[Q] unlock bootloader X8 11sw19

i have two x8s .. one of mine is 12sw40 and other is 11sw19 .. i wonder, could i unlock the bootloader of x8 which has 11sw19 code ?
i search in webs, no posts that tell wheter the bootloader of 11sw19 can be unlocked or not .. i just want to make sure before i unlock it. because i ever made my other (12sw40) bricked.

You can unlock the bootloader of the X8 with the 11W19 manufacturing date, as it is below the 11W28 limit of hard-bricking.
There isn't any 11SW19 btw, did you misread/mistype the manufacturing date?

firstly i think i missread the code ,, but i read it again, it is written 11sw19 ....
i try to search , but nothing i got .... i am just afraid that i make it hard brick ..

i think it's not really specific .... i used both x8 , the result shows "Est. Date of Range Issuance After Jan 2003"
i am not really sure , and i try again with my J108 .. it showed the same.

Plzzzz help me out.........................i jst bought new Xperia X8. And decided to unlock the bootloader.i used msm7227_semc....After using it my Network signal or Bar has red X sign on it..i hv tried relocking but still.pls help me

Search and you will find a thread about bootloader...I can't remember the link or topic, just search bootloader.....it will.help you how to relock

yes it was sim-unlocked but i think it wasnt unlocked by the EMMA/IMEI

when i unlock mine after i put new kernel i had no signal so i relock and after i was back on stock kernel i unlock again and put the new kernel and it was ok. but are you sure your phone is on the right date to unlock?

Sony Xperia SP Bootloader..

Hello Guys,I was checked my Sony Xperia SP service info and its telled to me Bootloader Unlock allowed: NO,I want to know how its possilbe to change to Yes? and if is it ,i want to know how to make it than...I want to install KitKat 4.4 Rom to my phone but only have with other kernel and not with stock kernel...This is why i want to unlock bootloader and change kernel + use KitKat rom...

make this code and check service info..this is telled me unlocking bootloader allowed: NO

NO use.. If it says NO.. You cant unlock it.. Cant root.. It depends on the version release of SP.. Some say yes n other NO.

You really cant unlock, method is selling Xperia sp, buying new one with bootloader allowed

you are rooted ..thats fine.but you CANT unlock.. that means you cant flash custom ROMs..

Yes I checked the website from sony (and some other).
Does all of those Tools works on W8 ?
Because I did my best (including asking for bootloader unlock key) and I'm unable to make my fastboot mode recognize on W8 hardware list

(btw : I just want to root my Xperia SP to be able to pull away some sony' apz that work underflow and make it 60% ram used without launching anything; this of course, make it slow !!)

Bro its not a ROM..its a guide specialized in xperias ..so try your luck there..

Ya I think so.. You should pm one of the experienced dev or member who owns Xperia SP and has carried out or helped in the development of the same phone model.. :thumbup:

I have the same unlock allowed: No...
You can only use stock based roms, only recoveries for locked BL, and cannot enter fastboot mode...
Use SEUS for repairing or reinstalling stock rom if u ever mess something up during rom installation.

is there any way to unlock the bootloader for OB v30c??because after searching the forum i just found the way to unlock bootloader for v30b...maybe someone can tell me about this..really need help...thanks:laugh:

The way to unlock v30b bootloader you found works for v30c, too.
Remember that your phone must be rooted before you try to unlock the bootloader!

I guys i have my xperia z rooted and on official 4.4 but it is so slow i cant even play with the device , using an ipod now.
Pls help me , it has a unlockable bootloader and i cant find roms that are not based on sony skin.
I just want some nice person to post i the comment "ALL" i have to do to install custom recovery and a blazing fast rom (u choose) .

I didnt tried any custom rom
I flashed only stock based ones THEY ARE GREAT AND THE ONE I USE IS FAST! But not "BLAZING fast" as you say

you can give existenz or moonwalker superb v2 as both are based on stock roms

Surely flashing any of the stock based ROMs that the guys have recommended is better than having a phone thats not working as well as it should.. and from my understanding if bootloader un-lock is not allowed then you can not unlock it...

Just don't forget to back up your TA partition first!
You probably don't know what it is, so search for that first, before even attempting to unlock your bootloader.

I have a Bl unlocked phone I had backed up TA before unlocking.
And I know the importance of TA had done research before unlocking my phones bl

Configuration...
Rooting status...Bootloader unlock allowed...
If it says NO .. then you are unable to unlock it..
If yes then you`re good to go...but please do plenty of research before you attempt to unlock...could save you a lot of hassle ..

it is upto YOU whether you unlock the boot loader and put on a custom 4.4 rom, nobody can give you the answer

but if it says no on the dialer settings then it's impossible right? or is still possible?
