Please don't compare a Bugatti with Ferrarri. One is Super Amoled HD screen and one TFT Screen... It can't be compared at all buddies.. Just accept what it is..

Everybody is facing this. It's a common issue; I presume it to be normal.
Pink spot in Camera? Lol, the last time I read about that were in the S2's.
However, that doesn't sound good. I am 98% sure that we all have the same camera firmware and I'm not having the pink; my shots are perfectly clear. Loving the panoramic views.
On topic--Post your camera firmware as well!
Where is your Galaxy Note made in, this may hint a better conclusion,
Lift the battery of your phone, and Read what it says on the sticker affixed on the back of the phone.
Currently, Korea, China, and Vietnam are the current factories assembling this phone.
Let us know.
Made in China,,anyway how to know my firmware?
My shots are perfect too but only on white background is pink spot.
How to check cam FW?
you can try dialing
*#*#34971539#*#*
and picking the first option "Phone/CAM FW Ver Check"
DO NOT PICK ANY OTHER ITEMS in that hidden menu, or you will F*CK UP your phone.
Okay..tnx.
Check this photo i am sure is good..

[Q] HTC Vivid Screen Black

Hello, today I slipped and fell and my HTC Vivid seemed to have taken the fall pretty hard because whenever I turn it on its screen is completely black, but it theres streaks of white on the bottom. It almost looks as if a nail of white is on the bottom when I turn on the phone. Any ideas to get my screen working again?

Lcd/digitizer combo is easiest fix & goes for anywhere between $50-65 on ebay and the time it takes to fix.
Or you can be adventurous and just buy the lcd only. Costs $30-35 and a lil more time.

You lcd is broken.
You should check if the phone is reconigzed by a computer. Changing the lcd screen is a challenging task, but if you are patient you can do it.

If Faux made a calibration app, would you use it?

If Faux cooked up an app for us to be able to calibrate our screens, would you use it? I for one would and I'd imagine that every user in the Nexus 7 forums would jump aboard.
What I'm basically doing is getting a show of hands. Maybe if Faux would see this, he'd jump on it. I'd easily pay $5 for such an app. These screens are horribly calibrated out of the box as you all know..

Yea colors, contrast, brightness and gamma.
Some people get lucky and get a screen they're satisfied with like yourself, but some of us aren't so lucky.
For example my N7s gamma is too high and everything is overly bright or has a bloom effect so to speak. Essentially making reading text a task. Stressful on my eyes, etc.

Then sir please explain me why the n4 which has a IPS LCD can be calibrated. The only reason we can't calibrate it is because the devs can't find an interface (kernel) to change the colors like it is with the n4 (or amoled devices) . Seems like nvidia and Asus went cheap on this one... I hope there will be some changes for the new Android version.

That doesn't matter one bit. Neither does the type of screen. Any display can be calibrated. It's just a matter of figuring out how.

Calibrating this screen is simply not possible because the interface is not there. The only way to calibrate is using the specialized software from the factory, which we obviously don't have. It will never be possible in the kernel, unless google/asus adds it (unlikely).

Amoled always has calibration info to mess with due to how they work (no backlight) and their infancy requiring calibration.
Samsung devices almost always have calibration info, probably due to touchwiz and their display modes feature.
Nexus 4 users just got lucky. Google made a source change to emphasize yellows, leaving code for the devs to play with and now understand.

I have same situation. My wife also uses AHD but her screen seems more bright than mine.
I replaced my LCD screen last month after it was broken. I bought from ebay.
However, as I remembered, my original LCD screen seem more bright than my wife's one.
I cannot figure out why
Both of them are different roms and kernel.

It is because since s4, full black color will turn off the pixel so need more time to turn it on again.
You can use Screen Adjuster from playstore, read below thread.
