I will try to compile it today
(as for now i do only know that maybe Launcher wont work)
but still some apps will work, as camera, music, gallery, widgets, and more

Progress may take a bit longer as my backup wont completly be backed up, phone freezed, and now i need to format whole Phone, in luck to get it to work

Ha ha i got all free time i can get. On school so on one can stop me hopefully i will make a zip today. I only need to delete the default theme .system. as i will change it to a MIUI theme

Hopefully a screen look setting list in settings so we can get MIUI lock screen
Based on cm7. With MIUI STYLE And some apps, hopefully new and effects and launcher

[REQ] Gingerbread status bar for Froyo

Would be great if someone can disponibilize a mod for the stock status bar gingerbread`s like.

Try using UOT kitchen website. You can create your own gingerbread status bar there. Give it a go.

I will have to do it tomorrow now as im off to bed but I promise I will do it tomorrow. I will pm you with the link to download it as soon as it is complete. Also what recovery do you use. CWM3+ or older. Its so o know what update zips I need to make.

Also I need the framework-res.apk from your phone to do it. If you can get that for me I can do it but I need the framework-res.apk. If you have root explorer then go to /system/framework/ and copy the file to your sdcard and send it to me or I cant do it.

Hi guys. I am in the process of making it now. For the compatability side of things it will all depend on if you are using custom or stock rom. if you are on stock firmware then i can do it with stock framework but if you are on a custom rom then i will need the framework from that specific. rom.

But I'm sure it works.
Using it is on your own risk - make a backup for your own security

The mod only contains modified png-files.
The source of this mod is your original framework-res.apk
I'm gonna rebuild this mod an post the new Cwm-package.

There was no bootloop all installed fine with a dalvik wipe, all that's gb themed is the battery though none of the signal bars or signal is themed is this right?

Customize lockscreen

Guys,
Is it really impossible to change lockscreen patterns and widgets in stock rom?
I am seriously trying to completely modify the way my stock rom looks. I have succeeded in modifying my status bar and notification power widgets using ninjamorph. But the lockscreen changes doesn't seen to work.
Can someone plz advise or point me to a reliable tutorial.
Any help will be much appreciated.

But that says that lockscreen mod will work on cm only. I tried it. Changes nothing on stock. Yes, its good to modify status bar but, not working for lockscreen. :-(

Actually its even a modification you can change even the way how to unlock and.. you can just change almost everything.

Lol, why don't you just make your life easier and flash a custom rom? ;D
There is a world of possibilities that you can do when flashing one. Specially CyanogenMod.

Yep, when u unlock the phone the slider changes the color. I have customized.those colors. Converted the red and green colors to sharp metallic black color.
Will try to create rings tomorrow in gimp and replace the bars with rings. Lets see how it goes.

You have 2 options -
1.Re-flash ROM and wipe cache and dalvik cache.
2.Restore system from a backup you had done before odexing.

I suggest you use google, google is YOUR ANCESTOR before this site exist, before android OS as Now as you use.
And why you want deodex.
Search bar on toprightcorner might usefull, I use it many time before I ask.
Though i will answer your Question.
You may use Xultimate.
Or
You can use Kitchen (not UOT kitchen) for advance.

today i installed miui by mr vadim and liked his icons very much
is there a way i can port or add there icons in other rom
i dont want these through some launchers

There were some icon packs made for the stock ROMs previously by people like Yawning cat for example. Download it, extract the contents, look up to each folder's contents & replace the icons you want with your favourite ones, repack using winzip, flash & reboot. Done !
