Yes, as per-instruction. Clear data,dalvik,format system,flash zip n etc .. During aroma installer running, i do have made my own selection on it.is that give any effect on boot ? Or i just need to hit next until finish? Which is no need to select any of option during aroma installer running.
By the way, current im using divine 1.1.

Hey u must first flash stock ics, then get root and CWM then u can flash if u are on divine 1.1

what ROM are you coming from? bootloops happen when there's a CWM mismatch.
your next step from the bootloop is to pull battery and go to recovery using the button combo depending on your bootloader. then reflash following per OP's instructions.

Try flashing from Glitch kernel, flash the kernel/advance/reboot into recovery and fellow step1 to 8 again.

when boot loop, pull battery, enter cwm, clean flash again with essentials

it's really not that complicated.
Im really liking the ROM so far! I just had to add and take away a couple apps + build.prop edits and init.d scripts (personal preference, no offense OP). But the ROM itself SUPERB.
Lastly, there's no Gallery bundled in the Base ROM, i had to add that in myself before flashing.
Is the mute and unmute issue on this rom?

Here are 2 bugs I found...
1. Whenever I apply a theme, the phone icon stays the same...never gets themed...while the others do.
2. Whenever I'm changing the brightness manually the pop up has these weird graphical glitches...a part of it basically disappears. This happens elsewhere too.
Can anybody confirm these?
Edit: Also, I was curious to know, does the Galaxy Nexus MIUI use a low-res port from Nexus S or new graphics altogether?

have done all the things, but screen stays black after reboot. anyone knows the failure?
If you remove the battery and boot into recovery again and the recovery is redpill then it is the kernell that causes the problem to my knowing. I have not tried this rom so I'm not exactly sure if the package also flashes the ics kernell. If not then just flash Chainfire ICS repack again and then reboot the phone, download chainfire's ics kernell and put it on SD, reboot into recovery and flash Abyss 3.9 ( to get redpill ), reboot recovery and flash villamiuiX.zip once it is done flash Chainfire's ics kernell again and reboot system.
This is how i got my phone going on TRR1.5.
Correct me if I am wrong anyone.

1. Please re-read > TIPS section @OP
2. Yes it gets laggy, if you change to another theme than default , it becomes smoother , I recommend you the M9 theme !

i read in some posts that to go from stock based custom roms to aosp based roms.. you have to go to cm based rom first for full wipe may lead to hard brick.. pls clarify!

You just have to be on a safe kernel for wiping it.

It's only your kernel that matters when wiping and flashing, Roms have nothing to do with it.

why do u ask ,try it if it drains this technique works for any cm10
-switch to "cfq" in i/o scheduler
-install pimp my rom "aroma"
select anything related to vm-battery-interactive tweaks
i got with this about 21h of battery and still on 34%

If the 3G is turned on? Because that's when the battery drains very fast - 3% within 2 minutes.
I installed Pimp my rom alpha through the google market, should I use the Pimp my Rom through CWM instead? because the battery drain doesn't seem to have changed that much.

im not using 3g at all however i use 2g and most of the time wi-fi ,, of course there is still stupidness of the cm10 kernel that wastes power on nothing but smoothness

I see, it's ok. I'm relying mainly on 3G and battery life is a top priority for me when using custom ROMS, as far as possible. Not going to stay on official Ice Cream Sandwich for too long either.

Well, the original miuiandroid ROM is the best, but it has some issues (though minor) but frustrating since they haven't been resolved from past 2 months of official release of MIUI4 for vivo.
So, This is just the basic MIUI ROM rebased to ARHD to fix various issues observed in the original miuiandroid ROM + various added tweaks as below:
No need to replace boot.img or ril files prior flashing
Removed incorrect updater-script entries
Added correct symlinks for Busybox so that Supercharger script don't tell me that I don't have Busybox installed!
Added SuperSU

this is really great - miui was one of my favourites and it really annoyed me that the last few builds from MIUIandroid.com havent booted, but this worked first time with the beastmode kernel.

Hmmm. I can't get this ROM to boot. Just gets stuck at the HTC logo. Did a full factory reset plus dalvik and cache wipe. No joy.
How is this ROM? Is keyboard lagging? Is browser fast?
Ok, I downloaded the ROM a second time, and tried installing it again using the SuperWipe EXT4 option in Recovery. Seems to have worked.

Lockscreen
The previous version of MIUI i used had the lockscreen rendered at 15 fps and it looked really laggy. can someone confirm the lockscreen on this is smooth, as well as the scrolling?
does anyone know why i cant link facebook to my contacts? has that option been removed from facebook and i didnt notice? or is there something wrong on my end lol
