O2 XDA IIi, no signal after sim unlock, Please Help!

Hi I have a O2 XDA IIi and I upgraded the rom to
ROM: 1.11.00 WWE
Radio: 1.00.00
Ext ROM: 1.11.169
The thing is i have done the upgrade without CID unlocking the phone but used the all unlocking software ver.1.5 to unlock!Everything went ok but the only problem is that now the phone in the signal bar has an exclamation mark and says no service!
I have tried to flash the phone with sever other rom, but its the same,still no signal.
I am not able to use the ph any more, please help!

Hi David the problem continues. I did use the tool.

You will need to register to downlaod but you should find one that works...

I have similar issue when unlocking my Diamond with Olipro tool. So what was essentially the problem here??? Was it a bad radio rom that causes the exclamation mark, or bad CID unlock before the SIM unlock radio gets loaded.

G4 Wizard 8125 ROM help please

Ill start by saying I have trolled throgh the forums and the wiki and have not found what I'm looking for. So go ahead and flame me if you like but I am resulting to asking for help.
I have a HTC wizard (cingular 8125) that I want to flash with a Tmobile rom. Dont really care if its WM5 or 6. I have CID and SIM unlocked the phone via the wizard wiki. I loaded the love rom as well. Problem is, all of the links for any US or english Tmobile roms in the WIKI are dead. I DL'd MDA_software_update_226102_22610105_022511.exe from Tmobiles site but it wont update. Says something about cannot update to this version. Sorry to be a pain but if someone could point me to a Tmobile rom (official or not) that I can flash that would be great. Is there a 3rd party ROM update utility I need to do this? In here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=310831 it stops at "G4.7 You're reade to flash the AKU2, AKU3, WM6 rom of you're choise IF the rom DOESN'T contain IPL/SPL." but I cant seem to figure out where to go from there to flash the rom, or where to find one.

With HardSPL don't even think to flash an official rom,as it contains official IPL/SPL in it and your phone is flashed to patched IPL/SPL,if you flash the official Bootloaders,it'll Brick the phone,so totally avoid it,but if you want to revert back to any official stock rom,first remove HardSPL and then only flash an official rom.

Thanks, that is where I started originally. Was with a factory 8125 Cingular Wizard. I downloaded the .exe from Tmobiles website for the MDA and tried the update. It barked at me and said I could not update to that version (or something like that). Thats when I started down the CID unlock trail to try and figure out how to get the tmobile ROM loaded onto the wizard. So I should remove the hardspl, then try the update? Or do I need to go to softspl first before trying to update. I question how well the tmobile .exe will work. Is there something they code that looks at some version and keeps you from updateing it? sorry to be a pest but I am at a loss. I did this a while ago in reverse to a tmobile MDA. I CID unlocked it and loaded a cingular rom. That all went so smooth, so I am not understanding why I am having so many troubles doing it this way.

Any help? It seems like the phone is back to CID locked but I re ran lokiwiz and it errors out. Maybe this has to do with the love rom? Do I need to flash back to a cinular rom first, then do a softspl then load a tmobile rom?
In short, can anyone guide me to getting this wizard flashed with a tmobile rom in its current state?

ok,perhaps you are not fully understanding the procedure explained in this guide you are following,this guide and steps are meant,if you want to flash and upgrade to any latest wm6 custom build rom,as no wm6 upgrade is officially being offered by any vendor,so the only way to upgrade is to flash a custom build wm6 non official roms present here and cooked by XDA cooks.As G4 cannot be CID unlocked so either SoftSPL or HardSPL is used to upgrade a G4 device.You can only flash a rom with SoftSPL or HardSPL which doesn't have IPL/SPL included in it,but all the official roms regardless of being cingular or t-mobile have IPL/SPL in them,so you don't have to flash them through SoftSPL.Simply,hook up the phone with pc and run the RUU in the rom,it'll start to flash.Don't use SoftSPL to flash T-mobile official rom.

Thanks Zab, originally the first thing I tried was flashing the 8125 as it was from cingular (no spl or any other cid/sim unlocking attempted) with an official Tmobile rom I DL'd from their site for the MDA. I dont care to put this phone on WM6, I just want to get flashed with an official tmobile MDA ROM. When I originally tried the flash, I received the same error as posted above by the RUU. Thats what prompted me to go down the road of unlocking the phone, thinking it would allow me to flash the tmobile rom. In theory since a g4 cannot be CID unlocked and you have to use hard or soft spl, shouldn't I just need to reboot the device in it's current state (above) to release the softspl, and then launch the tmobile official .exe? If that is the proper procedure I tried, but no dice. I am, admittedly a noob at this, but have not had any problems flashing my 8525 or previously my MDA. Please, does what I am asking make sense? If I can understand, then I should be able to accomplish this.

ok,if your phone is having official Bootloaders,IPL/SPL 2.26.0001,there shudn't be any problem flashing the official T-mobile rom,but if you still get error,then download the attached RUU and replace it with RUU in the Rom and run this RUU,hope it'll work.
But,if it with patched IPL 2.21.0001/SPL 2.21 olip (HardSPL),then first remove HardSPL,reflash back the original official Bootloaders (IPL/SPL) and then flash the official rom.
Or ,if you want to flash through SoftSPL,then first strip the official T-Mobile rom,extract the IPL/SPL out of it,repack the rom (OS only) and then flash it through SoftSPL.

Well,it depends on the DOC Chip version of the phone ?
If its a G4 version use the 'Lokiwiz02b' tool or the WST_4.2.2 tool to SIM_Unlock the phone,but if its a G4,then use 'Lokiwiz03a' tool to generate an unlocking code.
You can read and method about both of them in the 'Wizard Upgrading' forum posted as Stickies.

Ok, I have DL'd the RUU attached. Thanks. My question at this point, is how do I take the .exe I DL'd from tmoble and replace the RUU? Is there an extraction utility to unpack the ROM and repack it?

Extract the Tmobile rom with WinRAR,right click and select 'Extract Files',it'll extract the rom in a folder,open that folder and replace the downloaded RUU with the RUU in the extracted folder,after that run the replaced RUU.

No,you don't have to repack it,just run the RUU from the Rom.

I used winrar to extract the contents of the exe from tmobile. Now I see the .nbf file. If I copy the nbf to the ruu folder i DL'd from you and run the ruu, it error's out saying EROR [238] : FILE READ. Do I need to repack back to an exe or should I just be able to run the romupdateutility.exe from the unpacked folder?

ok,try this time by replacing the RUU in the rom with the downloaded RUU,hope it works,otherwise,it may be that the downloaded Tmobile rom is a corrupt file,download it again or from some other site.

2 days ago, i tried my hd7 to update official Mango (posted from football) from NoDo. But update is not complated and my phone is still stay in Bootloader Screen. Everythings looking fine in Bootloader screen :

But, when I try flash a ROM, Update Utility saying : Error 264: Invalid Vendor ID and my phone is going back to Bootloader Screen.

My device is not haved RSPL/HSPL.

Not installed Chevron Unlock

My phone is stiil wait in boot screen. Not openning OSX.

I hope for you that asian roms will work.
The only solution I which can work if other original roms also fail is to get the eqipment to flash via gold card methode.

So lets say you really have an european HD7
When you flash an old rom (Standard or NoDo) did the flashing tool try to flash or does it fail imidietly?
If you flash old rom's the phone is rebooting after flashing spl & than continues flashing the rest.
maybe by trying older roms, spl is flashed but the os fails like the Mango spl which you mentioned in the first post.
If the bootloader doesn't show the spl version 4.xx you have the chance to try RSPL/HSPL and flash a good/old rom

as redzippo said, (s)he has a half-bricked device.
in which case, flashing a Shipped ROM will not solve this issue.

hell i have the same problem! anyone have the solution??i tried like 10 different roms and none worked...if i try to flash with RUU wrapper in one case i get to 1% flash,and in other 3% flash and then the error invalid vender id...

HTC HD7 flashing Questions

Hello XDA,
I honestly know nothing about Windows Phone and flashing, however here is my problem. HD7 died, so I got it repaired by getting a new SD card installed, however it now longer works, and get stucks at the HTC boot screen. I know of bootmode, but that is about it, it was up to date with the latest version of Windows Phone if that matters.
Basically what I am wondering is how do I fix my phone, do I need to flash it or something? Zune doesn't recognize it when its connected, and my carrier is Bell Canada

What happen that made it quit working after you had it fixed?

The attachment view of your bootloader says you have spl 4.xxx, so you can try and downgrade your spl to 3.xxx or below with shadows tutorial here

Follow the rest of his tutorial and install rspl or hspl by DFT then flash the custom rom of your choice.

226 Flash Write Error

Just say, that in such a case a beginner ...

When you try to roll back the phone to an earlier version by version Official firmware, progress bar at zero, an error pops up 226 Flash Write Error. Downloaded again and again, with different sources firmware, all the same. ROM does not want to flash, ask for help in solving the problem ... Thank you.

Be careful with just trying to flash rom versions, you can damage the bootloader and brick you device.
What is it that you are trying to do exactly?
Are you wanting to install a custom rom?
What method are you trying to use?
With a 5.xxx bootloader you can only use the goldcard/ Y cable method to flash your device and downgrade your SPL, unless you have a pre-mango Zune backup/restore point on your computer, then you can use that also to downgrade you SPL.
Let me know what your trying to accomplish and I'll try and help you!

In my planes firstly roll back to earlier versions (because HSPL installer says that required version firmware is not higher 1,6.....), then install HSPL & finish by installing Nextgen 3.4.
Can you help me step by step what I need to do?

You have to lower/downgrade your SPL to at or under 3.xxx to install RSPL/HSPL then flash Nextgen.
With 5.xxx SPL you can only downgrade your SPL in two ways.
1. Goldcard/ Y cable method, requires you to make a "Y" cable made out of 2male and 1 female USB cables and you need a SD card reader/flash drive.
2. Pre-Mango restore point, (Zubair's method, in Shadows tutorial) meaning you upgraded your device from a pre-Mango version to Mango and to you have the computer that you did it on.
Follow Shawods tutorial here, it explains all the above, How to downgrade SPL, flash XSPL and install a custom rom.
