Cool Wallpapers (Me messing around in Photoshop)

Hello fellow XDA'ers, I have started to play around with Photoshop and basically decided to create some simple yet beautiful wallpapers that will go great for any Android Device. I will try my best to have a 480 by 800 Resolution and if ever the images are bigger, you can simply crop them and personalize the style.
I posted my first Wallpaper on the Simple XDA Wallpapers thread and a few people took a liking to it, so I thought why not create my own thread where I can post some new wallpapers that I make as a hobby. So without further a due, we begin!
P.S. Hope you like them. I'll try to post a new one everyday
BTW, anyone is free to post their own Wallpapers

Quick Note:
I do not make wallpapers from scratch! I use free wallpapers from the web, and use Photoshop tools to edit them into what I would like it to look like, so a lot of credit goes to the actual creators, All Right Reserved!
Number One:
I used the Galaxy Nexus' Phase Beam live wallpaper screenshot and an abstract picture of boxes. Tweaked a little bit here and there, added the caption using the Droid Font and voila!

Number Two:
Spent some more time on this one since I had to do a bit more of cropping, some blurring, looking for the Roboto font, overlaying couple of stuff and adding a couple of effects. Anyway, hope you like it

Number Three:
This one contains some WoW love! Basically took the For The Horde emblem and placed Andy in the center. Applied a couple of effects here and there. Enjoy!

Number Four:
This wallpaper was made using a customized Andy from Androidstickers.com. After that I looked for a Metallic textured background, duplicated it to fill the whole 480x800, then applied some sharpening and other goodies. Enjoy!

Dark XDA

Number Five:
I really enjoyed doing this one and up to date it is the most "complicated" as it involved quite a lot of tools. Firstly, I got hold of some HD Galaxy Nexus Wallpapers, then created a new GN Wallpaper. From there I, applied some Abstract Art and layered the colors on top. After that, I applied a couple of effects, put many Bots and done! I have created the Android Army @ XDA Developers

My First Theme for 2013.
Its Named: Red Magic 2013.
Credits:
Iconsfaffinator.(My Dear Friend. I have used your icon base to make this new Icon set).
Lockscreen: Ivan. (My friend, I have modded the XIRO lockscreen to get this effect).
This has a New Photo Widget 4*4
This has a New Jelly Bean Clock from a Chinese Site, which was modded to this theme.
A New Dock for the MIUI by me.
A new clock widget 4*2 by me.
A new Preview screen.

This theme is been updated with all New Icons and is fully HD Version.. Download and feel every bit of it..
And this theme would contain as much as possible icons in the same way as packed.
No changes would be made in any form from the release.

I understand though. This theme looks amazing. If you made a version specifically for HD resolutions, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

This is a Full HD version and its free. So download this and feel the catch.

unless your link gives a different download then no, im not day dreaming. Sure a theme is applied...lockscreen looks much different than your screenshot, the statusbar is much different than yours...i can see no "new" animations
post a video of the theme on your phone, or at least screenshots from your actual phone

I have same problem, something seems fishy. The theme title was something like "iphonev5" so I deleted it. The icons matched but the lockscreen looks nothing alike. Here are screens:

Thanks a lot for your huge work. I think, its the most accurate and bugless theme I've ever used. I've found some small "bugs" and if you have time, please try to fix them.
1. Standart "Search" widget is stretched
2. In some places I've found letterings on buttons in grey instead of white. It looks unreadable.
3. Quick Pic App background is very acid)))
4. Can you make more icons for apps?

All the bugs have been fixed and will be posted in a day or two.

Fantastic work mate, easily one of the best themes I've seen for MIUI v4 I'm glad to see you've not just gone for the "Gingerbread Green" too, it really does look excellent!

like someone suggested, try different color themes. you'd be surprised of the weird colors people like. besides loyal miui fans as myself, others are all about the whole jellybean hype and the next best thing out there. its just a phase but dont give up on the ones that do use miui roms. This place has changed alot since the t-mobile G1 days. people arent so appreciative of free hard work anymore, selfish pricks =__= keep up the hard work anyway

[REQ] REDESIGN PROJECT - list of apps that aren't 1080p-ready

Hi, I wanted to request a list of your favourite apps that aren't 1080p-ready because I decided that I want to make redesigns of those apps
You can write names of apps more than one time so it will be easy for me to see which app-redesigns are more (or less) desirable.

Fancy widgets

the problem is that those are sense 3 (or 3.5) images and there are lots of them. I wanted to start with something easy as I'm not that advanced and those are rather complex images rather than icons.
Probably the second app-redesign will go to uTorrent. Anybody using it ?

iTag has generally holo ui. The only thing that isn't holo ui-like in this app is background (entire black - holo ui has a background gradient) and buttons (also black and not gray).
And the icon is ugly. I'll contact the creator of iTag today and we'll see what we can achieve
UPDATE:
In playstore buttons are gray, so i think the UI of iTag is phone's UI dependant...On htc one buttons are black and highlights are light blue - as they should be for holo ui.

Love the app as you can get some really funky pics with it. But the icons are all bunched up together and nearly un usable.
Love to see this fixed for our device

I managed to open cartoon camera apk file in eclipse sdk but I don't know where is the file that contains button layout.
Can anyone help?

Yeah the problem is that ING is rather a big company and they have bunch of similar apps. So I suggest that you just should send them a message that this app looks ugly and there is no support for xxhdpi phones.

Nice start for Ideas. Think we need to focus on making it usable before ascetics

Noticed a glitch on FlatLoader slider, there's black line on it.
No idea where it's coming from. I've tried to mess with it, with no luck
Screen is 720p if it matters.
Oh and your slider isn't even near to pixel perfect, which is downside for me.
Is it possible to make it match the screen resolution, so it won't get resized ?

This happens sometimes when you'r stretching the slider to size not intended to it... Try if you center the slider and resize it so there is a 1x1 grid space on the bouth sides of the slider...
And yes.. my sliders are pixel perfect, the thing is WidgetLocker cant tell the right size they are intended to use since they are based on plane PNG.s and not vectors...
