What happend with overclock\undervolt kernel
Is there any kernel I can use with stock official ICS on my Sensation XL - phone is unlocked and rooted , but I preffer stock ROM
I am very interested to play with overclock/ undervolt on my phone.
Is there any way to clock GPU speed on ours SensXL , will be a better option than to overclocking CPU
Cheers

Hi all
I 've wildfire with root access .I tried to flash it with all custom ROMS's, only CyanogenMod run after reststart but wasn't stable, others couldn' t even start after reboot. Loaded kernels ,without OC dosn't help. I only need try OC .Can it be done without reflashing whole ROM ??
Ok done with Jacob Kernel
So far stable on 652MHz .Visible speed difference in google maps
I use the stock HTC Wildfire ROM overclocked @768Mhz and sometimes it just get fkd up when i write messages ... Im gonna change phone asap

My HTC switches off casualy on 768Mhz i think this is too high for any Wildfire
Mine seems stable now at max 652mhz and min 245mhz ... i get like 3.8 mflops and I think thats nice?
Mine works fine on cyanogenmod with oc 768 mhz
i have a question do you have to flash a custom ROM to OC your wildfire?
or can you just have the ROM you got when you bought your phone root the phone and then flash OC kernel?

Kernel from this topic:

Stock ROM-my Wildfire is completly "resistant" to any custom ROM(do not boot ,crash, screen freezes etc)

How to..
Hi, how do I overclock? I mean, what app do I have to use? I also find a picture showing the temperature in the status bar - maybe it is also possible to show the speed as well.
M.
buy SetCpu from android market
Mines can do 748mhz ,but if i set 768mhz,it can't boot and become a "soft brick"(use clockwork mod recovery to recover it)
I use cyanogen mod 7 #17
I found 691 to be most stable for every ROM i tried so far. SetCpu can be found free somewhere in the XDA forum.
I have clockworkmod recovery flashed, trinity xl v2.5 flashed (with the unity v10 by mdj kernel included).
Mine is hboot 1.16 s-on bootunlocked.
So heres the question: After flashing the rom, does this means my phone is overclocked/underclocked? (according to the mdj kernel).
There is a difference on the available ram. I've check my cpu frequecy at quadrant standard and it says max:2ghz min: 128mhz. But in antutu benchmark, it show the stock cpu frequency for incs :/
Did you try with SetCPU or No Frills, even Android Overclock should work.
Try to flash Lord's or Rcmix 11.1 kernel if issue persists.
Well I think this is the problem for hboot 1.16 s-on. But i'm pretty sure its overclock and underclock. When I was at my stock rom, available ram was like 200mb+
Now its 300mb+

Then you have just to wait for revolutionary, because HBoot controls such settings as overclock and underclock/undervolt etc.
hey i wanted to know:
what is a good stable high performable overclock frequency for power/3d games??
Currently I have: HTC Incredible S rooted with runnydr0id 2.1 rom (android 2.3.5)
i have it overclocked to 1.3 ghz max. with setCPU
is this good ? do i need more?
mine is on 1.4ghz via CM7 settings. i think im using the brazilian wax governor from lord clockan kernel. 100% stable, havent had any reboots of slowdowns and the phone is incredible-y ( ;] ) quick all round.
So the title says it all. How did you tweak up your IncS? And what custom or stock Rom your tweaking.

That sounds dirty
Yup. Flash a custom rom. Overclocking CPU is not recommended.

Okay so I'm on the stock HTC Sense 3.5 ICS 4.0.3 rom (rooted I had to mention) Rogers HTC Raider.
When I try to change the 2D and 3D GPU frequencies they just automatically swipe back on the stock frequency, is this some kind of a frequency lock? Is there a way to remove this? (Except flashing a custom kernel please, try to feel my misery, thankyou).
Helpful comments are appreciated.

No... No adjusting GPU frequencies on stock... You need a custom kernel
Sorry
