Just wondering really want to go back to MOTO but seems they've gone off their original atrix formula atrix 2 and all but I would like to give the HD a chance. Can tethering be enabled w/o unlocking the bootloader or rooting? Or if a root comes out soon can it be turned on?

I use EasyTether Pro
worked good for me when I needed it.
I haven't tried it yet but this is in the settings menu:

Hi All,
i have done Google searchs the whole lot for Guangdong Zhaoqing which shows up when I am making or receiving calls where it would normally show "Calling", I am running King Droid 5.0 I have had this on the previous versions also. (4.4)
I have had other custom roms and I get the same thing.
Anybody have any idea what maybe causing this??

Go to phone settings, phone number locater, and untick anything ticked.this will fix your problem.

I am quite annoyed by that extra confirmation to activate your data connection either by tapping the toggle switch or from the settings
is there a way to disable that?

oops... sorry, forgot to mention that I'm on stock (10.3.1.A.0.244) 4.2.2

My upgrade is right around the corner. What would u suggest for a phone if u was on sprint and ur favorite ROMs was cm/aokp/slim? Now with a gs3, I was hooked on wicked and my wife still is.
If u wondering why I have the epic, it is because my other phone broke and don't wanna pay to replace when up grade is like this Friday.
For people with epic, all 4.2.2 ROMs r sweet. I haven't had the Bluetooth issue but do with wired mic. Was thinking if 4.3 gets stable like 4.2.2, I may hold off on upgrading.

I have to assume that that is a 4.4.2 update.has far as I have been able to tell, if you rooted using SlapMyMoto and WPNoMo, then update, you will retain root access but lose your ability to disable write protection via rebooting into recovery.

im not sure if this should go here but, im looking to adjust the size of my home keys i want to make them shorter, i use to be rooted i forgot what rom but i was able to adjust it, im currently stock un rooted and was wondering if theres an app for that or do i need to be rooted? im on 4.4.2 btw
You have to be rooted. After root use g2 xposed from the play store. It works perfect.
