Made for the Kindle Fire, fits the Nexus 7 perfectly. It is a sleeve...and a very high quality one at that. The inside lining is "faux fur" style, and is extremely soft (pictured later...). Between the outer material and the fur is a layer of memory foam that seems like it will protect against every day bumps. The outer material is pretty rugged. Timbuk2 claims that it is TSA approved/compliant. I've included some pictures.
The 7 fits extremely well in this sleeve. There is very little wiggle room. The clasp that holds the whole thing together is just velcro, but I suspended the whole kit upside down and the tablet didn't fall out...so it seems pretty secure. Entire sleeve is fairly thin, which is exactly what I was looking for until more cases hit the market. Three color options, the one pictured, black, and brown.
The only real downside to this is the price, which is between $24.99 and $29.99 from Amazon. As a perk though, as a prime member I got a $5 amazon MP3 credit because I spent more than $20 on Kindle accessories.

This is the sleeve I've been looking for all along. It will match my TB2 backpack quite nicely.
Looks like a kitchen mitten.

It does, doesn't it? I kinda like the look, but I could definitely see it being a little divisive.
There *might* be enough room to fit the 7 in this sleeve with a thin case on it, like a TPU or Ipad-like smart-cover. If that is the case (lol!) it'll be perfect.
Can't say enough about the build quality and materials, they are great!
I have this code for my galaxy tab 8.9.
Top quality for sure.

I ordered a Treegloo case but wanted a case I could utilize for the next 2 weeks. Went to my local Office Depot and found this case for the Galaxy Tab on sale for 14.99+tax. Very snug fitting, only port covered is the headphone but with some wiggling you can utilize it. I love it so far and I wanted to share with you all looking for a case.

I just bought this same case.
Pros:
Fits nice and snug. Feels like carrying a nice leather bound hardback book. The strap is nice, holds the cover on well and comes off easy when you want it too. Horizontal stand is great for watching movies or hands free operation on a table.
Cons:
It's a bit thick for me though, I really just want something that barely increases the size yet still can protect the screen. Without the cover I can pocket my nexus 7. But it's too thick with the cover.
Funny that you mentioned this... I just got the same one for my Nexus. I have one for the iPad as well. It's a great case, really well made, and not cheap feeling or looking. I tried like 6 or 7 of them and found one that was nearly perfect. Not terribly hard to remove for gaming either, and does double duty with real drop protection should that happen (already tried it unfortunately, all good so far). This same case saved my ipad from a 6 foot fall on concrete floors... Good stuff. Get one before this hits SlickDeals, or you won't be able to find one!
I thought that I would share this discovery! Like many of you that previously purchased a slim case for your Transformer Prime/Infinity tablet and now finding yourself with a totally different tablet (Nexus 10). The case you bought is now incompatible. What are you to do? Cough up more cash for a new case to fit your N10? Sure but you don't have to. Here is what you can do with no tools other then your own hands to make your incompatible Poetic slim case or something similar to fit your new N10!
* I discovered that the the four corners that hold the tablet in place and the two inner place holders are actually bendable! You can force these holders to bend and flex to fit your N10 snuggly. That's it! Saved you the need to buy another case
(Don't be afraid to force it when your bending it to shape. It will take some pressure.)
See photos below...
(These photos were after bending them all to shape. Sorry didn't think to shoot the before pictures:/)

*If you want to install a sleep/ wake feature for when you close the lid. All you need is a magnet like the ones on your refrigerator, like I did with mine and just cut it to fit the magnet snug like what I did below. The magnet I used had a soft foamy material that worked out nicely.
I no longer need to buy a case now that the one I had for the Infinity fits just fine for my new N10! Hopefully this helps you!

Good for you bud. Looks awesome.
And good to know that many cases fit the Nexus 10.

Thanks. Yeah just a little adjustment here and there Normally the case would be too big but since I was able to bend it, it all worked out.

This one seems to offer good protection, a hard shell inside a book style casing. No mention of a magnet.

Arrived early an looked very nice. Applied screen proector (always difficult on big Screens) one of the better protectors I have used, Fitted Nexus very well and all charging an buttons accesible. Turns device on an off as you open and close. Very happy with for £5 I paid"
Bit annoying that he only paid £5 for it when they're now £12 but even at that it's not a bad price.
It just seems like another of a million already available cases. All these dealextreme/ebay cases all look the same to me, and a case is a case, they're all plastic, and they will prevent scratching the screen, that's about it.
I've fallen for this one

Does this mean you already have that case? If so, what do you think of the pleather quality wise?

I posted the original link because I saw a case that took two properties of common cases that are not found together anywhere else, the book style cover enclosing the hard plastic shell. It's too bulky for my use but that doesn't mean it's not going to appeal to someone else, it deserved a link for that reason.
I just wanted to recommend a product I just received today. Go check out her etsy store. You can get handmade sleeves for just about any device and if your device isn't there, just let her know what you want and she'll make it for you. This sleeve is made with a durable dark denim material on the outside and a stylish, soft colored interior fabric. Well-made and incredibly cheap. I got mine for just $16 + $5.50 shipping. She is based in Latvia so it takes a week or two to get to you but it is well worth the wait. For those of you who are going naked (no case on the Nexus), I highly recommend this seller's product. Even her packaging is well thought out and well designed.

Anyway, there's the link. And no, I am in no way affiliated with this seller.

How tight is it? Could I fit my N7 inside my Poetic case?

Those look really nice, actually. Though I usually don't go for just cloth cases.

No, but you could measure how much extra thickness and width it adds to your tab and send her a custom request. I don't think it costs any extra.. but don't quote me on that. My naked Nexus 7 slides easily, just perfectly, into the sleeve. With my thin incipio hardshell case it was a bit difficult to slide it, though possible. It also has to do with the slightly rubberized texture of the incipio case though.
And yeah, the case is just cloth with some soft fluffy batting inside for some padding. It is actually surprisingly durable, though from a 5 foot fall straight onto the corner of the tab, I'm not sure how much protection it will offer. Though, the corners are probably the best padded part. For throwing in a book bag it's pretty perfect.
Just wanted to post a quick review on this case since I haven't seen any info on it here yet. First of all I was only looking for a case to add a bit more grip to this slippery phone, something with minimal bulk and minor drop protection. This case fits the bill perfectly, very slim fitting to the shape of phone with little to no sagging all around. The soft tpu material is very similar to diztronic cases, no silicone messiness here. Has a nice matte, almost sandy finish and I love it gives it the grip I was looking for. Cutouts line up perfectly, and are big enough for all headphones/usb cables that I own, the power button is also cutout so ir blaster should work have yet to test it. The button feel for the volume rockers is completely responsive feels natural as without the case. Drop protection is present but my guess is only small drops will be absorbed (I'm not willing to test this lol). Best part of this case is that it follows the line designs of the back of the phone so it still keeps that awesome design. All in all a great minimal case and and at only $8 shipped with prime it's pretty much a steal. Here's the link, http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00IMBUAL8?pc_redir=1398628301&robot_redir=1
edit: eye candy goodness!

I have this case currently. recieved it a few days ago. pretty solid case as i normally don't use cases at all, big fan of the naked feel. it doesn't add that much bulk at all to the phone and fits on the phone very snug so it won't fall off. covers all the corners and all the ports are easily accesible
I just got this case as well. Great fit, great feel, nice slim profile. Highly recommended!
