Lockscreen with pattern - LG Optimus Black

I noticed all custom roms have cut the pattern lock feature while its needed thing seeing security.
Any 1 there has any flashable/installable pattern or password lockscreen for custom roms?

Did you search into Google Play?

AFAIK, all custom rom based on stok rom that I had tried has pattern lock. I'm on zeus now, and it has pattern lock

Google play has alot of crap ware which sucks memory. I just like the built in security standard. Anyway to enable it in disbaled ROMs?

Long-press back key to force quit

Hey guys!
I recently began to use Roms which is based on stock again, and one of the feautures i miss the most from cm7/miui is the ability to force-close an app with a long press on the back key.
Does anyone know of a MOD or something that can enable this feature on stock roms?
Or can point me in the right direction or something?
Would be awesome to have it on stock roms!!

FC appears when an app is stucked, at least this is happening to me. If I keep pressed back button, it will display a dialog.

Yes, but this isn't the same, nor as easy.
I'd hope for this feature too, as I'm about to go from a Droid 2 with CM7 to a Droid 4 ... root will give me most of the things I want, except this.
In galaxy s2 you can use jk deluxe settings (search it) to use this function on stock (need root) rom
Settings>Developer options
First activate them at the top, then head to the bottom of the list, the entry furthest down is the one you want.
This should work for any ROM with dev options available, which frankly I think is everyone...

Its a ROM specific function and as far as I know there is not any mods available sadly

So I have to use that. That's all I wanted to know, just thought it would be more efficient to use the one that was already there if possible.
Whats the big deal with the pie control? Its almost useless , you can use your button to navigate, sliding on the edge of the screen and using it almost same with the existing physical button is making your life too complicated

What about phones which do not have physical buttons?

[Q] Is there a mod that allows delayed screen lock after it shuts off? Like Samsung?

I don't know the best way to word this, but on like the S3, S4, if the screen times out and shuts off, you have a few seconds to turn wake it up again WITHOUT having to swipe/drag anything...
Does that make sense? ha...
I want that...
That makes sense. It's built in the MIUI ROM on my Xperia S at least, would be interesting to see if there is an app for it.

What you're referring to is actually under display settings, but regardless that isn't what I mean. I want it to automatically lock, but on the occasion that I'm not ready for it to happen, I want to wake within a few seconds without a drag. Like the galaxy phones.

To be quite honest, the "lock after" option under Security does exactly what you're requesting (unless I'm misreading your post, which I doubt). However, that option only appears if you have some kind of security lock enabled, as opposed to just one of HTC's lockscreens from the Personalize menu.

Regardless, I still have to 'pull up to unlock' which is what I don't want to have to do if the screen JUST shut off.
I can put a vid of what samsung does I guess, since its tough to explain..
However I do appreciate the help attempts!

Must just be the ROM I'm using then. If have no lock screen, I don't get any options for security lock. Also there is never anything in personalize.
I can disable the lock screen yes, but I don't want a security lock..
No security lock. Are you sure you know what I mean? No offense meant, but so far nothing has been relevant for what I actually want.

[Q] Go back to ICS?

I have installed CM 1.2 and I hate it. The wifi is worse, all of the popular apps (Instagram, Facebook, Whatsapp, etc.) are not available trough Google Play, the battery drains about 5% per hour in idle, it's buggy because it won't lock when I press the power button.
I can't find any differece between CM and JB except that CM has a bit different settings and more bugs.
How do I go back to ICS? JB sucks on P880 because the phone will get laggy due to low RAM.
If I go back to ICS, can I use my warranty for the phone or is it screwed because I have unlocked the bootloader? Is there no way to lock it again?

I did not say that CM is laggy. I tend to never get spelling errors on the CM keyboard, but on the JB stock keyboard I do a lot of spelling errors...
Anyway I hate CM because:
- Sometimes I can not lock the phone by pressing the power button.
- When the phone is locked the display will be black for 2-3 seconds when I press the power button
- My WiFi connection is weaker
Yeah, it pretty much just feels like JB but more buggy...

If your ROM is so good coded, why can you not make a guide that is easy to follow? There are so many ****ty steps and tons of different threads made by kids that you have to go through in order to install CM.
Also the battery icon is disproportionately thin. It's so ugly and looks so unaligned that I want to cry every time I see it.

My first impression when trying to install CM on a smartphone is "this is messy and the documentation is bad", which doesn't increase my hope for the ROM at all... If the developers can't make it easy to install, then how good is the actual code?

to me it looks like that!
- if u cant lock the phone properly then maybe something is wrong with your gapps u used.
- if u have big latency to unlock maybe: either u run on low cpu values/ powersave or conserve governor/ homescreen is with some live wallpaper connecting to the internet to send ads and a theme thats overweight.
- wifi definately isnt weaker. maybe it sometimes shows wrong signal bars on statusbar ( for example im above my router and sometimes i see 3 bars out of 4, but checking the signal further i see that its at his maximum power ).
About cm ? yea first impression is always the tough one. even when we saw boobs for the first time when we were kids, we thought OMG those are nice. it cant everything be so easy, click here and everything is done...

However, I have assigned the Screen Off app to Swipe Down gesture of the Nova launcher.
Yes, its sad that we have no way to Switch On with any gesture as it needs hardware interaction. But, still, I have tried some solutions, which included Proximity Sensor of the Phone, and they were just amazing
