Useless. Some guy stating his opinions in front of a powerpoint with photos of a nexus and an ipad. I'm guessing he doesn't even have either tablet.

Based on that logic, every review of any product ever made would be useless...

I love how scoring is done by the number of bullet points they can think of for each device. Cnet does the same thing with their prize fight videos. These types of videos are so painful to watch.

Okay, so I have an iPad 2 and the Nexus 7. I make a video comparing them as business tablets and in my review I show reasons why the N7 (or really any Android tab) crushes the iPad for business use. Does that make it somehow better than this person's review? What about the person who has both tabs and makes a review showing why they think the iPad is a better business tablet. What happens then? Both meet your criteria of owning the devices in question. They contradict each other. So what do you do? Just arbitrarily pick one as "useless" and one as "dead on accurate?"
I'm not trying to pick on you Baron, but reviews are simply opinion. Also, how do you know this guy doesn't own both products?

You're missing the point. The reviewers gives his/her opinion, doesn't mean yours will be the same as theirs. You can choose for.yourself. however I prefer watching a review from someone who has both devices and see those devices perform. Usually that's what people are looking. For since they don't have those devices. They wanna see how they compare. It's better than someone telling you what they like on the nexus or the iPad, that person could be biased and they word isn't enough. Long story short, people wanna see not hear. But I guess that's not logic.

I don't know if he does or does not own both products. But if he does, why not show us why he prefers one over the other? Or why not just show us how they perform? Don't you think it makes more sense?

Perhaps, but I get the impression he was trying to do something different than all the rest and was adding humor to it as well. Yet, even though his scoring is...well...questionable, several of his points are valid (in my opinion). Which is, after all, what we usually look for in reviews...points or opinions that resonate with us or make sense to us based on our own wants and needs.

iOS 6

I, personally, was disappointed by Apple's iOS 6 release. I felt the os needed an entire revamp. From what I know about android everything apple did could have been done with app downloads. To me that should have been more of an incremental update rather than a whole new OS version. Do you all agree or disagree. Please let me know your thoughts.
IB4 another lock!
Nope
Before lock, where is the iOS 6 changelog?

I didn't watch any livestream but from all the Twitter feeds, it wasn't promising much. Maps is probably the only thing that is good, but it's stupid iPad 3 getting Siri but not the other updated devices..

Ugh your right
Oh well i am staying on my jailbroken 5.0 ipod touch and using android.
Androids updates are nice cause they add a lot of new features where as apple mainly fixes old crap.
Android FTW obviously
- Maps w/ Flyover = Looks great
- Turn-By-Turn = At last?
- Updated Siri = Don't care, but i guess it's fun for the kids
- FB and Twitter integration = Don't care
- Passbook = Guess it's usefull for people in the US
Overall a couple of nice tweaks but nothing major. Apart from the FB/Twitter integration and other system tweaks, they could easily pushed this OTA.

Also, it's built like a tank compared to our N7's.

Everything except adding a sd card slot would have cost a little more. A card slot would have cost next to nothing to add. I always thought they left it out to push their cloud service.

I agree. I don't think it was left out for cost reasons. After all, the Galaxy Nexus doesn't have a MicroSD slot either...yet there is a little plastic knockout plate that looks like that is where it would go if it did have one.

It's like phone, people who don't want customize interface and want friendly os buy ipad, and people who want to do everything possible with a tablet buy android one.
I've got an iPhone and now a nexus 7 and i didn't regret and go back. Apple it's over now
Was that a statement or a question? If it was a question then simply no, unless Apple do something about the price most people will compare the price of that with the price of other tablets in the same area, even then most people take into account screen size, storage size and price only for tablets, if you take screen size out of the equation then unless they lower the price people will generally decide to go with the cheaper product.
Also the Microsoft surface is out soon, yes it's 10" but it will surely steal audience away from the iPad mini if it's actually confirmed.
</rant>
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
No the Mini will not defeat the N7, there a totally different ball game.
As said before the iPad mini will be for those who don't really get what there doing, the N7 is for the enthusiasts who want control over their device.
If the ipad mini ends up being the size that everyone is speculating, it won't(to me) have the portability that the Nexus 7 sports.

Of course it will. They are late for the 7" party, but it will be a great success.
But why should that matter? Competition is good. 7" size is perfect for a tablet, 10" is way too clumsy. In a few years time I'm pretty sure that 7" tablets will make up for majority of the sales.
this might be better option for most people

Who cares? How about we stop being so damn entrenched in our OS? Does it really matter to you if it succeeds or fails? Will your life change in any significant way?
What most interests me is another quality tablet in a crowded space. That should, in theory, force a price war and a spec war. Both benefit consumers.
Why so many Apple comments in the nexus 7 section. I don't want to read about apple everytime I am trying to read about nexus 7

No offence guys, but I see the ipad mini being a massive hit, in the Australian market especially.
Because of its simple interface and ipad name. And how it syncs with itunes and iphones. That's what apple users want, they don't want customisation, individuality and tweaks like we do.
Although we android users are different to most of the community, some of don't understand how the normal person operates. They don't think to change the look, colours or performance, or to install a whole new interface. All they want is smoothness and usablity. And that is the ipad/iphone, my friends.
My 2 cents, Markj out

TechnoBuffalo reads it as KRS368 on the Nexus 7 and KRS365 on the N4, but I see it as KRS36B, which makes more sense since recent builds of Jelly Bean have a letter at the end of the build number.

I think they knew I was a bit of an Android nut. No laptop for 5 days though. Brand new screen though
Sent from the iron man themed phone. (thanks XDA Premium)
i think the representatives didn't wanted to take a pic with you and the xda mark , cuz they knew that almost all xda devs are working on android and not ios and they are a little jealous
if i was you , i would wear a t-shirt saying "android user/lover" or something like that and asking an apple guy around to take a shot with me , i would pay to see his reaction
anyway all my respects for you doing your action showing the love we all share for xda
p.s : you were a little shy with that phone showing xda mark
I was a little shy, yes. Haha. Felt strange

No but I messed around with there new £1000 chrome book. It's just a Google store inside a massive PC world store here. Lovely laptop but no way worth £1000 for the touch screen laptop. Also it's the highest resolution laptop screen on the market.

Hope that their chromebook or whatever they call those laptops to be cheap in price
Cuz if it will cost 800 bucks then I won't even look at the product
