Did you figure out a way to run a Custom Rom on a emulator? because I've been searching online with no luck.

Well you have to backup your custom rom then get your system.img and use it in avd.
Basically you just only have to copy paste, you need to have downloaded the android sdk, version must be the same as your custom rom. Please do a google search, as i am unable to give you the procedure to do it as my memory is too bad

Need the source

How can I get the source of android that works on HTC Kaiser?
I mean the source for the Android, not the linux kernel. It seems that the official one doesn't work.
Depends on which android version you mean. And you can find them in the rom development thread.

There is no Android that works on the Kaiser. The rom chefs take the Android version and run it in a Linux shell within Windows Mobile.

As stated there are no roms for flashing around at this time, you must boot via WM but here are some threads to get you started:

Extracting the code for yourself so you can reverse engineer and create exactly what you were after in the first place. Job's a good'un.

8 gig Scan Disk micro sdhc

I just got one of these cards. Will it be ok to use it for custom roms or should I get another type ?
What is the easiest and best way to partition it correctly ?
Will some of the new Rom's do this for you after you root and wipe ?

Simple, don't put a kernel in the ROM,you are not obliged to do that. Also,CoCafe doesn't want his kernel by default in ROMs.

If people want to install ROM they need to use custom recovery. Only kernel that is supported now is CoCore, so 99% of chance is that they will already have CoCore.

If so,I think you need to extract it.Better ask CoCafe if he gave you the permission or look for a guide.
Also, your "clean" behaviour will not lead to an answer.

You can use this file type as well... Check updater script of any existing rom which has a kernel of same for type... And copy the same line... But first ask for permission from the cook of the rom...
Or extract your kernel and search for mount points for kernel and use it..

I assume you don't have one installed. You wrote that your bootloader is unlocked. You can flash a custom recovery via flashtool or command prompt. Make sure you're taking one for xperia z. Otherwise you will hardbrick your phone.

Use the search function. There are some threads about it. If you want to use an app your phone has to be rooted. Though you want to be careful with those apps. Usually using flashtool is the better and safer way. Use toweleoot.apk to root your phone.
What's going on in there?
