Has anyone seen a powered speaker dock that uses then pogo pins for easy mount and dismount? Be nice if Bose made on like the one for iOS crap

Recently they (Asus or Google) released a landscape desktop dock with pogo pins for the n7. There is an aux in port to connect speakers for what I've read.... maybe your base speakers can connect that way?
Cheers,

FYI, a search for POGO in this Nexus 7 Accessories forum turns up the following thread...
Nexus 7 POGO GPIO PINS on Side
On page 3 of that thread is a link to the following article which has the following picture of the ASUS dock which apparently will sold at a $49.99 USD price point, and supposedly will be available on or after August 24th from ASUS...
Official Nexus 7 dock and accessories leaked

I wanted to share the FAVI mini Keyboard and Trackpad Remote. This is a great mini keyboard and trackpad all in one that uses a mini RF dongle that works not only with the Nexus 7 OTG but every other device I own (PC, Macbook, PS3, and Xbox 360). It is very well constructed and from amazon in the US it is only $25 for the black color (other colors more expensive)
Some of the features I like:
Keyboard and Trackpad in One
Rechargeable Battery through Mini USB Port (includes cable)
Laser Pointer (great for presentations and making CATS GO CRAZY... if only the nexus 7 had video out)
Wireless Dongle slides into the keyboard for easy storage when not connected
The keys can be backlit to be used in the dark
Trackpad built in scrolling and tap to click that works on Nexus 7
Formfactor is the size of a typical remote
I also have a video of it working on the Nexus 7 if you want to see it in action: http://youtu.be/vgyQpoxZhoE
The amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/FAVI-Entertainment-Wireless-Keyboard-TouchPad/dp/B003UE52ME/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1344530213&sr=8-1&keywords=favi+keyboard
There was a bluetooth version of this I had a few years ago, I really liked it and it wasn't very expensive
Link to BT version? I'd be sold on it if it was dongle free heheh

thanks for any input..
You should check out the wireless charging mod thread in the original Android development section, it's much cheaper and doesn't seem very difficult to do. Also from the reports you know it's safe if you do it correctly.

That actually isn't an option for me. On my original note the usb port started getting a little used and worn. So I'd rather not deal with plugs. You know those mac book mag chargers? I'd love to get one of those for phones. This is the closest were going to get Atm. I'd love to get a 2 amp charger for the note2 using induction. Hopefully the official kit will come out soon from Samsung.

According to the picture it connects to two metal contacts we don't have. So I don't think it will work.
If you have an international version, go right ahead and buy it.
I know it didn't say Note 2 in the title, but I figured that was just because the phone was so new. Works with my old Nexus, so it isn't a bad cable. Shame because this type of design is great for not having to carry hdmi cables and extra cords. Does anyone know why this would work with basically every android phone and even the original Note, but not ours?

EDIT: didn't know about the 5 pin vs. 11 pin thing..That sucks..I never miss stuff like this before ordering.

I think the new adapters HAVE to be 11 pin. Or for 5 pin adapters there needs to be an 5 to 11 pin in between adapter.
I have the latest version of this product which states it's compatible with gs3 gn2 but I'm not having any luck with it. It says "hdmi cable connected" but no output on my tv. I'm running stock tw rom

If thats not a 3.5mm Standard Jack, Iphone will never connect to any audio system or car stereo. bad decision for Apple

But on the specs of iPhone 5 it shows standard 3.5 mm jack, but which adapter should be used to use on note.
I phone 5 uses the same 3 pin connector on its 3.5mm jack, but it's not standard, they offset the pin connections differently.

I own three of these bad boys, its great they connect up to each other each with 3.5 out put and each has its own 3.5 in put so theoretically you could have an infinate chain of these. Each has its own battery. I have a wire connected to mine to extend the reach between the device and speakers

I have these too, great little speakers. They'll go nicely plugged into the official docking station when it's finally available in the UK.
X-minis are pretty damn impressive for the size of the things if you place them on a suitably resonant surface. I've got a Beacon Phoenix now though, mainly bought for the convenience of Bluetooth but that sounds even better for its size and doesn't have an irritatingly short cable
I got the slightly larger ones that do stereo:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PK1COG/ref=wms_ohs_product
50 bucks vs 2x20 for a pair of Mini II and a special mini stereo to pair of mini mono cable. I should point out that you can always get the stereo to pair of mono cable to expand that mini at any time. Also you can get the max ones for less than 50. Quick search for the type of stereo mono cable: http://www.amazon.com/STEREO-3-5mm-...&keywords=Cable+stereo+mini+to+dual+mini+-RCA

I love my X-minis , have the II, the Max II and the Kai (bluetooth).
They get used by everyone in the family and I'll often use them with my N7 for streaming radio (buddyjacked or chained) or watching a movie.
My thoughts here.
