Hi, I had a P990 (who is simply un-brickable), so I'm comfortable with CWM, I ask to a friend who was passing by France to buy a i9305 for me, he bought one in SFR France, and delivered to me in Brazil.
Neither I or he knows if the phone has some type of carrier lock or something like that, the ROM is full of bloatware from SFR, I make the update on the phone over wi-fi (think it's called FOTA update, right) and now I'm on JB 4.1.2 version.
With *#1234# command, the info that shows is:
AP: I9305XXBMB4
CP: I9305AEBMB1
CSC: I9305SFRBMB1
Other info that could help:
Build Number: JZO54K.I9305XXBMB4
My problem is that trying to use my carrier in Brazil (VIVO), the phone has a very poor signal, it even sometimes in the signal strength at notification bar puts a Ø in place of the signal.
Other think that bugs me, is that in About device > Status, the field "My phone number" shows Unknown.
When I get the Ø in notification bar, if I go to About device > Status, the field "Service state" shows Disconnected, even if Signal Strength has more than 7 asu (think 7 asu is the minimum to get signal, right?)
So, my questions are:
1) Do I need to flash other ROM, CSC or modem, to get a good service in Brazil? Because phone is 100% stock from SFR France.
2) How can I know if the phone is carrier locked or something like that? If I flash a custom ROM, (like rXTREME) it will unlock carrier for me?
I have already make a backup of my IMEI using the tutorial in the DEV Section of our phone HERE and got the 250KB file.

Ok, but I go to SamMobile to get a firmware for my country (Brazil) and no GT-9305 firmware was for Brazil, only GT-9305T.
I find that the only difference is the 4G signal that the international version has more bands (800/1800/2600) than the GT-9305T (1800/2600).
My new questions are:
1) What's the differences from GT-9305 and GT-9305T?
2) Can I flash a CSC and Modem of a GT-9305T on my GT-9305 (without T)? It will not brick my phone?
Nice question i was wondering that too if it was possible to do so ?!

I am trying to flash CM11 from Maclaw, but when I reboot, I get a no sim error and CSC shows as unknown.
I have rooted my S3 mini. The stock ROM is customised by Three UK (H3G). On stock the CSC is i8190NH3GALL2. I have unlocked the network carrier so that I can use other network sims.
It seems I am losing the CSC code when I flash with CM11.
Can anyone help me updating the CSC code after I flash CM11 or pulling the CSC code from my stock ROM to upload after I flash?

I am having problems with reception on my phone and I just get "emergency calls only". Not sure what the problem is, but I read somewhere that it may help updating to latest software (which now is 4.4.2). I have rooted my device once, but I removed it. It says official in the status tab.
I have flashed my phone using ODIN and the right firmware from the site samsung updates dot com (canæt post links yet)
I got the 4.2.2 version for my country (Norway) and my mobile company which is Telenor.(version name: I9295XXUBMK3)
Am I locked to 4.2.2 when I do it this way or can I download any versions from the site which not fits my country and mobile company? (afraid of bricking)
It is an I9295 btw
And by the way. My phone is not locked to any operator.
Need expert advice to fix the phone. Friend of mine managed to break his device and now he turned to me for help. I don't have any history of the device but here are all details I can gather from about screen.
Phone is rooted and running custom recovery TWRP 2.5.X
Phone make model - LG G2 VS890 4G Verizon variant
Software - Simple ROM v1.1, kernal 3.4.0,
Build - LRX21Y
Android 5.0.1
Baseband - Unknown
Valid entries for ESN, MEID, IMEI
MIN, PRL VERSIN, ICCID is unknown
We wish to use this phone on any GSM network assuming Verizon version is GSM UNLOCKED.
If you need any more details please let me know.
So far I have tried flashing 12B and 24A radio using TWRP but no luck. Baseband is still unknown.
Any advice?
To answer my own post, I tried flashing Cloudy G2 2.2 ROM along with KitKat baseband.

Hello everyone..* here is my issue,* I have G935A mobile which was unlocked at version of 6. 0. 1 from* Saudi Arabia.* I flashed it with latest oreo* U firmware,* flashing was successful and the phone runs nicely, but i lost network coverage.* The phone only say emergency call only. <br>
