Probably battery is out..
or else
Repair your phone using sony update service
and try unlocking again ?
What is the manufacturing date ?
Dont unlock bootloader with manufacturing date above 11w29
You can see this date by removing your battery

I really do think its harbricked! I have 2 questions for you. Does your computer recognize your phone when you connect it to your computer? This is taken from nelikp: Check Manufactoring date/code (behind batery)
11W29 above U better stay away and stop dreamming (i got 4 times hard bricked on 11W38)
11W28 below U can proceed and again I am not Responsible if it BRICK YOUR PHONE!!!!
Check to see if your bootloader can be unlocked?

Nope when your phones hardbricked its completely dead, all they can do is change the motherboard. So basically they cant even turn it on to check to se if its rooted etc. There are many people on here that have used the charging exuse to get SE to fix their hardbricked X8.

You obviously jumped straight into unlocking your bootloader without reading any of the warnings. Your bootloader cant be unlocked! Thats why you have hardbricked your phone. Goodluck with unbricking your phone. I would be able to do it for you but the postage will cost too much. I have seen guys that will give you free postage to them. They will do it for about 20dollars. If you need the link i will look for it?

Lol so your telling people to purchase a Riff box and attempt to restore it when they can just send it to SE and they'll replace the motherboard under warranty?
Even if SE do find out the bootloaders unlocked then all they do is send it back to you, so what's the worst that can happen from sending it to SE.

It will cost about 20 dollars. I wouldn't pay any more than that. They will see it straight away that you have tried to unlock your bootloader. Your warranty is voided at the moment. There are ways around this smash your phone to bits LOL! They will give you a new one. Honestly just pay someone to unbrick your phone

i searched up google and it tells me that red dot is indicator of water damage to phone..... after drying up i can boot phone... it is turning on... i havent tested other functions cuz i found some more water so i left it to dry..........
i will take it to samsung tomorrow and hope for best...
Please take a picture of the red dot. I wanna see it.
And maybe we can put a waterproof sticker over the red sticker so that when the phone actually does fall in water it won't turn red. Then remove the waterproof sticker and give it to the service center.

Oh you are that Delhi guy. Remember me
And for your phone.
Did you tried downloading mode. If working flash the stock rom. Then took it to Samsung guys.
But I think you should let it dry first fully and try your luck.
Better try with a dryer after removing the battery.
Yeah better let it dry first. I think putting the phone in a bowl of rice helps as well.

Warranty is void anyway because of the awesome red dot stickers, so you could have told him since you'll be paying for the repair. But if telling CM7 is just an app worked then that is going to help a lot of Mini users claim their warranty. Thanks for sharing, man.

You referring to the current situation (Water damage, but Phone's working) or a fully bricked state.
And, they think Kies software would detect the Phone with a fully bricked state?
And if the phone is working, how much time would it take to look on "About Phone" section. From there, the Service Centre guys could easily detect whether Custom ROM is installed or not.

There is no waranty that covers water damage to the phone. Only phone insurance wich i doubt you have. If they inspect your phone, they will void your waranty because no matter how much you dried it, water leaves marks. Anyway, if the screen is ok and the phone boots up, you wont have to pay that much for the reparation.

You may be right that they can check in "About Phone".
But I have witnessed cases that the service center guys acts like totally idiot and can be easily fooled.
I think most of them don't have knowledge and they just do a GOOGLE SEARCH.
Once I told them to repair my headphones just after 7 days of purchase they asked me to give my phone, I asked Why?
They (she)replied: we have to check phone. She typed some number on the dial *#*#1234...something and some other number to get details.
I even asked them to upgrade it to gingerbread from froyo and i gave my phone.
Then next day I came to get my phone with repaired headphones
and those foolish! Mad ass people reflashed muy phone with what: froyo over froyo and i lost everything.
I asked (in anger) why did you reflashed with old one. In that they said gingerbread is not yet available.
As far as for flashing they surely used kies.

Okay so I rooted my X8, installed recovery, bootloader, fully wiped the stock rom, wiped all caches, accidentally wiped battery stats too.
And now it's not booting up, no lights are lighting up with I plug the device in or turn it on, I tried removing the battery, plugging in the charger and wait a minute and then inserted the battery, waited 30 minutes and still nothing.
Any ideas how to fix this? I want to put the Xperia-Z Port on it..
there is absolutely nothing blinking and it's not turning on, I'm sure the battery was around 60% when I was hacking it... it worked until I did a full wipe+all caches+battery stats. Since then it doesn't respond.
can you tell me what number is written under the battery in your phone...
it should be something like 11Wxx or 12Wxx..
