So I just picked up my Nexus 7, and I am looking around for a case until something more to my liking comes out (incipio, otterbox)

It'll probably fit, but I would get a regular Nexus 7 case from Amazon since the one in your link is $20.00, there are cases for the Nexus 7 that are half that price that you could use until a good one comes out.
I have a Marware Fire sleeve, and it does NOT fit. The N7 is longer.

It should give me enough protection until a case that I love comes out.
The reviews for it said that it is a little longer than required for the Fire, so hopefully it will just be perfect for the Nexus 7. If not, Amazon has a great return policy.

I picked up a Belkin Pleat Sleeve for the Kindle Fire from Target for $9.99. It was marked down from $29.99. Fits the Nexus 7 perfectly. I'll use it until the Moko Slim Fit case arrives.
I was happy to find an inexpensive case that I could buy and use immediately. The N7 was looking naked and unprotected.
It will be at least a week before my order for the Moko Nexus 7 case arrives.
Meanwhile, I found a good inexpensive temporary case: the Belkin Pleat Sleeve for the Kindle Fire on sale at Target for $9.99. I believe it is being discontinued as new cases for the current Kindle model is being introduced. (The similar case for the new Kindle is $29.99.)

The fit is pretty much perfect. Nice and snug, not loose, not larger than the case. The cases come in black and plum.

It's a sleeve, not a case with a cutout.
Yeah I'm looking in the market for a case.. But I wanted to see what you guys would recommend for a case I'm not trying to go over 20$ but that's without shipping lol...

I just ordered the yoomee case from amazon.
its only $6, techincically its for the fire, but fits the nexus perfectly, and even has a strap that you can put a magnet under turning it into a smart cover
geek.com has the article, but I can't post the link because i am a noob to the forums.
it will work until they start making quality cases that are form-fitted correctly.

If you want a good sleeve try the timbuk2 kindle fire plush sleeve, fit is nice and firm
I had an Acase for my xoom and it was almost identical. I loved this case. Just sold my xoom yesterday and my nexus 7 will be here tommorrow. That put me in search for another case. I'll be getting this one. I can vouch that this case for my xoom was top notch. Greaty quality.

I can also vouch for Acase in general, I had a case similar to the N7 one for my touchpad, probably one of the best cases I've ever had. Very nice quality and feel.

Chances are they all come out of the same factory in China, the advantage to buying a named brand would be not getting one of the early types with the magnet that was too strong.
Just bought this Case 10$ with free amazon prime two day shipping. Looks great and very generic so it will fit any 7" tablet. Also has the built in magnet that will wake and turn off the tablet. I'll post some pics when it arrives friday. Enjoy
