I9001 and touchscreen fw problem - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I tried to update my touchscreen driver but somehow my phone aborted it and now my touchscreen is not responding at all, picture is normal but I can't use it. So I will be very grateful if someone more experienced in this problem can help me because I was searching for this model on google and I didnt find anything

Yes. This will be the only option for you.
There is no need to update the touchscreen firmware anyway

I tried it allready but didnt helped, I was searching and I found guide how to restore that driver but in galaxy fit and there are files but I am pretty sure that they are different than in galaxy s plus so I didnt tried, if any developer can help me with this I would be very grateful because my phone is unusuable standing in my room

No warranty because sea make some corosion, but can I use androidscreencast?

So you can go to service point and pay them for repairs. Maybe it won't be that expensive.

[Q] GTS5830 Display is just flashing/flickering

Hi, i've a Problem mit the Galaxy Ace (GTS5830)
Every time i strat the Phone the Display is just flashing..Its like turn on turn off the whole time.
I tried to flash it back to stock but after the auto restart from odin it starts flashing again.
I don't know what i can do about it.

is the phone stuck in bootloop, or is the screen stuffed up, which could mean problems the cable connecting the screen to device inside the phone, or the screen itself
I think it's not stuck in Bootloop.
I did a Youtube Video to show, what happen if i turn on the Phone.

Have you got the firmware yet? Could you post here the firmware's zip name?
There are a lot of galaxy ace model and yes there are lot of firmwares and exacly what you need are GTS5830 firmawares

Maybe the firmware file is corrupted try downloading it again or try flasing Spanish KTM FOP or KT7 from Germany I always use Spanish KTM as base

I only saw that twice ... the first was after a bad use of rom manager and other was aftr touching efs partition

S5830i uses a different Odin from our phone, be very sure that you're using the right one.
Also, I don't know if this works, but you can try flashing a full package firmware.

Russia (KPH) and Germany (KTE) are full package firmwares , go to sammobile and get it

Try to take out battery, hold power button + home key + volume down than put in the battery in. Obiviously ask someone to help you XD
P.S. Pull out SD card and SIM card also

I told you not to use Odin3. Odin3 is not for S5830. The steps to flash ROMs through the correct version of Odin is in General

I used Odin 4 multidownloader...Not Odin3. I just ask If I can use Odin 1.85 with re-partition select and firmware with .pit file..?
Because I had SIII Mini and was same problem with upgrade to SIII. Then I checked firmware Russian and there was re-partition selected and the pit. After flash I could flashing the official firmware...
EDIT: oh I am sorry now I know 1.85 is Odin3 :-/
EDIT2: Is the port good setting? Sometimes pc write error2 can´t connect with COMport...

I777 unbricked now gt-i9100 and don't know how to change it back ?

I unbricked my i777 using an unbrick method for the i9100 it worked but now my home key works as my back key and the only other button that works is my menu key which does what it should, a USB jig won't even put it in download mode now, please tell me there's a solution to this I'm running 4.0.3 -_- would appreciate all your help and input thanks!

you need to go here and most likely reflash the original Firmware, for download mode look here for guidance

Thanks but I got it going, had to root it then go into cwm and installed shostock ROM for i777 , got it all Woking again I appreciate the help though

Hi, My Galaxy Mini(GT-S5570) had been fixed by jtag recently then after a day i flashed stock firmwares that i downloaded and now my
Baseband Version
UNKNOWN
IMEI
UNKNOWN
i had researched about restoring the efs folder partition but i dont have a backup of it
and reflashing the Modem.bin.md5 nothing seems to work it just got worst
there is no sound at all and the camera keeps saying "Camera Failed callbackerror(01)"
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS PLEASE.

If you had no backup of efs folder, there is no way to restore it. Now you have a nice MP4 player running android.

Hmmh... fine then, reflash your phone with four-packaged firmware. That'll solve Camera and Sound problem.

Hmmh... some four-packaged firmware is in sammobile.com
the camera problem wont be solved even if you flash four package frmware ....trust me you have live with it....unless it magically starts working like it did for me....

Sorry man, I am new here. I am saying that all roms based on Sony latest firmware. 201 doesn't install on my phone, I always get the same error on all of those.
