Has anyone been able to successfully pair a Dualshock 3 wireless controller over bluetooth with their Vivid? I'm curious as to if this will work, or if I bought a PS3 controller for no reason (I don't have a PS3).
I tired pairing on my vivid doesn't work. But works on my galaxy nexus it kinda weird can't explain this...

I've my Plantronic Backbeat Go pairing with my Samsung Galaxy Note without any problem. However, I found that it seems not working with Nexus 7. Anyone knows why? Or does Nexus 7's bluetooth cannot pair with any bluetooth headset?

For those having difficulty, make sure your other devices have BT switched off just to be sure there's no confusion as to what it's connecting to, might help.

This is what I was going to say. If the headset is connected to your phone, you won't be able to pair it with your tablet. Also make sure your tablet isn't connected to anything else.
Other than that, I've been using my Plantronics Backbeat 903+ Stereo Headset with my N7, and it's working well. I was actually looking at the Backbeat Go as an "upgrade" (with half the battery life)... how do you like the headset in general?
good luck,
Billy
Thanks all the replies. I have my Backbeat Go works with my N7 now. It was connected to my Galaxy Note and thats why failed.
The Backbeat Go is nice while i can watching movies on my N7 without a toublesome wire connecting. The sound quality is good as a bluetooth headset and its better then MW600 to me.

I have a bluetooth keyboard for my nexus 7 (the amazonbasics keyboard, which i have fallen in love with) and was considering getting a pair of bluetooth headphones for when i'm in the library. However i want to be able to listen to music and use my keyboard simultaneously (meaning two bluetooth connections). Is this possible? Am i trying to squeeze too much out of this device? =P
Thanks for any assistance you can give me!
It can. I think. .I had it paired to 2 different bluetooth devices b4 and had no problem. I was streaming music to a bt receiver and connected to an obd2 thinga majig. Worked fine.

So I am on a custom rom (Stock w/Goodies), but it is a sense ROM, and as far as I know, has a stockish kernel. I, being the hard headed person I am, downloaded the sixaxis compatibility checker app, and paired my PS3 controller. It worked. So I bought the sixaxis app, fired up dead trigger, and I am able to play with the controller. I thought this was impossible on the One, and most HTC devices, due to their bluetooth stack.

You're welcome. Lol. I figured there had to be some other people here that would be pleased to know.
QUICK! Before this thread dies! Is there any way to connect the DS3 to the One with no root?! How about Bluetooth?
If so, how do I go about doing this?

I used the sixaxis app from the market and did the initial paring using the PC utility as I don't have an OTG cable. That worked for me.

I used an OTG cable with the sixaxis app and everything worked including bluetooth. Dont know if it makes a difference but I used the original controller without rumble.

I've been using a DS3, so it shouldn't matter what one you use.
I can pair using sixaxis but it's nowhere near as good as the Asus transformer with dock you can just plug and play lol

I saw that they supported ps3 controllers but not ps4. I might give it a try though.

Hi all, I'm having issues with a cheap Miracast dongle bought on eBay.
My phone can see and connect to it, but when the dongle says "ready to display" the connection gets dropped and the device disappears momentarily from the 'available devices' screen on my phone.
I suspect this is the dongle more than the ROM but if someone else with a Miracast receiver could confirm I'd appreciate it.
