I can't find it, NO CLOCK IN HTChome option???

I know I've seen today screens w/o the big ass clock. How do I disable it? I've searched and read 10+ pages and can't figure it out.

I've got customizer. I just can't find the option to remove the big ass clock. I've seen screenshots of today screens without it. Are those folks using a different app?

Just disable HTC Home, then enable messaging, tasks, callender and most of everything is back without the clock.

but i like the other stuff on HTC Home. Isn't there a way to do both?

Yea, learn to wright code, and create a program that does this.

The best you can do is disable the 'home' tab.
You should be able to do this in the Start->Settings->Today->HTC Home tab
If not, search the forums for the newest version of HTC Home.

Widgets?

So we've got the clock and search bar built in....
Do we know about other widgets? I recall hearing there was a delay or something on widgets.
I'd like one that shows the weather/calendar items on the home page so I don't have to check manually. Yeah, nothing too big, just wondering if anyone knew what's up with the lack of widgets out there.

Edit: Just to expand on this a bit; as I said in my first post, if you don't see something you like, then don't download it... If you want something different, let me know and I'll try help out. I don't see how it's that fair to register on a forum just to say "not that good"... And then even spell it incorrectly.

I have a request.. Could you make this wallpaper fixed for my Elf,WM 6.5.x? The wallpaper moved upward which make it not aligned and overlapped with the taskbar.. How to fix it? (If I'm in the wrong thread,could you please direct me to the link..) Thank you..

I take it you're using the 'old style' Today screen, and not M2D or the Titanium panel...? Unfortunately, that is a problem with the newer WM 6.5 beta builds, it started happening in build 23*** I think. I'm still looking for a solution to that..

You can switch by going to Start > Settings > Personal > Home, then switch to the 'Items' tab and select 'Windows Default'. That will enable the Titanium / CHome Panel.
On the left is the 'old style' home screen (doesn't have very much on it, but you can choose a bunch of different components for it; Tasks, Messaging, etc.), on the right is the newer 'Titanium' or 'CHome Panel':
Note: If you have any questions more detailed than this, please do a search on XDA-Dev and you'll see a lot more information..

Not as yet... But I do have a couple abstract and anime pics that follow a black and red theme. I'll sort a couple out and try get them uploaded a bit later today.

The third post now has a couple anime wallpapers as well, I really wasn't sure which ones to choose... Most of them have really light backgrounds, so they don't really work too well with white text.

nemo player widget

forgive me if this belongs in QnA but i currently have the awesome nemoplayer app. really nice app but the problem im having is with the widget. when i try to add the widget to a home page with no other widgets in it, it still says not enough room. i also tried a couple of home replacements but still the same result. anyone know why?

The nemoplayer was made for a phone with more screen real estate. The g1/mt3g is smaller and is not able to show a widget bigger than it. You can tell the difference when you open the app and when searching for a picture to look at half of the bottom row is cut off

Actually I'm having this same problem on my nexus one.

Copying widgets?

Is there a way to copy a widget from one screen and paste it on another so they appear on both screens?
The reason I am asking is because I am using minimalist text widget and the restore function isn't working and it's kind of a pain rewrite 4 widgets of custom text on every screen...
So I'd like to know if I can copy them?

you would think my suggestion would be simpler, hehe

can you kindly tell me the name of the app that can copy widget from one rom to another

I posted this in 2012 and I haven't been in the rom community in a few years so I don't remember the apps I had found that did this. sorry.
