Hello everyone
I am facing a wierd problem with my SGA. The phone dose not switches on by pressing power key. I have to plugin charger every time I when need to reboot/poweron & when the green battery icon appears then only I am able to power on my phone.
Further details-
- Problem on all roms (CM7/CM9)
- Phone dosent reboots or go into recovery mode if selected from power menu. It just switches off then again I need to plugin.
- Rest everything works
Any help would be appreciated!
Edit1: just tried another battery!! Problem solved!!
Edit2: this morning when I woke up their is still the same issue even when I am using new battery.:banghead:

So that my battery wouldnt heat so mutch... I know that if battery gets warmer than 40 degrees celsius it shortens its lifetime.
Then keep using your battery and charger alternatively.

Someone can take it and blacklist the phone so it won't work on the network
IMEI removed, you need to be more cautious sometimes
Do you have access to the sim slot? If so, could you take a close up picture and post it. The sim ejection mechanism is what is causing the rattling noise in a lo of phones. I want to find a way to fix that.
PS. How did you get your hand on a replacement screen?

Well,it would be very odd to be a hardware issue since it started out of the blue, and I always take very good care of my phone(never dropped it etc.)..
I am going to take it,but it's still eastern around here and everything is closed..and I'm also not excited about them keeping my phone for probably a few days or weeks, because they tend to do so...
Thats why I was desperately looking for a solution here..

Well,I decided to share with all of you what a bunch of scumbags the guys at Samsung are.
I went today with my phone over there at the main customer service center, here in my country.
I no longer have a warranty or a bill from the phone.
The guy there told me they cand check the phone out,and tell me what reparations it needs, and if I dont agree with the price they tell me,I have to pay 12 euros for their trouble.I accepted and waited for over 2 hours, and then they tell me that my phone needs to have the DISPLAY and the frickin' MOTHERBOARD replaced, for a total of 200 euros, given the fact that I specified what my issues where,RIL etc...
So basically, almost the whole phone had to be replaced. So I payed the damn 12 euros and went home.
I never encountered a bigger attempt at a ripoff in my life.
Anyway,RIL started working again, don't know how,but it works like before.I'm still trying to figure out what the problem was though, because I dont want it to happen again.

Or even tried to remove the battery
I would rather the button configuration present on the face of the toy then my note 2, if it took up the same space.
I miss the optical trackpad of my doubleshot, it was built into the button.
I could go for a few more hardware buttons, but don't want them encroaching on the screen space.

Hi!
Could you post that picture on an external site? Would really like to see, if it resembles what my pebble does, but for some reason I've had problems with pictures and files stored on xda (~pictures that appear as thumbnails).
Anyways, what mine does: at random, the text gets a lot smaller and then it's certain, that it's soon going to slow down, then crash, and finally reboot - have had it under a week, I've had only one full charge, but I can't see how long my pebble lasts, because it reboots and that starts the up time counter again. I'd say it does that once every day or two, and when I flash wachfaces, -apps a lot, then more frequently, then also the flashing stops with half a loading bar and says everything is completed, but nothing happend on the pebble
Hope you understand what I meant, as I once again ended up just rambling on and on!

Go to eBay. Search for "pebble watch screen protector".
I've had most luck with ones marked xtremeguard or sshieldz, but even those tend to peel at the corners after a month or so.
Avoid any that only cover the square screen part of the face.
Be cautious about the colored/textured ones. Some of them only cover the colored part and leave the screen unprotected.
