Why still LG giving updates v20f, v20g, etc.? is it necessary? Just yesterday LG released V20G update for OB

Maybe yes, maybe no.
Maybe the ICS update is being developed at the headquarters in Korea while the frequent Gingerbread updates are being developed by specific countries.

Yes. As different countries have different baseband frequency. And some are bugged up with the local provider.

Sad, but true Im afraid :-(. I never expect 2.3 EVER to come to the 2X. If it does, it will no doubt be as bad as 2.2 is!!.
a few german news sites means, official 2.3.4 come next 3 weeks.

General concenus is that it's a huge amount of work for very little gain to move to 2.6.36
Motorola is doing the same with the Gingerbread update for the Atrix. That is, not updating the kernel.
LG have only 3 weeks to release GB maby its this a reason for old kernel.

What are you talking about??? Its not like LG started to create the update from today! It has been months underway!
It shouldn't take 6 months for LG to update the kernel.. Just look at samsung. Galaxy S got gingerbread short after the source code was released.. WITH an updated kernel :O I wonder if they base gingerbread of 2.6.32 just to get the update out, and to update it later, or if they'll never update it It's a shame, really..=(

Today LG Mexico anounce in his official Twitter that the verssion 2.3.6 of android will be released for Telcel on February the 1st. This can be confirmed in the Twitter Account @LGMexico

And the only interesting thing about it - Project Butter - is probably not even portable for Custom Roms. But let's wait... it's too early.
I am pretty sure we won't be getting 'official JB' on our phone....even if LG claims to provide it

Flash the European V30a kdz with NVFlash. there are guides showing you how to do it. Or just use CM10.
