Reinstall your market or try fix permissions with rom manager.

I have the same problem....Any help,pls?
I'm on GingerDX at the moment and I've lost the ability to boot into xRecovery but I can still boot into CWM. I want to try restoring a backup to see if it fixes the problem but is it safe restoring a backup with CWM originally made with xRecovery?

You cant do that. Just use seus and restore your phone and install xrecovery

You know, I could just install another ROM and the problem would be possibly fixed but I'm asking just for future use.

Yeah. Cuz most roms have xrecovery preinstalled so that might fix the problem

I'm on xperiatized ics and rooted. However if I go into root explorer, I can't change from ro to rw. Anything which requires root will say superuser has denied it or it hasn't obtain root access yet. Can anyone help?

Hi jumper62!
You could try updating super user app or installing new binary from superuser/ info.
Also, you could try Superuser Update Fixer (free aplication from the market)
Just in case, perhaps you could try installing yor ROM again.
Good luck.

Flash any superuser package meant for arm like universal gb root
And then optional steps are below
Install supersu from market then open it
It will ask to update su binary just do it and you would be good to go

Hello, maybe someone can answer my question.
I have upgraded my fone with smoothiejb. I have to say it runs perfect.
Before I had rooted the fone and used lbe lifeguard.
I can't use it now, because the fone jams.
Do I have to root it again? I also can't use some other apps because of that anymore.
But when I checke it says it is rooted.
Sorry for my bad english
Do you have SuperUser installed?
