Help: Boot Loop

Successfully unlock the bootloader on my W8 PC and tried to root the phone.
However, I get "waiting for device" after entering "fastboot flash boot Z_DooMLoRD_CF-Auto-Root-ported_FW-350.img" at command prompt.
Thinking that the bootloader unlock was unsuccessful, I repeated the process again and tried the fastboot command again......and it still had the "waiting for device " messsage
I disconnected the phone from the PC and powered on the phone and now its boot-looping.
Please help.....

looks like you do not flashed the kernel so it is not booting
PS: Did you have a blue light during flashing ?

Yes...There was blue light during flashing

Still unable to solve problem.
ave downloaded Flashtool and the stock fw but before I start, just wanna confirm if I am doing the right thing by using Flashtool

Me Too....I'm trying to wait until it's battery is gone, have you try this method??

did you two guys resolve this bootloop? and out of interest did you use the "fastboot.exe" from the android sdk or somewhere else?

Thx everyone!! i solve the boot loop!~
since i can enter fastboot mode through pressing volume up and connect to PC
so i try to flash the remaining stock kernel and work
problem solve!~

Am still stuck with bootloop
I can get into fastboot but cant flash the ftf as well.
I tried Flashtool (not the beta for Z) and also downloaded the French firmware and Z ftf.
But I cant the the green LED on my Z when connected to the PC (My Z had no LED lights)
However, when I launched Flashtool, it was able to detect my phone.
I proceeded to flash with ftf but it stayed "Flashing...." for a very long time.

I downloaded Fastboot from one of links provided in XDA

Sounds like your pc isn't recognising the phone in fastboot mode. Did you install the drivers?

Looks like the drivers is likely the problem. But what drivers are you refering to?
The drivers from Android SDK, The Flashtool/Fastoot drivers or the Z drivers?
I have installed tboth he drivers from Android SDK with Google USB Rev 7 and from Fastboot and Flashtool drivers from Flash.
PC just cant detect phone at all

What was the cause in the end?

HI had the same issue, bootloop, anoying
what you have to do is this: use fastboot and typ, fasboot flash boot boot kernel
the kernel i used was Romaur. press start. after that you will enter recovery in youre phone and go to sideload.
now in sideload, typ adb sideload Romaur kernel, or any i think, just tested Romaur. press enter and after you done, you are not having issues with bootloop anymoore

Are there maybe any ways I could control the phone using only my computer. Im stuck in what I believe to be a softbrick and I have tried every way I found online on youtube and xda and every thing else that I found on google and bing. I have spent 10 hours trying every method I could find and still nothing.

you have to flash a custom recovery (twrp/cwm) so you can be able to sideload a rom and install it.

Rename the attached recovery to recovery.img and place it in your adb folder then put your phone into fastboot mode and run this command
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Then use the all-in-one toolkit to sideload your Rom

I tried to flash the recovery and it didn't work it might have to do with the adb not being able to find my phone. Fastboot devices shows my phone but adb devices shows nothing and adb shell says device not found. Ive updated drivers and that doesn't work. mtp driver won't install correctly for what ever reason. That toolkit won't work everything on there does nothing except for the basic fastboot controls.

Adb will only see your phone when it's on and booted , fastboot sees your device when in bootloader/fastboot

Might be a daft question but are you sure you've placed the recovery in the right folder , you want it in the folder with adb.exe and fastboot.exe and rename it to recovery.img

Help with my (bricked?) M9, please?

I've got a T-Mobile M9 with a locked bootloader and no recovery. I am unable to boot into the system and thus can't enable USB debugging. I foolishly relocked it trying to flash an RUU and now it won't boot. I have tried re-unlocking it thru fastboot but the commands are not recognized.
Please help?!?

I would recommend downloading the RUU image, renaming it "0PJAIMG.zip" and then placing it in the root directory of a microsd card and putting that into your device. Then reboot into fastmode (download mode), holding vol-down immediately after powering on. It should hopefully detect the zip image and restore the phone to factory condition.
That's if fastboot is not working. Make sure your commands are correct too. I'm sure you're fully aware but doesn't hurt to double check.

Thanks so much, dude! My M9 is back up and running. Looked everywhere on the Internet and didn't see that method anywhere.

I was in the same predicament. Bricked mine trying to install a custom ROM. I get the following error:
Failed: -2, 22: fail to flash via download
Failed: -2, 22: fail to flash via download

Yeah it's actually the most common way of flashing a RUU and it's posted all over. Even a giant thread on it in the international forum. I don't think you looked very hard through "the history of the Internet."

i cant enable OEM option

im trying to enable OEM option in my huawei 5c but i cant enable it. It stopped working when i updated my phone to android 7.0 and emui 5.0 so what can i do? im trying to enable bootloader but i cant do it. I tried to flash twrp but i cant flash it and i tried command fastboot oem unlock (and my code) it didnt work. anyone know how to fix this?

Hello, hey man, yo have to fastboot oem relock 1234567890(your code), to relock your bootloader, after relock, you will be able to turn on OEM Unlock, then you can fastboot oem unlock 1234567890(your code), and, flash twrp either.

Hummm, i never met this before... maybe the HONOR-MultiTool could help you, you have to open MultiTool(first of all, download it) and press Extras, then Bootloaderz then relock my bootloader(make sure your phone is ON, connected with HiSuite and USB Debugging), then choose "i have a code", and finally you have to type your code(ONLY CODE!!) then enter, and make sure your phone reboots into fastboot and asking you to "lock bootloader?" choose yes. If anything goes wrong, let me know, i will answer ASAP.

finally yes i tried to factory reset and then i relocked bootloader and now its working fine

Hey, no problem dude, now you have to find SuperSU for EMUI 5.0 2.79 SR3 ZIP file, do not try any others, i promise you can break your sounds, if you flash the .zip .

It didn't changed, just power off your phone, then hold the recovery mode buttons until you see "your device is booting now"...

my sounds are working normally and now im testing root with root checker. ok i tested and i have rooted success thank you so much you saved my phone thx

i used SRK TOOL
I open bootloader and install TWRP
But it doesnt work and also I cant rooting
I solve 1 day cause It doesnt boot with

So I gived up and relock the bootloader
Actually, it takes bootloop also cant use fastboot
It doest work anything

really really interesting, I can boot phone when discharge all battery and charge seconds
but it doesnt work to fastbootmode to use SRK tool
It have bootloop when rebooting
Is it soft brick?

I can boot it normally but not fastboot
I think it need to install stock firmware
there maybe delete fastboot and recoverymod
I studying about unbrand but Im not sure

I cant go to Bootloader even I do everything
and I was failed to intall TWRP first, so I brick my phone
I did many phone's customize with Galaxy or LG phone but I cant understant reason with P9...

First turn of your phone than HOlD Volume Down button & connect usb to your pc than your automatically go to fastboot

First install twrp

1. Extra rom then copy to Dload folder in SDcard
2. Hold Up + Down volume button + Power button
3. Wait for minutes
