helping, its getting impossible to sort through issues that are ROM related or not. Persistent non-ROM related issues are best suited for the Galaxy s3 i9300, Help & Troubleshooting Section.
Below is a few things I would appreciate you list when you are having issues so we have as much information as possible when trying to help you with your problems.
Is this a Clean flash
Is this the stock kernel
What firmware revision are you on
What gapps package are you using
Have you had this issue on other ROMs
Do you have any apps that change/modify system preferences (Xposed, etc)
Do you have any task killers installed

"All" is relative to each person. There are some parts that will break with O3 and have to be O2 or Os. Stability over speed. The more that's O3 the more chances that you lose stability. Could there be more added, sure. We'll get there
Flashed okay with PAgapps latest.
nice and refreshing bootanimation.
Woking wifi , calls
most of customizations in setting there.
Slim launcher i like
Cm theme engine there.
a personal thanks for pie control in navigation.
in about phone there is OTA update centre. so i think there might be
Selinux disabled . what does that mean. it is permissive in other roms i used
I will be using this for a few days now and report if thre is any problem. Else its awesome go for it.
Could not find a file manager
THis is my initial report .

Disabled and permissive are basically the same. In permissive SeLinux its active and reporting, disabled its not active at all. Right now to the user, its pretty much the same thing
