Try stocklite.
Or you could even try Cyanogenmod.

Do you install any script / mod for your battery? Because, I'm using SGSII ICS v9 too, but my battery is drain fast for just a day, for 3G and wifi.

Also, I don't like 7.1 very much and right now I'm waiting for 7.5.
So for now, I'd recommend the old version. (6.5 I guess?)

Lets make it clear for everyone.
Stock based rom = batt life saver
CM7 based rom = batt life eater
But in the end, it depends actually of the user how he uses his/ her phone to manage batt life.
sent via SGS III

i was using stocklite 7.5, before that one, stocklite version 6 (i think it was 6) but i found out that when i put it on 3g my battery drained too fast.. Now i'm using SGS 2 v.9 with 2g and i change it to 3g when i check flipboard, fb,etc

[Quick Question!] Stablest ROM for the Galaxy Ace?

Hey guys, need a quick answer!
My friend handed over his Galaxy Ace to me for a day and wants a nice and FAST ROM. Could you please help me specifying the ROM which is the stablest and the fastest as well. Waiting for your quick reply! I'm heading from the galaxy nexus forums so I have no idea.
[ROM] [04.05.12] CyanogenMod7.2 RC1 by vo-1 MIRACLE Edition V4 [...SIMPLY THE BEST!]
This is a real good rom. I use it for a week now and its stable, and fast. My ace run games, that were lagging before. I hope you like it too!
link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583871
if u r looking for CM roms, go for miracle v4
if u r looking for a stock rom.. go for Imaginary ICS, stock lite
Miracle v4 edition is simple the best

I tried miracle v4 and i found it to be very empty (stock app wise), i am using revenge sunday rc1.1 and it's working just great, everything is smooth and stable, i dont play games often so i cant tell about it.

Stocklite V6 or Miracle V4. Can't find anything for the ace better than those two.
Sent from my Super Galaxy Ace using XDA.
If you want the most stable ROM, you should stick with stock ROM. As far as I try, it has significant less FC than other ROMs.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using XDA
I think Sedan Class V2.5 is Stablest ROM for the Galaxy Ace
Been using miracle v4 for weeks.
Although it is a little bit too barebone at first, but you can just install what you want later on.
And it is the fastest rom i've ever use. Stuff like random reboot doesn't happened. However, I don't find it as the best rom when it comes to battery life.

Hey guys, I'm sadly a newbie to xda , but I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Basically, I'm in need of a VERY FAST ROM thats preferably either CM9 or CM10, CM7.2 is okay as well but no stock roms please! I send a lot of text messages daily and I'm heavily integrated with social networking so I need a fast rom, also a VERY GOOD BATTERY LIFE!
Thank you!

If u are a heavy internet user then go for <CM7.2 > It has great performance as well as battery life..
According to me don't go for <CM9> its oudated n not updated from a long time..its great though..
I would prefer <CM10.1> (4.2.1)..It has great performance ..n battery life depends on your usage..
For more info PM me..
Edit: Check here (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Xperiencecyanogen/395619180456847) Two great roms are released by Xperiance.Cyanogen..
If you want speed and battery life, don't go for cm9 or cm10.
You need MIUI or cm7.

the general impression is that kernels tame/ saddle the rom but Kingdroid v 7.1/ 7.4 , this is one rom that tames and saddles all kernels ,
choose CF root kernel in aroma for root and then switch to speedmod for battery and safety

seriously. RocketROM with Notecore. give as much battery time your grandsons will use it
btw ive been following rocketrom with notecore since its merging. instead of v12 use the latest version of hydracore 13.1b its latest version of notecore yet and is heavenly
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
I'm currently using the latest version of KingDroid now (I can't say much on RR as I've read numerous reports of people having problems migrating from RR to CM10, but that's on a different topic already), my kernel is still HardCore's SpeedMod. Though it may lack the performance it delivers on my phone, but I am fairly satisfied on the battery life that it gives out.

What is the Recommended Rom for save battery life??????
If you are really concerned about a good battery life, then go for stock firmware or stock based roms. Such as Jana rom.
I use Jana rom and the battery life is quite good.

Optimised battery i would think is a combination of both Kernel & Rom Apps, the stock kernel runs close to the 832 MHz frequency at most times even when the phone is idle. I always found my battery went fast when on stock firmware. RB's Kernel supports different frequencies and thus depending on the load on the CPU this can help save battery consumption. A bareboned ROM will also help keep power consumption low but the trade off is less app functionality on your phone.
See retribution gave me a very poor battery back up with 3G and wifi. But its quite fast. Right nw i am on stock deodexed XXLH3...with domscript and rafaels kernel. It gives me a 3/4th of a days use....with 3g and wifi.
Battery back up with simplicity V2 was quite good. But it has some app issues. (extreme bareboned). Kies doesnt recognise my fone. So had to restore my XXLH3 back up.

Go with stock....simplicity V3 would be released.....wait for that...V2 has some bugs.....but a good Rom...... Its based on XXLI1. So try using the stock deodexed version of that. Maybe that stock version has good battery life ( report back and let me know abt the battery drain, If you are going to use that )...
Otherwise XXLH3 is a good option.

Are you running WIFI and 3g permanetly all day? If so this will drain your battery pretty fast regardless of what ROM your using i would assume. The Simplicity ROM's are fast and smooth, but at the moment i would wait for its v3 release, im currently using Jillie Bean Beta2 which works for me. You need to be realistic about how much battery use you will get out of your phone, if its being left idle power off functions you dont need.

I agree with you. I do that with every rom i use. And till now simplicity was best at that. XXLA2 Roms didnt last long than these newer versions. Maybe there wud be some stock battery management tweaks. As of now...the battery has been getting better for me with every new updated stock version. I dont know about other users. I just check and try to bring out the best battery back up possible. And yes...thats what i told him above to wait for V3 simplicity.

Hey I'm about to maybe falsh to newest Simplicity V3.5 version.
But I have a question about this rom.
In the description it is said that it is based on "xxli1", right now I'm running a German Ace i with "XXLD2"
Can some one tell me if "XXLI1" will also support German language.
It is possible to import the language afterwards?
