Love to use your tablet naked, but wish it can stand during movies and tilt when you want to type?
i thought of this simple method and would like to share it with you guys
the idea is simple, use a hard cover surface, (cardboard, a book's hard cover, or anything rigid but bendable)
bend it 3 times so it can fold into a triangle for it to stand.
how to attach the tablet to this case? use velcros.
Velcros are amazing, its very secure when its connected, yet it's detachable too.
final product
able to stand 80degrees for watching movies,
and tilt 45 degrees for typing

its a diary book cover.
the pages inside can be slid out easily.
so i remove the pages and use the cover.
Velcro is great and stronger than one might think, I just started using some on my laptop/tilting stand so I can tilt it a lot further without it sliding over the stop. But, I haven't needed to remove any of the stuff, do they make some that is made easy-off? What I have is most definitely not easy, I would hate to damage the wonderful backing on the N7. Great ideas on the stand, thanks.

Only good thing about starbucks..
It's something one would normally throw away but you can reuse it on another cup of coffee or as a kickstand (or docking station). Recycle, you know? Peace.
Nice Idea.
Attached mine, made from a round shaped ipad skin container received when i purchased skin for my ipad from skinit.com
Thanks for the idea bro. u saved my Dollars

Recycling to the full, a paper cup makes a decent passive loudspeaker. Of course the Note will need a large cup!
That's awesome. Yours is more sturdy than the Starbucks sleeve. I made another one for my office using a sleeve from the deli at my office building. Their sleeves are sturdier than Starbucks'.

Ok my new OtterBox Dock
I thought that I would share this discovery! Like many of you that previously purchased a slim case for your Transformer Prime/Infinity tablet and now finding yourself with a totally different tablet (Nexus 10). The case you bought is now incompatible. What are you to do? Cough up more cash for a new case to fit your N10? Sure but you don't have to. Here is what you can do with no tools other then your own hands to make your incompatible Poetic slim case or something similar to fit your new N10!
* I discovered that the the four corners that hold the tablet in place and the two inner place holders are actually bendable! You can force these holders to bend and flex to fit your N10 snuggly. That's it! Saved you the need to buy another case
(Don't be afraid to force it when your bending it to shape. It will take some pressure.)
See photos below...
(These photos were after bending them all to shape. Sorry didn't think to shoot the before pictures:/)

*If you want to install a sleep/ wake feature for when you close the lid. All you need is a magnet like the ones on your refrigerator, like I did with mine and just cut it to fit the magnet snug like what I did below. The magnet I used had a soft foamy material that worked out nicely.
I no longer need to buy a case now that the one I had for the Infinity fits just fine for my new N10! Hopefully this helps you!

Thanks. Yeah just a little adjustment here and there Normally the case would be too big but since I was able to bend it, it all worked out.

It's a small magnet which I have found so far after 2 weeks of use it doesn't interfere with spen functions, perhaps I don't spen enough but 4.5/5 from 70 reviews can't go wrong for the price. If you feel iffy on the magnet you can go into those Amazon reviews then keyword search box just for this product reviews: magnet
:good:
Hi I am looking at getting a tripod holder for my phone to take pictures has anyone tried or has one of these. I have looked on amazon but none of the generic ones state that they would fit the note two.

I got this when I got my monopod; very useful when going to muesums and so forth where tripods are not allowed. It will hold the GN2.
Otherwise, I would just get some kind of car dock you like, and just add the screw bracket; superglue can do wonders.
This product looks really good for our Note 2!

I have this. Don't get it. It fits, but it is such a tight fit that it is unpleasant to use. You have to either not use a case, or scrape out the rubber pads.

I just ordered one. I'll report back here once it comes in.
Combining with a Gorillapod for double duty as carmount and camera tripod.
The iStabilizer is fantastic.
Plenty of room for a larger phone when you pull it open, but it still grips the Note II firmly with soft rubber pads. I am not an expert, but it feels very well constructed.
In conjunction with my Gorillapod, it makes a perfect mobile car mount gripping the PT Cruiser's oh **** bar on the passenger dash.
Served up by the TMo Note 2
I could NOT find a case that I liked. I tried the official, but wasn't fond of its inability to stand up on its own, nor its inability to keep the front flap closed. I know I wanted smart cover functionality, but they all seemed more bulky than I wanted. I didn't even necessarily want a CASE, just a cover/stand like the iPad smart cover.
So I did this. Started with one of these for $13:
http://microcenter.com/product/403316/Folio_Tablet_Case_for_Google_Nexus_7_Black
I carefully took a putty knife and removed the cover part from the plastic case part and used a double sided adhesive square that I cut to the approximate size and stuck it directly on the back of the N7. Its entirely removable with a little heat and some patience, and does exactly what I want lightweight, cheap, and about 15 minutes of time. The buttons and ports are all full exposed and if folded back, it still fits into an OEM dock. I don't have one but I tried it on a buddy's at work. Yes, I know I need to clean my screen.

Neat. Glad it worked out. I was thinking of putting something together myself like this but I am not sure what magnet to use.
Which one did you end up using and where did you get it from?
Its built into the cover I linked to. The cover is double sided taped to a hard plastic shell from which I removed it.

I'm thinking of doing this with a good quality hardshell case. Any suggestions on a good hardshell to use?
