Hello. I know I'm pretty new here, but i'm a happy owner of a nexus S since december 2011, and I'm loving it.
Here's what i'm looking for (and not finding anywhere on the market): a nice agenda app which would allow me to set the default duration of a meeting (or with a defaut time stuck a 30mn, I'll take it too).
In addition to this unique feature, it would be nice if it was a bit like google.com/calendar: "dimensionable" appointement with a stretch, and/or drag'n drop of the "misplaced" mettings.
Also, an option which would allow to hide "night time" (midnight to 7am for exemple) would be much appreciated.
if someone know such features, or could tweak the google agenda, it would help me greatly.
PS: i'm currently on "stock" jelly belly 0.1.5.1 but I could switch to paranoidandroid (or another ROM) if it was needed.
Many thanks to all thoses who will help me
edit: Please excuse me if such a thread has already been made, but i couldn't find it.
aCalendar had drag and drop to move appointments. If I remember. I use only stock calendar since using Paranoid because of tablet settings of stock calendar looks great.
My favorite agenda is "Pure Calendar Widget - agenda". Try it.

My bad, aCalendar does not have drag and drop function but business calendar does.
Businesses calendar also have nice agenda widget but it only work with this calendar.

Do you mean no gmail synchronisation ?
I tried aCalendar. It's usefull but not perfect. Tried google agenda on a a500, doesn't fix my issu either...
I'm still searching.

I'd like a smaller (not 8 spaces, maybe a small 4 spacer) Facebook widget that I can update my status on without seeing others' statuses roll by. Is this available?
Also, I'm new to foursquare, and I'd rather not scroll down my list to open up the app, click over to location, and check in. Any widget with a quick checkin?

While ADW Does allow me to resize, it doesn't ask in what direction. It is cutting off the status entry portion and leaving me with the unwanted section. Solution?

Facebook For Android is a piece of ****. I hate that people actually like it. The iPhone version is twenty times better....seems like the Android app was coded by an utter retard.
Flow is awesome: better even than iPhone official version of Facebook which - while good - suffers far more annoying bugs.
Through Flow you can set up push notifications easily through its gmail interception system. They work immediately and look brilliant. If you turn the popup on then when someone comments it shows their picture and what they said in a little window. You can scroll through multiple popups. notifies you for everything you have set up Facebook Emails to tell you about.
It supports loads of things that Facebook for Android doesn't support such as tagging, untagging, deleting posts, viewing 'likes', setting profile pictures and uploading whole albums from the gallery at full size. Not too keen on the icons on the main menu but the developer is working on it.
Also it doesn't keep you logged into chat 24/7 and drain your battery, nor does it link to the browser everytime you try and do anything. Only thing it doesn't support is inbox (owing to Facebook API I believe) but it does give push notifications of inbox messages and opens up the requisite page in the mobile site.
Flow for Facebook all the way - absolutely phenominal. Screw the official app.

Why would you want chat within the app? Its a piece of crap on iPhone too and drains battery like hell as it doesn't keep you logged in server side. You can download Beejive for Facebook for FREE. It not only keeps you logged in for as long as you choose to but its very reliable and uses c2dm so uses next to no battery.
Screw chat within the app.
For a great widget use Launcher Pro. Best Facebook widget I've seen.

IPhone Facebook app is a lot better than Facebook for Android but it still leaves a lot to be desired. Notifications are clunky and when you open up a push notification it doesn't refresh the notifications feed itself upon opening. Photo comments OFTEN don't show even though you've been sent a notification of one - often takes a number of restarts and refreshes to show them. Lots of other little bugs. Like I say, iPhone app IS better BUT just look on iTunes at reviews of the app to see that it is less than perfect!
Thanks, i just bought Flow for facebook and its great!
Flow is actually nice but the lack of a widget lets it down.
thanks everyone for responfding
i just installed flow and like it so far
gun bros
FLOW developer is working on a widget I believe.
The app now has an integrated quick reply feature so when your notification popup appears you can immediately respond to it without even leaving the screen you're in. Pretty brilliant I reckon and I've seen nothing like it on any other platform.
thanks for flow
I would love to be posting this in the Minimoto thread, but the forum is not allowing me to...
I installed 1.51 last night with no issues. For the most part, quick and snappy which is what my wife was looking for.
I've run in to two issues thus far.
The first is trying to add a calendar widget. After getting to the calendar selection screen and pressing done, it FC's calendar storage and does
not add the widget. Possible one of the default calendars is dependant on a package not installed?
The second is adding Hotmail using EAS. This one might be me as I didn't get a chance to experiment as the phone vanished from my hands after I finished switching ROMs. There seem to be two options for adding Hotmail. Either "Corp" or "Corp Sync". If I use Corp, it defaults to POP3/IMAP. If I use Corp Sync, EAS is set up correctly but I cannot open up email. I'm thinking Corp Sync is part of Blur and there is a piece not installed. I wasn't able to find a way to change Corp to use push/EAS.
If a kind moderator could move this question to the correct thread, I would greatly appreciate it.

Calender widget works for me
An upgrade to 1.61 which has the native calendar app now allows the calendar widget to work properly.
I flashed 1.7 recently and I reinstalled my apps and setup my settings and such. Then when I reboot my phone, everything is wiped like it's a fresh install.
Running safestrap. don't know if that is the problem or not.
Hi everyone
I've installed on my wife's Galaxy Ace the Rom DroidAce, but I can't find a widget to display Google Agenda on a full desktop.
I don't understand if it's because of the ROM CM7, or if it's a bug on the phone, or something else, but the widget agenda display only the next event on a 2:1 widget, even if I resize it, there is still only the next event only, not the others next. (sorry for my english)
For me on the HTC Desire HD with Sense, I can display on a 4:4 widget my google agenda with a scroll and see all of my events.
Do you know what I have to do to make the same on the Ace ?
Thanks a lot !
up
ANd another question on DroidAce, the Holo launcher ask for an update, but it failed, caused by a non-signed package something, if I remember correctly, do you have any clue of what I need to do to correct that, except re-install ?
Thanks
up
I've found one working ...

Hello everyone - first post!
My One arrived today, like some of the lucky few it seems, and I've just been trying to setup the apps I want to be present on the dock. However, I cannot seem to edit these? I can move them around, but when you drag them off the dock, it creates a shortcut on that homescreen, but the app "re-appears" again on the dock?
All I want to do is replace the HTC stock browser with Chrome on the dock, and add Mail in place of the camera, but this no longer seems possible?
Anybody have any ideas, or am I just being stupid in missing something obvious?
Any help appreciated!
Cheers.
Try to do when the app drawer is open

Correct you have to do it, while app list is open.
Thanks, that did it! :good:
