Since 2 days, my touchscreen does not respond. It happened while I was typing a message, my touches began to bug then it stopped working...
I tried reflashing Zeus, flashing CM7, reflashing stock via SmartFlash but it does not help
Anyone could help ?

Yeah I know but I wanted to know if there was any way to fix it without replacement as I don't know if it's really the digitizer which is dead :/

If flashing a few roms didn't help i don't think it's a software issue, try smartflash stock and take it to lg for warranty

Warranty is for only 1 year right ?

Seems that for 3 contracts, the warranty is extended to 24 months but I don't have any of these contracts...
And LG France says P970 has 1yr warranty...

Hi guys, i have some questions and hope you could help me.
I bought a galaxy mini a while ago, and of course i was wondering if i could change the rom.Mine is in the picture , hope it helps. It updated a few days ago with samsung keys to 2.3.4. The problem is that it's locked in orange. It has a lot of crap that i dont want or use. The thing is, can i flash it if it's locked?And can you give me a few pointers on how to do that?

You can sim unlock your device and then flash the rom --You can pay few buck and get it unlocked online or maybe there are some around your locality--... This way the rom will surely work...
Note: I haven't trying doing either and what you do is at your own risk!!
So this wont work until i sim-unlock it?

I just checked p970 firmwares and i saw this :

It seems to be a new version of GB, but maybe the battery drain from v20Q is corrected...

But what i've not seen is that this firmware is made for KTF, so i doubt it is open for other SIM cards...

I don't think it would brick your phone as I'm currently using a KU5900, and flashed p970's v20o. just don't flash the radios..

Suppose i want to flash a stock rom to send my mini for repairs. But i don't have the baseband which was originally for my phone. Will technicians refuse to repair the device? I think the answer is yes but i would like to hear your opinions. Thank you =)

tell them that u have updated your phone
if they have knowledge about all this then yes they will refuse if they don't know anything they will do it for you for free
No, if u've flashed ur country's baseband (stock rom) it's fine.
Even if that is not the case my money is on them accepting it.

As the title says, i have a problem when trying to use GPS. First time i tried to use it on a gb rom and it didn't lock to any sattelites.
I tried modifying gps.conf, both on ics and gb, with no luck. And i don't want to open up my phone since i don't want to lose my warranty.
What i wanted to know, is there any way i could try to solve this, assuming it's not hardware related?
I'm now using the arco CM9 beta build 2 with castagnaIT v6.7 kernel.

I've tried 2 versions of that, didn't help. Is there a way i can reset it via codes? I've seen something like this in a topic but when i entered that code nothing happened.

I personally think it is hardware related. If you flash an other rom and the problem is still there, than at least it isn't a software problem.
I suggest that you flash the stock firmware and see if the problem os still there. If that is the case, contact samsung or your service provider
*note that you wont get warranty with cyanogenmod installed on your phone.

Yeah, I'm gonna try that sometime. And I don't really need gps, so i don't know if i'm gonna take it to warranty, because they're gonna hold it for like 2 weeks. But thanks!
Try the app Gps status & Toolbox. Reset gps & download a-gps. Maybe it'll work for you like it did for me. Let us know.

Hi, I have an lg g2 for verizon with a dead spot on the screen and phantom touches. I made a warranty claim with lg and they said I can send it in. I know this is a known problem with this phone so my question is, will they replace/repair for free? I am also rooted running paranoid android with twrp 2.8.0.1 installed. Is it neccisary to revert to stock? How can I do that? Also if anyone has had any experience with this please let me know how it goes. Thank you!

I followed that guide last night and shipped it out to LG this morning. Did you send it in for warranty? And did they fix it for free?

I sent it to Verizon, not LG.
They sent me a refurbished and I sent mine back.
Verizon warranty since I upgrade to G2 couple of months ago.
