LED notification help. - Motorola Droid 3

Does anyone (including devs) know where to find the files to edit the LED notification light? I find the light to blink too slow for my liking, and I would love to be able to change the flash rate.. I have tried many LED control apps (LightFlow, Blink, etc) but none of them can change the flash rate. I am rooted, and have the ability to flash other ROMs.
Thanks in advance to any replies.

I found the led control files at /sys/devices/platform/leds-cpcap-rgb. All I can change is the brightness of the LEDs.. Thought I was onto something..

Nobody has any ideas? Maybe the led is controlled by the kernel?

What does the Lightflow app control? I have no idea. You could contact the dev of that.

Lightflow controls the led color, led flash speed, sound, and vibration of the phone for customized notifications. I emailed the dev a few hours ago, so if I'm given a solution, I'll share with you guys.

I asked the dev, he said I needed a custom rom with a different driver for the LED. So it can't be a stock (or based on stock) ROM.

That isn't entirely true. I know it works partially.

Yeah, it works, but the flash rate for the LED is what I want to change.

they should merge this Section wth O3D Section and add 3DmaX SU760 SU870 section
Who's in charge of making forums? Maybe we should try getting in touch with that person

I made a rom with ics dump and gb kernel but as expected didn't boot...I'm going to play with kernel but more then likely we will have to wait for root so someone can pull boot image. Also sounds like they locked or changed the bootloader.

anybody know if it has fixed the ghost call issue? I had to stop using my thrill since it was messing with my business, I was just about to return it to stock and sell it before i saw this thread

I don't understand your question. You said that it's been fixed but you don't know how to fix it? And which ROM? Please provide more information.

That's a known bug. Occurs for some and some people, such as me, don't have this problem at all. There's nothing you can do about it at the moment.

Is there a app, for non root, so I can customize the notification led? Or make it blink faster?

I've never seen that before. It lights up when you're charging?

It lights up when the phone is completely dead. I've only got it to do it twice now and the phone had to be 100% dead. This time it only lit up for about a second where the first time it was a solid green while it was charging. In another thread someone said they saw a solid green light on a demo at an ATT store.
This admittedly is news to me!

Woah...had no idea that was there. That's a really nice location to hide the LED. Neither Light Flow nor Tasker seem to be able to access it.

An LED that appears inaccessible by software so far. But I'm no Dev.
