Hey guys my tab is stuck on 32% battery since a lot of time. i had charged it all day around 2 weeks ago but still the battery % didnt go up. i had aokp build 29 in my tab then and as i removed the tab from the charger it would go off so i decided to re stock it and followed the overcome guide now also it shows 32% though it works without the charger. what should i do ? it is completely stock now.
Thanks
Edit : Thanks a lot guys . I dont know how but this problem got randomly solved Really appreciate the help . Thanks a lot again .

This should be not a big issue, just wipe battery stats, your tab should be rooted and use battery calibration app, or you can do it from CWM recovery and wipe battery stars.

It differs from CWM to another, but it is "WIPE BATTERY STATS" , may be you find it in wipe menu or in the advance menu. By the way 10 days ago I had this exact situation but I wiped battery stats and everything fine now.

well salahmed has rightly suggested you to wipe battery stats....
but if this doesn't work
try this....
1.keep your phone switched off for 4 hours or so and then again charge it....
2.Or power off your tab and connect the charger to it...the charging battery icon pops up and then press power button and touch the screen simultaneously for some seconds and maybe this should work...
I tried all these three things including battery calibrator app and one of these things worked for me....
wishing good luck....

Is it as easy as just flashing a froyo rom with clockwork recovery? My battery life seems very bad on cm7 want to try a 2.2 rom. Also which is a good one?

Its a protective function of the battery, saving it from overcharging.
2.2 roms dont show the truth. Even if they show 100% the battery is not 100% charged.

In the CM7 FAQs it advises you need to flash a 3 file firmware via Odin to revert back to stock. I tired the way you are asking but it did not work.
Flashing with a 3 file firmware does work
You can get the firmware from samfirmware.com
Yep, you can't flash back via cwm, you need to use a 3 file firmware with repartition checked on odin.
About the battery life on cm7, there are a few things you can do to help:
1) in the wifi advanced settings, turn wifi sleep to "never" as it may prevent the phone from sleeping
2) with the battery full, reboot into recovery and wipe battery stats (also wipe cache/dalvik cache while you're at it)
3) check the battery stats for any app that might be using up the battery in the background and uninstall it
4) make sure you're on the latest nightly
5) use a cm7 kernel that supports undervolting and undervolt your phone
6) lower the brightness, disable gps/wifi/bluetooth when you don't need them
and yes, the 97% battery is perfectly normal, have you read the FAQ?...
Thanks for the help I'm a noob to.android. Also it never reads my external sd card any ideas? I formatted it and everything else I can think of

External sd card is named "emmc" in cm7.
My phone keeps showing that its charging even if its unplugged, it happened since I tried to install Google Now. But I thought it would be some glitch in system file so I revert to stock rom but the problem was still there...Now I am back in Maclaw's CM9

It was the problem of charging port, the middle thing in that was touching another metal and it made it thinking its charging .....just moved it bit here and there...and it worked :good:
Oh, I thought that you should wipe the cache in recovery mod.. Well good that you solved your problem
just clean the charge port

i waited for it for like 2 hours but it wont go further.
My phone is on ICS 4.0.4, I'm using classic rom v4.0 wid abyss kernel.

Just wondering if you're battery is bloated and therefor not holding proper charge? Place it on a table and see if it spins.

Sounds like it's hosed, but no idea why. Have you tried un mounting sd cards before nandroid?

Thanks for the advice
Fixed!
I made a backup in cwm, factory reset and restored, everything ok now!
Hi,
I have a problem with my phone, whenever I install a stock rom Jb, example (DjangoManouche 2.3/4.0.4 or other) and I started playing, I activated the data or wifi without plugging in the power, the phone turns off because the battery is low (it was at 97%)
and restarts the battery when it rises from 97% to 1%
After 5 or more minutes when I reboot the phone, is back to 95-94%
What do you think? and how to resolve this problem ?
Sorry for my bad english.
Thanks !

Issue: Phone suddenly shuts down, when trying to boot it, it just keeps restarting when hitting the bootanimation.
I use the phone less than 30 mins and suddenly it just shuts down and I have to do a full wipe for it to work again. Even after full wipe, it works perfectly fine for max 1 hour of use, then it shuts down and new wipe is required.
What I have tried:
Flashing PA, CM10.2, flashing full stock ICS V30A.kdz, repartion with AIO-Toolkit and even tried using Homero's ICS NvFlash version of ICS. Nothing helps, I use the phone a little, and then it just needs to be wiped again.
Anyone who had an issue similar to this? If not, then I think the O2X path ends here
Hoping someone can help.

Try to go back to old bootloader and use a GB rom and see if the problem persists. See the group on my signature on Facebook.

I tried using Homero V20S NvFlash ROM yes, which is on old bl, but it didn't help
After I use the phone like 1-2 hours maybe less, it just restarts and then won't boot again and I have to do full wipe again.
Yes psmax, I tried and sometimes, when I flash ROMs even in TWRP, the phone just shuts down in the middle of the flashing process. What the hell can be causing this?
Could it be an hardware problem?..

How can I know if its a hardware problem? That's what I am afraid of - because if it is, then its goodbye O2X
Sold the phone today.
Officially looking for a new phone now. Hmmmmmmm i wonder if i shall buy another o2x now that its being offered to me extremely cheap... i dunno what to do
Had almost same symptom: quick drop from fully charged to 60%, then random BSODs and reboots.
New battery did the trick for me.

A broken battery could send wrong readings to the kernel, which in turn responds with a shutdown or a crash. Most of the hw problems could depend on this...
